The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Mediterranean food

Went here for a business dinner. Their staff were very attentive. The place is clean and the food was great. Their sushi platter were presented well and taste good as well. Highly recommend the beef on skewers. It is perfectly cooked and tastes great! The only thing missing here is the knowledge of their waiting staff in terms of food being served. It was not explained and when asked have to go back to the kitchen and get the answer. It was overall a bit pricey but gives good value in terms of quality.

Very poor food. Little to no filling in the toasties, all the food came out cold. And the price! So over priced for what it was. I would never eat there again.

the food was so bad and the waiter was all sad and that. they spilt some of the drink of my partner jitney and the food took forever to come ( 2 hours) and it was superposed to be a quick snack and the food was def not kosher. and it was fricking moldey. just like the waiter.

We popped into L'Opera after a meal and a walk and upon entering we were in awe of the opulent decoration. The staff were friendly and despite not having a book (definitely need a booking for evening!) we were seated immediately (but given a time that we would need to be finished - 2 hours was plenty of time!) We had the Arabic coffee and chai, both of which were lovely and hot. We also had the fruit (watermelon and pineapple) and baklawa which were beautifully presented. At no point were we hurried or ignored - in fact, the opposite. We found the staff extremely attentive and will definitely be going back. However, I was more than a little disappointed with the toilets, which were, quite possibly, the worst I've ever been in!

Checked out the yummys recently. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The chicken tikka wrap was alright, but the dip was stingy, and the milkshake was so watery it barely had any taste. While the server was friendly, he seemed a bit over-enthusiastic giving us unsolicited irrelevant advice. It felt a bit patronising. Making this visit unsatisfactory. 👎👎

I had a lovely evening with my wife and adult daughter and her friend the other evening, great service and a friendly atmosphere, my personal favourites were the Keftedes, Dolmades (exceptional) and Lamb Souvlaki but the Cyprus platter looked amazing, I don't think you can go wrong as my wife is a fussy eater and she enjoyed it so I know we will be back. 👍

Love the food so 4 stars. But it's Sunday at 17:00 and they're not here.

Lovely and tasty food.. very good portions and amazing atmosphere. I would recommend everyone to come here, the restaurant inside is beautiful. And most importantly the customer service is outstanding! I will be definitely returning.

Un tipo muy agradable y amable llamado Ahmed Ali me sirvió en el restaurante hoy. Su gran servicio al cliente y cálida sonrisa me hizo sentir muy bienvenido. Vengo a menudo a este restaurante ya que la comida es fantástica, fresca, sabrosa y cocinada a la perfección cada vez. También el personal es siempre acogedor, amable, educado y servicial

Entró por una taza de café y un pastel, pero se fue como 2 niños pequeños corriendo por el comedor gritando completamente sin supervisión de los padres o el personal.

Absolutely amazing!! Best place I'm Shoreditch. Staff are SO friendly!! 100% recommend. Must try! Definitely coming back.

Order was missing bread, salad and sauce for 1 of 2 kebabs. Phoned shop but guy was rude and unwilling to offer to deliver missing items even though they had been paid for. He then told me only one kebab comes with bread, salad etc???? Strange policy. In the end the guy was just making it up as he went along. Very poor. If I could give them zero stars I would.

We arrived for lunch and weren’t sure which way to enter the restaurant. There is a front door but no sign or anything intimating it was the main entrance or whether it was the door for the hotel or the restaurant or both; so we opted for the side gate but still weren’t sure if we were going the correct way. Still not sure whether we had entered the restaurant via the correct route we were seated quickly and my young daughter needed the bathroom: we went to the bathroom leaving my partner at the table and by the time we came back there were still no menus on the table. I did wonder if it was the start of things to come. However, thankfully, I was wrong. Everything after that was seamless. Service was good and food was great. My partner had the burger, I had eggs Benedict and my daughter had pizza. My only personal preference with the eggs Benedict would be to have a thick slice of ham, but as I say, that’s my personal preference. All the food was good quality. We liked the seating arrangements too; tables weren’t squeezed in and there was plenty of space between tables. We’ve already recommended this place to friends and family and will return ourselves in the area.

Otro gran restaurante en un sitio que no funciona por muchos. lugares anteriores han desaparecido. Tienen otro sitio en ESHER que está lleno, pero que es el lugar preferido de una multitud joven y unas cuantas futbolistas. Por desgracia Wimbledon Village no funcionaba. No será el primero y dudo que será la última para probar.
