The best restaurants serving Japanese food in City Centre Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh and Lothian

Went to Edinburgh for the day and found this place on our tour! It has only been open a month the owner told us. The food was absolutely amazing! Please check out the pics I posted.. you won’t be disappointed 😋

Bubble Tea was divine. It was a bit of a wait but Taro Tea definitely worth it. Would definitely return.

I was craving a comforting rice dish and this place definitely delivered. I ordered the aubergine miso and the pork kastu curry and both were delicious. All the staff were very friendly and food did not take long at all to come out.

El servicio era de primera categoría, la comida era hermosa y fresca y el ambiente era relajado. La factura era justa por la calidad, aunque ten en cuenta que puede salir caro si como nosotros quieres probar muchos platos. Esto no quita nada de la experiencia, sin embargo, definitivamente vale la pena.

I have not had better Sushi in Edinburgh. Ingredients are top class, fish is just melting in your mouth, quality, servie and, of course, the taste... first class.

Will definitely go back for the chicken karage. Great food, amazing service and ultra comfortable chairs (trust me)

Good service but food quality was less than average. Sushi was Ok but chicken teriyaki was bad, most of it was plain rice, chicken was scarce and tasteless, and there was an evident lack of vegetables. Sad if you consider they charge £9 per Teriyaki dish. We won’t come back.

Stay away from this restaurant if you have severe allergies. After speaking to staff members about my allergy and the waitress supposedly “acknowledging” this they proceeded to served me a starter with exactly what I was allergic to putting me into an anaphylactic shock where I was rushed to hospital. Upon confronting the staff at a later date for an explanation, I received no follow up or apology…

So glad we finally decided to try this restraunt! Beautiful food, the chicken onigiri is one of the best things ive ever tried! 5 star service, super quick delivery every time we order. Thanks for the salmon and cream cheese freebie this will be one of our new favs!!! Amazing thanks again

Originally intended to go to a better-known ramen restaurant up the road but they were full so we tried this. So glad we did. The pepper beer ramen was fantastic. Broth full of flavour. Seafood ramen also excellent. Nice gyoza. Staff friendly and efficient. Only taking a point off because they add a service charge which has no place in the UK.

Very nice place to eat. The food was very tasty and the portions were very large. You have the option to take the rest with you. The staff was also very approachable and friendly. It's the second time I come here and I would definitely return again! Recommended! 🍜

Been many times, always excellent. Mostly made to order, it's always very fresh with genuine japanese taste. Love the Ramen option too.
