Soul Sushi in Edinburgh, City of

Good service but food quality was less than average. Sushi was Ok but chicken teriyaki was bad, most of it was plain rice, chicken was scarce and tasteless, and there was an evident lack of vegetables. Sad if you consider they charge £9 per Teriyaki dish. We won’t come back.

Such a great place and lots of variety! I would definitely recommend the miso soup and poke bowls!!! The service was incredible too.

Terrible quality, poor service. Sushi rice was rock hard, the roll couldn’t keep its shape. Ordered wasabi, they charged but forgot to put in a bag. Usually not this bad, whoever making this sushi today need his skill up seriously.

Pleasant service without a doubt but food was very synthetic tasting and poor quality. What a disappointment this place was.

Great platter of sushi which was exactly what we needed Delivery on time to our hotel and requests followed. Great food and bubble teas.

You normally give 2 Soy sachets anyway. I ordered four more. Only two arrived in total. Some other times I have ordered the meal has arrived without the sauces for the Duck Gyoza and Salmon Karaage. It's a bit hit or miss on those. It's happened quite often. Otherwise I love your food.

Due to an error on my end (US phone number) the driver wasn’t able to reach me, and by the time I called the restaurant my food was cold. They remade everything and sent it out to me in under half an hour, and it was extremely delicious when it got here. Really appreciate the outstanding service!!!

Food was amazing and after phoning the restaurant they were great helping me find my order and what what happening with it so not the restaurants fault just mabye the driver

We LOVE Soul Sushi! However tonight we never got our special dipping sauce with our gyozas or our chopsticks. Would like to stress that this is the first time this has happened! Food was OUTSTANDING! Thank you!

I find it really annoying when the katsu sauce is on the chicken rather than delivered separately because you just get soggy chicken. A shame.

We ordered two of their mixed boxes sets, hosomaki and California. These had obviously been made long in advance, and had dried out enough to stick to the container. They were not enjoyable and, although we were hungry, we gave up a quarter of the way into the meal.

absolutely phenomenaly gorgeous food. katsu chicken bowl was lush, toats recommend, we almost left b4 ordering bc the sun was shining on our backs and it felt like a sauna 🔥🔥☹️, but we still stayed bc we were exasperatingly hungry. katsu bowl was very spicy for me but i have very weak tastebuds and my system goes on fire with even sweet chilli doritos🙁. anyway was very tasty and would toats recommend🥰🥰

Beautiful, thrilling and ticklish in all the right ways, this meal was a jet-fuel packed, spice ride into the world trade centre of my mouth…and these steel beams are thoroughly melted.

The cooked salmon (miso soup, teriyakiroll, karaage) was extremely dry, like frozen salmon was used. Rest of sushi was average. Would prefer the inari pocket filled with rice as per description and not on top.

Delicious food, and speedy delivery. We had the duck gyoza (delicious could easily have eaten twice as many), the duck rolls (they were very nice), tuna box (the tuna was a bit too warm by the time it arrived), and the mixed dorayaki (that was overpriced). Would definitely order from them again

Netter Sushi Laden. Aber nichts zum gemütlich sitzen, eher was für die Schnelle. Sushi selber war lecker. Preise waren aber top und Qualität dafür auch ok.

Food was tasty as always! Arrived over half an hour early and the delivery driver was lovely and polite (sorry we had no cash to give him a tip but will make sure we get him next time). Definitely recommend Soul Sushi and its our usual sushi place.

Sushi roll looked like it had been put together by a messy child and fell apart but the poke bowl was beautiful and delicious.

Good food and arrived early. We'd specifically said on the order not to buzz and ring our mobile. Unfortunately, the delivery guy buzzed which woke our 3 month old up. We quickly kissed goodbye to a quiet evening with our Sushi. Not sure we'd order again.

Your delivery driver was so polite, wish there was an option to tip the driver. Food was delicious, even converted my friend who looked revulted by the fact I ordered sushi. Made him try a piece of dragon roll and his mind completely changed, expect him to start ordering from you too. Great service and food, zero complaints.

Absolutely delicious, my children and I ordered for our last night in Edinburgh and it was a real treat. Hot, fresh and so tasty. Great portions (chicken katsu and duck bowl), excellent bubble tea, we only wish we had one in Bristol.

Food was great! Only con is that the avocado wasn't ripe. Definitely eating here again! Food portions were amazing! 100% recommend!

Curry rice is very delicious , sushi is ok

The food was great, we even got our delivery 10 minutes earlier! The only thing is that the sauce from gyoza got flattened and spilled in the bag (it was a bit of a shame cause the sauce is really good and goes so well with gyoza).

Absolutely amazing! So happy to be able to get a bubble tea with my food too. This is my favourite type of food and this is a great restaurant. 100% recommend!

Ordered around 6:30pm. At 8pm when I phoned to check the status they told me it was due to a lack of just water drivers when it finally arrived at 8:30pm I was delighted to see that they’d included a few extra bits to my order as an apology- with a note! This more than made up for the very long wait!

Was not the standard it usually is.

Been twice in the last week and what a find. First time we had the poke bowls, absolutely gorgeous. Really fresh and tasty. Second visit we had the land and sea sushi plate and pork gyoza. Probably the best sushi I've ever had and great value. Same with the gyoza, makes me realise I've accepted poor quality before as this was amazing! Can't recommend this place enough.

Amazing experience! My second time ordering from this restaurant, and the quality was just as radge as the first time. It came about half an hour early too, if not up to 40 mins, so that was really great! Love the delivery service from these guys. Will be ordering more scran in the future fosho!
