What a delicious well priced meal. We had Teriyake and a curry, really delicious, fresh and vibrant. Great friendly service. Well recommended.

100% recommended! Visited there for a lunch of a Sunday with 8 friends. The place was very well kept and the ambiance was quite nice. There were a lot of food and beverage options. Staff was very kind and attentive and the food arrived within around 15 minutes after ordering. All the dishes we tried were very good and had distinctive Flavours. Portion sizes were very filling too! Clean toilets, ample space, choice of seating etc. Would not hesitate to go there again

We had a lovely meal here, we chose the largest sushi platter and a ramen noodke soup and it was all delicious. We will definitely return.

At the place where we went two days in a row and liked their sushi, on the last night they told us that the credit card machine was broken and they asked us to pay in cash. We said we didn't have cash, they said send it to me. When we told them we were tourists and we didn't have an account here, they advised us to take the credit card. If that wasn't enough, let one person stay, how do we know you'll come back? They did something rude. I have never seen such rude behavior in my life. I will never go again.

Algunos de los mejores sushi de este lado de Tokio. Toda su comida se prepara recién preparada en un ambiente rápido y amigable. Su sopa de miso es preciosa y el menú no contiene ninguna de las otras sartenes - asiáticas, versiones anglicanizadas que se obtienen en la mayoría de los otros llamados restaurantes japoneses en Bristol (y la mayoría de los lugares). Vale la pena buscar si estás en cualquier parte del país occidental.

Been ordering from here for about 8 years. Superb quality sushi, as good as anywhere else I’ve eaten it in the UK. The soft shell crab and tuna sushi is delicious. Slow delivery, but the quality of food is worth the wait.

Polite and speedy wait staff, menu had good variety and I liked my people watching spot from the window. I recommend the California tamaki - packed and tasty. The pork ramen was fusion but I rather liked it.

The best japanese in town, amazing fresh food, authentic, nice cosy ambiance and the service was very fast. I had a nice talk with the cook chef, you can feel the passion that he puts in his work or should I say, his art! 100% recommend

Have been there couple times and every time it’s been amazing, one of the best Japanese restaurants in Bristol. If you love sashimi and sushi like me, or seafood definitely place to go to. Good selection of started and mains and if you very hangry there are options of large selection of sushi and sashimi. We f you prefer fried food there are good choices too. The drink selection was good. If you visiting Clifton worth give it a try, sometimes tend to get busy so it’s worth giving a ring and book a table in advance. Can be delivered to home as well.

Amazing food! Shared a Sushi Platter with a friend, we had a window seat at first but before our food came out people on tables had left and they graciously offered us a table. Staff member asked us several times through out how our meal was and we couldn't be satisfied.

Went there for a friend's party and the food was great. Staff and owners very friendly and attentive. We had the whole downstairs area so the atmosphere was fab too. Had a huge selection of food.

Sushi was delicious and fresh, and the chicken kaarage was incredible - crisp outside, super tender inside. Service was prompt, polite, friendly. Would recommend highly and will definitely come back.

Love the food. Friendly helpful staff. Upstairs is peaceful. Downstairs is very noisy (due to the acoustics) so best avoid on a busy evening.

Been there today, I was seated next to window , order pork ramen and green tea. Food arrived in few minutes. Food was very very tasty and quality was great. I take dessert with me, great in taste as well. Highly recommended.

We had a great meal here - donburi and noodles rather than sushi, bit the sushi coming out looked amazing. Very reasonable prices, great food and good service.

Cosy atmosphere, very homely. Some of the best sushi I have tasted, certainly the best in Bristol. Extremely decent value for the quality and quantity that you receive and the lovely humble staff only request 8% service charge which I think is too low for the high standard of service we received.

The fish used for the sashimi was old. The pork ramen was composed of very little pork swimming in what tasted like Campbell's soup. Obviously a Chinese version of Japanese staples. Overpriced as well.

So nice all rice is fresh & fish amazing I have shope for long time I try so many place as we before going to bath sushi bar in Nelson street unfortunately suddenly close down is so shame so many restaurant be closed down but we find this fantastic amazing fabulous restaurant .I recommend you go and try fantastic amazing food that are so good and your money never be waste .Mo

It tasted almost the same as what I eat in Japan and was delicious. The atmosphere was good and the toilets were clean. That’s near taste with Japan. Great! (I’m Japanese)

Great restaurant. The sushi was great and teppenyaki dishes were okay. Reasonably priced. Location in Clifton area is lovely. The service was wonderful.

I got a takeaway and it was delicious and well priced! I'm very happy with my experience and I'll go back for sure!

Overall good quality was good; however, the chicken teriyaki was a slight disappointment. The chicken teriyaki was cooked in a non-traditional Japanese way as the ingredients are completely different in compare to a normal authentic chicken teriyaki dish. On the other hand, the tamago maki roll and the vegetable udon was extremely flavourful and tasty.

Booking tonight at 18:30 Restaurant decided to then say they are fully booked but tried calling me at least 3 times. That’s really difficult as I only gave my name when I booked. And even harder when they had my name in the book with the time. Who knows, but being offered takeaway wasn’t the answer I was looking for. Went up the street and spent my money at the other Japanese restaurant

Very good sushi restaurant! Went with my friends and really enjoyed ourselves. Good service and great food:) they had plenty of veggie and vegan options as well as the usual, and then inside ambience was nice! Big tables and a downstairs area too which is ideal. Thank you!

The place doesent look all that fancy , however sushi really good and most definitely will be returning ! We ordered some crispy rolls, chicken futomaki and soft shell crab rolls ...I loved them all 😍 ebi fry prawns were ok,just like they should be .

Great sushi and seriously fresh fish. Never has such fresh fish in Bristol this includes fish stalls.

We loved the food here. It was nice to have some quality sushi and teppanyaki. It reminded us of when we used to eat out in Tokyo when we lived there. You probably wouldn’t usually get sushi and teppanyaki on the same menu but we were really happy with the quality of both. And not unreasonable prices either, we thought. Beef fillet garlic teppanyaki!

All the meals I had were delicious! The boss's warm service made us feel very happy. But my friend’s eel rice seemed to have too many fish bones😵

2nd time here - their portion value and quality have reduced. Salmon in rice bowl was cut paper thin & not as fresh, soft shell crab in sushi was burnt from overfrying. It was a shame, we were impressed last time and looked forward to coming. The pork ramen noodles were good but there were only 2 or 3 small pieces of thin meat. Their prices have kept the same but quantity of meat lowered. Somewhat understable with inflation etc. But would much rather they increase the cost of items instead of reducing quantity and quality.

The hot food taste okay, the raw fish definitely taste fresh. Unfortunately, I am not sure if it was because of the high food prices, the sashimi are all thinner than a piece of paper. 5 pieces of sashimi stacked together still thinner than half the standard size of one piece. What a shame. Will not visit again. Feel like a complete rip off to be honest. There are better choices out there in Bristol. 😒

Visited for dinner with my partner, we're big sushi fans and had heard this was one of the best places in Bristol. The staff were lovely, super helpful and welcoming and happy to help. The food was fantastic, very fresh and tasty, and good value for money. There was plenty of variety, we only tried the sushi dishes but there was plenty of other options should we have wanted something else. The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere, we were seated downstairs which was well lit despite having no windows, so it didn't feel like we were in a basement or anything like that. Thank you so much, will definitely be coming again if we're in Bristol.

Came to Fujiyama for the first time and it was honestly some of the best Sushi we have ever had. Service was very friendly and efficient. Will definitely be going back.

Lovely good - fresh and tastey, nice alternative to the usual Thai or Indian. But, like most Thai restaurants, I think sustainability isn't yet on their agenda as all the packaging for the takeaway was made from virgin plastic packaging.

Fantastic place for Japanese food, we loved the pork bone soup noddles, teriyaki chicken don was a bit too small in potion left too much rice.

This was a quiet, family celebration evening, and the staff were attentive but not 'in your face'. Even the other diners were friendly, so they clearly attract lovely people. The food was really lovely too.Will definitely go back again.

I went for dinner quite recently and the ramen was quite good but I was not very impressed by the sushi! The staff was very friendly and since we were the only costumers there they wanted us leave quickly!

It just felt like a real rip off. £10 for some ramen, it was okay 540 for 4 small piece of sushi, I feel this is kinda normal prices now but the moochi was just crazy, not great value for money

Good fresh sushi, also tried the chicken katsina curry that was under £10.00. The chicken was amazingly crispy, the sauce delicious and a good portion of rice, potatoes and carrots. Very delicious food in a relaxed environment. Highly reccomended. Good value.

Eaten here twice. Both times excellent service and great food. Would recommend 100% if you are looking for authentic Japanese cuisine in the area.
