We went around 5.30pm midweek as a family of four, the chef seemed rushed and almost like he didn’t want to be there both me and my husband walked away feeling like he had been mocking us and worst our kids. Food wasn’t great especially given the price - £120 for 2 adult and 2 kids (under 8) mains, 2 apple juices, a glass of wine and a G&T. The food was so salty we were all guzzling water for hours afterwards. Didn’t stay for pudding so can’t comment on that

Food was very tasty, the chef we were seated with was good and I enjoyed the interactive experience. Only downside was it was so crowded. Personally I think there was 2 seats too many at each table which meant you had to keep your arms pinned to your sides so you didn't elbow the stranger next to you. Also the seating area is tight so people had to keep moving if you wanted to get past. Would recommend as an experience, but it is expensive so not something for a casual meal.

A wide range of mega delicious sushi to choose from. Wonderfully presented and friendly staff.

A fantastic little sushi restaurant. For lunch or dinner. Each of chefs selection (Omakasa) sashimi pieces had an actual melt in your mouth quality, that should be taken slowly and savoured for maximum taste. The reception staff, and waiting staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, with attentive service. The chefs were professional, and were visibly pleased to see us not only enjoy the food so much but also take their advice on the order the eat them. The head chef Rodriguez was a star, explaining where the fish and products were sourced from (many different places globally), while preparing the fishes in front of us, so we learnt the cuts and differences in texture and taste. We had great fun chatting to them all, with nice ambient music in the background. The prices were fair for the quality, and we probably over ordered during our stay because it was so good. We finished with the recommended homemade matcha cheesecake which was with only subtle matcha flavour (which suits me as I generally do not like matcha) and it was delicious. Lovely food and people. We will certainly be back.

This restaurant was extremely expensive for a whole in the wall with no atmosphere. Save your money and go somewhere that has alittle more wow.

I visited the Japanese restaurant Seven Lucky Gods and was quite satisfied with the taste of the dishes. The fried potatoes were especially delicious – simply amazing. However, there are a few drawbacks. First of all, the menu doesn't indicate the portion sizes, which makes ordering a bit difficult, especially when you're with a group. Additionally, the portion size of some dishes doesn't match the price. For example, for £7, we received a very small piece of fish, which was a bit surprising. It would be great if the restaurant could address these issues. Also, keep in mind that the service charge is included in the bill. Otherwise, everything else was great – nice atmosphere and tasty food.
