Happened to walk past the new Clifton triangle branch last night, and decided to pop in to try. So glad we did as we now have a new favourite noodle takeout! The prices were very reasonable, the menu uncomplicated but with plenty of vegan choices and the food was beautifully presented and so delicious. The perfect portion size too, I wasn’t hungry or over full after having them. Will definitely be regulars!

Lonely Mouth on Gloucester Road truly shines with its focus on traditional Japanese breakfast dishes. The spicy fried rice, jam, egg pickles, and choice of protein create a satisfying and flavorful meal that feels both comforting and exciting. But the standout for me was the Ube drink – a vibrant purple concoction made with yams and Matcha. It was absolutely delicious and is now my top recommendation! If you’re after authentic Japanese cuisine with some unique twists, Lonely Mouth is a must-visit in Bristol. Highly recommended!

We were looking for a good Sushi restaurant in Bristol, this one came up highly recommended on multiple search’s. It’s a little gem of a restaurant, very busy and very good ambiance. There were a good mix of couples, first dates and families enjoying meals. There’s not much staff interaction as you order of a QR code, so not much banter which is a shame. The food arrives very quickly and is absolutely delicious, fresh and lovingly prepared by the chef. It is also very reasonably priced for the quality and we were surprised by the total cost being so cheap. We will definitely return as it was one of the best Sushi restaurants we have visited.

I visited the Japanese restaurant Seven Lucky Gods and was quite satisfied with the taste of the dishes. The fried potatoes were especially delicious – simply amazing. However, there are a few drawbacks. First of all, the menu doesn't indicate the portion sizes, which makes ordering a bit difficult, especially when you're with a group. Additionally, the portion size of some dishes doesn't match the price. For example, for £7, we received a very small piece of fish, which was a bit surprising. It would be great if the restaurant could address these issues. Also, keep in mind that the service charge is included in the bill. Otherwise, everything else was great – nice atmosphere and tasty food.

Some of the best sushi this side of Tokyo. All their food is prepared freshly in a fast and friendly environment. Their miso soup is gorgeous and the menu contains none of the other pan-Asian, Anglicised versions you get in most other so called Japanese restaurants in Bristol (and most places). Worth seeking out if you're anywhere in the west country.

I've been going to Jo's tea for at least two months now and I've always had such a lovely experience. The pricing is good and has lovely staff members. The uniqueness and variety of the drink are just the icing on the cake with Jo's tea but there are so many wonderful things to say about it. Me and boyfriend go at least once a week. Other bubble tea/boba tea shops like CUPP and Bubbleology in Bristol can be quite pricey for the size and don't have as many variations but Jo's tea is something special and a pleasurable experience always. We always try to have something new and I love all of the flavours!

We had a lot of food and 90% of it was really awful. Chewy chicken, tinned corn, the veg served with all food wasn’t pickled (it’s a Korean restaurant… ?) … pancake was soggy, dumplings were tasteless. I don’t feel good writing a bad review but I really feel like it needs to said about this place.
