Amazing food! We had yakimeshi, tempura vegetables and gyoza. Everything prepared to perfection and approved by toddler. Good portions and friendly staff. We will be definitely coming back!

Great little ramen restaurant. I had the seafood laksa and it was nice and spicy and my partner had the Yasai ramen which she also enjoyed. The seaweed crisps were delicious as a complimentary appetiser. Really friendly atmosphere too. We will be back!

Absolutely delicious ramen! The Chashu ramen was the highlight – the pork was full of authentic Japanese flavour and melted in the mouth. The miso soup was rich and comforting. We also tried the prawn tempura, which was incredibly fresh and perfectly crispy. Everything tasted amazing and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended for anyone craving proper Japanese ramen!

I tried the Chashu Ramen at this lovely Japanese restaurant—my second visit here. The chashu portion was generous and absolutely delicious. My friends ordered the chicken katsu ramen and thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We also shared some mochi for a small dessert, which was a delightful way to end the meal. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant is conveniently located in a good area of Filton, right along the main road.

A great neighbourhood Asian restaurant. Came across this place. A nice welcome. Seemed busy on the night I went. I tried the crispy Hong Kong style noodles. Reminds me of some of my childhood dishes and was authentic. Love finding these little gems!

I just had a lovely meal with my mom at Ramen Zen. The restaurant was recommended to me by my friend and I finally got a chance to go while my mom visiting from the US. our waitress was very helpful and equally kind. I will most certainly be back!

Great Ramen, tasted like a classic tonkotsu, went all in and had an extra egg.

Vegetable Katsu, some raw vegetables in an undercooked soggy batter. Not good. the tables were pungent with table spray perfume. So disappointed with all of it.

Ordered from here recently, ate it and vomited it out possibly due to food poisoning as I had never vomited something out before. The ho fun looked nothing like the picture! It wasn’t even fried, the chicken was raw!. And the takoyaki was basically burned.

Really lovely place - good vibes, attentive and friendly staff. Sat quickly, menu was explained and had a nice atmosphere. Food was delicious, we both had ramen and the broths were perfectly flavoured. Food was super fresh and the starters were hot and crispy. Vegan options pretty decent - I had gyoza, a spring roll and the vege tempura ramen (without the egg) One ramen each would definitely be enough but we got too excited by the starters and over-ordered. However, mains were great value for money and definitely going to be our new treat spot

Cute place, nice decor and music. Easy to get lost watching the cooking mama-esque video they play. Service good. Got complimentary but hot nuts so beware. Now food: Had the bao buns - 4/5 we liked them but kinda gave burger vibes which we weren't expecting - think it's the iceberg lettuce. Nice and crispy though and good taste. Mains- boyf had sizzling house special with crispy noodles which he enjoyed.4/5 I had the seafood ramen 5/5 - seafood was nicely cooked, not overdone at all. Good portions for both. We had the two desserts- both good, you can mix and match flavours which was good. 4/5

Calm and tranquil atmosphere, Variety of options so wide we failed to choose what to get in our second visit to the restaurant, ofc the food never failed to surprise our tongues. One recommendation would be the pork katsu ramen. p.s. very welcoming and helpful service from one of the waitresses.

This ramen shop never disappoints—always delicious, just like before. The broth is rich yet balanced, the noodles are perfectly chewy, and the toppings complement it well. With great weather and amazing flavors, a bowl of this ramen is enough to brighten my whole day.

Walking in the climate was very cozy and welcoming. The staff greeted us with a smile and explained everything very well. While you we're waiting for your food to come, there was a screen at the front that showed the different dishes and how they we're made. You didn't have to wait long though because your chosen meal came steaming hot and smelling spectacular. I ordered orange juice and I could tell it was made if actuall oranges instead of sweeteners. For my starter I had chicken tsukune - which is basically chicken meatballs - and it was delicious; the meat was succulent and a bomb of flavors! After that, I had pork Katsu udon as my main course which also surpassed my expectations. The portion of udon was very big and filling; I would say it was a portion for two. After eating, my mood was on the upside and my stomach was warm and happy. The room was comforting enough to even stay and talk with my friends. Definitely recommend :3

This is easily the best Japanese restaurant in Bristol. They don’t only serve Japanese food but proper Asia street food like salt and pepper king prawns! Big shout out to their port katsu curry rice, reminds me the day back in Asia.

The beancurd dish is juicy and tasty. Staff are very kind As usual. Also, saw some new dishes, will back soon to check it out.

Food was good from memory, but recently found they have a food hygeine rating of 0 out of 5 so won't be returning until that changes.

First time at a Japanese restaurant! Really enjoyed our meal. I'm such a fussy eater and cannot eat spices or lots of flavoursome vegetables... However ate miso soup and seafood ramen and had nothing that I couldn't eat. Loved the plum wine too. Just a bit cool inside, but early Feb, so see how it is next time! 👏

This is a hidden gem in Bristol. Ramen is better than tonkotsu and much cheaper. Staff are friendly and happy to help woth any dietary requests and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing!

My girlfriend has been living on Filton Avenue for the past 2 years and had been dying to try this place. After suggesting we visit on a Saturday morning, I was met with a joyous smile and we drove straight down there only an hour later. To keep it short and simple, the food was delicious. We were met with a friendly smile and a quaint atmosphere and nice background music. The menu was simple yet covered all options. We both had a Chashu Ramen with a Tonkotsu base, and salt and pepper chips on the side. The chips were a very tasty snack to keep you busy until the main event arrived. The ramen… where do I start, it was quite simply brilliant. Hearty, flavoursome, rich and unique flavours all around. I give it a 10/10 and urge others to try.

Tried this place recently and although the food wasn’t authentic Japanese in my opinion, it was tasty and good value for money. The ramen broth is quite weak, but a nice option for people trying Japanese food out. Really lovely service and a nice atmosphere!

We had the nicest food and service at Rahman Zen this evening! We had 4 amazing starters and 2 main meals and could have enjoyed them more! As you can see by the pictures it was cooked amazingly well and super colourful! We would recommend the salt and pepper chips, pork rahmen and house special sizzler! All so flavoursome and delicious!

Fried chicken - absolutely amazing. It's as delicious as anything I had in Japan. By far the best thing I've eaten in England. Pork dumplings - the best. No complaints. Chicken cutlet - delicious. I prefer a smooth sauce with a blend of vegetables. Mochi - the worst. Very damp and submerged in water. I can only assume that you took it out of the freezer and didn't thaw it in the fridge. I've had mochi at other restaurants, but it was kept in the fridge so it was good for a few hours. It should have been stored in the refrigerator instead of the freezer.

Dined in on the way back to Oxford. very good customer service with lots of selection. There seems to be a lot of repeat customers.

We've been wanting to try this place for a long time because of the reviews. We were very disappointed. First of all, you can't pay by card. Secondly, I ask who served us, he was very chaotic, he mixed up the orders and caused confusion. Most importantly, tasteless food. We took different ramen but they all tasted the same. The taste is not distinctive. Ok for one time but we definitely won't come back.

Delicious food and very friendly and attentive staff. We had the Chashu Ramen and the house special sizzling plate, both were really tasty and large portions. The kimchi and pork crispy gyozas were amazing too. Will definitely be back.

I came here a few months ago and loved the food! Everything is delicious and the service is great. I ordered a takeaway last night on ubereats, but as i ordered from someone else's account I couldn't leave a review on there. But again i loved everything i ordered and i even got a free large duck spring roll ! Thank you, I’ll definitely be visiting/ordering again.
