The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Japanese food

Been here twice in the last fortnight, fantastic menu, fantastic food, great atmosphere. Very reasonably priced and the quality is excellent. If I had to find fault I would say that the CS Ramen was a little bland but the array of condiments sorted that out. Highly recommended

We ordered on line but didn't get confirmation of order, so turned up at counter to pick up Chef's Platter. The sushi was superb plenty for 2 enough for 3. Will be back but they need to sort out on line ordering Fantastic food

absolute best thing i've ever tasted! staff were incredible and food was scrumptious 😛 ordered the harmony platter and was delighted to find edible decorations and free wasabi included... 10/10 would recommend👍👍👍

Pedí los fideos tailandeses. El sabor era un poco débil y los fideos estaban demasiado cocidos. Habiendo vivido en la costa oeste de los EE. UU. Durante más de 50 años, los fideos asiáticos son un alimento básico. Esto fue solo promedio.

Very expensive for what it was. The vegetarian ramen had no taste whatsoever. Lots of noodles, very few veg and a stock cube. The pork Bentu was also disappointing and the edame beans had no salt. £6 for a few steamed beans! So disappointing.

This was actually a take away. Ordered the nigiri and surf and turf. It looked so disgusting, like leftovers thrown in a box. I was so put off by the sight that I did not even dare to try it. Will never order from here again.

Sushi were teeny, the smallest I've seen! The food is nicely presented but doesn't taste like authentic Japanese. There's not much charm about the place. Sorry to be negative, but honestly the sushi place down the road is run by a lovely Japanese lady and is so much better

Our family absolutely love Wagamama food. We, usually, love the whole Wagamama experience. However, the Windsor Wagamama restaurant was full of miserable, disengage staff. Apart from one staff member who was trying his best, the rest of the waiting staff couldn't have cared less. Plates of food and drinks were plonked down on our table without any engagement/interaction. I asked if I could swap out chicken and have tofu instead. Our surly waitress screwed her nose up and looked annoyed. When I asked if this was OK, she said that 'There might not be enough tofu' to accommodate my request. She went off to ask the kitchen. She did not return to tell me the outcome! As it happened, my noodles arrived with the replacement tofu and were unlovingly served to me. Come on Windsor Wagamama, you need to step up your customer service skills. No wonder it was quiet in your restaurant on a Saturday evening! Bring back some smiles and warmth!

En mi opinión: Precios demasiado altos para alimentos demasiado simples. Porciones de postre tan pequeñas. El personal es amable y el restaurante está limpio.

Nous avons réservé par internet : très pratique et efficace. Le personnel a été charmant. Très bons sushis, nous nous sommes régalés mais le tarif est abusif. En prenant du thé comme boisson (pas d’alcool), nous avons payé 162£ pour 2 avec un appétit tout à fait moyen… c’est vraiment trop pour ce que c’est ! Les sushis étaient bons et très frais mais bien trop chers.

Fui ayer con mi hermana pequeña y había una señora en la entrada con muestras de dumpling con sabor a algas, que sabía increíble! Ella era tan agradable y amable y le dijimos que volveríamos después de nuestras compras para comprarlos, y unas horas más tarde volvimos con nuestras compras para conseguirlos y ella era tan dulce y servicial! Si están viendo esto muchas gracias y espero que ustedes le den un aumento de sueldo (ella sabe quién es xx)

There were about 10 dishes of sushi and desserts going round for 40 minutes! We ordered some hot food and were told after sitting down that there would be no fresh sushi til 3pm. We didn’t get any sushi as nothing new came the entire visit. The hot food was luke warm and very small portions for the price. Overall, I was very disappointed and won’t be back.

horrible food the rice totally disgusting... nothing like Brazilian food ! never ever will order again

The worst curry I've ever tasted. For £9. Watery, with stodgy rice, I couldn't get more than a couple bites in. The staff are utterly dead and I don't blame them. I just wanted something other than burgers.

We are regulars to Sushimania but this was the worst dining experience ever. The food took ages to come out and lots of things we ordered didn’t turn up at all. The food was literally thrown at us when it was served. There was a hair in the salad which we told the waitress about. Finally when we had paid the bill and were about to leave, the waitress turned up with one of the dishes we had ordered!! The usual manager was off today. Nightmare experience!
