Wagamama in Windsor and Maidenhead

Amazing service from our server Rachael and delicious food. All 4 of us enjoyed our starters and mains but the visit was extra special because of Rachael's attention and care. Definitely recommend a visit!!

Very slow service not that friendly either . Food was ok . I’ve had a really bad stomach since eating here . It might be a coincidence, but we won’t be returning.

Incredibly upset with our visit to this restaurant. We have been a few times and it’s usually a safe spot for me. As a vegan I love that wagamamas has such a wide range. Unfortunately on this occasion my dish (tofu hotpot) had shreds of chicken at the bottom. I am appalled! This was raised to staff who confirmed that it was chicken with the kitchen. For a company that claims to be so vegan friendly to have one of their restaurants be so careless has ruined the experience. I won’t ever feel confident eating at this chain again.

Walked in for a family meal after visiting the theatre, arriving early evening. Waiting at the front desk to be seated and we were not acknowledged by any of the staff. At least five of the team walked past the three of us to go from one dining room to the other without being acknowledged, and on each occasion the team memebe was empty handed which made it look terrible. Explained to the team member that we were just about to walk out, and she did apologise and explain they were busy. Service afterwards was okay, not great. Ordered drinks and the glasses for our Asahi where filthy. It looks liked the dishwasher hasn't been cleaned or serviced in weeks/months. Asked for clean glasses and a few minutes later, he returned with two freshly washed glasses as they were still wet inside. This shows that there weren't any more clean glasses available - YUK! Food was on par and good. Would I go again - No Would I recommend it? - No

After a morning of walking around Windsor we popped here for a delicious lunch and very unusually for a Wagamama's, it wasn't too busy. my husband for the first time chose a hot Chicken Katsu curry and it was quite funny seeing his head get hotter and hotter! Lovely meal as always from Wagamama.

Came for dinner at around 8, food was nice, but service very slow, had to keep asking for the same thing like water, tea, and co workers having an argument right next to us not very professional, when told bad service they say it’s a new chef and they have a blocked sink!! Evening was ruined because of lack of service. Spent nearly £110 here

Wagamama’s has given us a lovely special night out, with a few friends as two great waiters named Tom and Hamza had provided us with great service and kindness. We appreciate the experience we highly recommend it. This is definitely a great place to visit with fabulous people around, the food was great and the service from the two boys was amazing. Usually love Wagamamas. But my food came out REALLY cold. (I don't just mean it wasn't piping hot. I mean it felt like they'd taken the chicken and prawns out of a fridge.) It took a while to get someone's attention to let them know. They offered to make a fresh one, but by this point my partner had already long finished his and I just wanted to leave. It's really put me off going again.

I had just flown into UK on 11 hour flight and the nice hotel where I was staying had super grumpy staff in their restaurant so I went and got take out from Wagamama. I ordered the shu's 'shiok' chicken. Staff here were friendly and I sat at a table waiting for my takeout which I ate back at my hotel. It was super delicious, still quite hot after a 10 min walk, and everything was fresh, flavorful and delicious.

Great location near Old windsor Station. The restaurant was quite busy for a Thursday night. Nice staff who were efficient. Steak dishes with sobo noodles were delicious.

My friend and I arrived, were seated and given menues. We made our decisions and then spent around 10 minutes trying to get the waitress' attention to order our food. At one point she said she would be with us in a second. Two others arrived and were seated and got to order. We were beginning to think we had turned invisble. After having waited for ten minutes we stood up and left. Worst possible service. If I could I would give grade 0.

I had a brilliant experience at Wagamamas on Saturday 1st April. I came for dinner with a friend and we were served by Tom who provided the best customer service - he was enthusiastic and his customer service was on point!! We will definitely be returning :)

Went today with my husband and my teenager daughters for family valentine's dinner and I'm received a very poor services. Food was cold and my daughter received her Katsu curry chicken after 25 min when we finished already. Totally disgusting. They forgor my daughter Katsu curry chicken. I'm never come back to wagamama Windsor for family dinner. This was my first and last visit.

I have to say, this is the best Wagamamas we have ever been to, the staff were so friendly and professional. We were seated immediately and never once had to call for service. Our waitress Ewa was exceptional, she went through the menu and made recommendations on what we may like, all of which were delicious. I went with my 2 granddaughter's, one being 4 years old who was immediately given crayons to colour the kids menu with, she really enjoyed herself as did my 18 year old who is a noodle fanatic. Many thanks to you Ewa, you made our visit memorable.

My review is somewhat unorthodox and not the norm, but how else do I get my message across. I am going to Wagamama’s this Saturday evening with 8 of my family. I rang just a moment ago (15:32) to book a table but was told that they don’t take bookings and to just turn-up. Now, that’s fair enough and understandable in terms of how they operate. It was more the rush to get me off of the phone, the impolite way of speaking so very fast and not saying hello, and to simply hang-up and not say goodbye. It was hardly a good first impression. I’m a Windsor local and have heard mixed reviews. Let’s hope the experience is good. I use this forum as a means of expressing that even before going, I’m not expecting a good experience. It’s simply my Daughters like the style of food. I’ll leave a further review based on Saturday. And I don’t normally leave reviews! Despite previously heading up Recruitment for TripAdvisor.

Went to Wagamama last week, we ordered veg tempura, gyozas, fried greens, duck donburi and a chicken ramen. Everything was excellent. The staff were especially helpful and the manager couldn't do enough to help with my Sisters allergies. She really did make us feel at ease with our choices and the way it was prepared. Will definitely go there again.

Always seems very rushed at this chain. Your foods does not arrive all together and not always hot be it food or the hot drinks. It’s saving grace is the food is very nice with Portions good for the price. This is a very busy popular location especially in peak tourist season. This is a basement level restaurant and tables are very close so not the best for wheel chairs and buggy’s where other close by restaurants have easier access. Worth a try if your first time but the experience is not great other than the food. Worth a try.

Poor service, poor food, poor experience. Should have known this would be a bad experience when on arrival no one was around to see us to a table. When we were seated and asked for a couple of beers she came back and said there was no cold beer as it had been a busy day. She then disappeared to be replaced by our 2nd waitress who gave us our warm beer and then disappeared for an eternity. When eventually our orders were placed we waited again for an extended period. We were able to see our dishes at the pass, but despite kitchen staff asking for service, they remained there for ages. Waitress number two then disappeared and a 3rd person arrived and asked if wanted anything more. - No thanks! Perhaps we arrived at a bad time, but there was a constant stream of staff ending their shifts and having innappropriate chinwags with their colleagues. On visiting the loo, it looked like a scene from Trainspotting with paper and detritus all over the floor.The general sense of this place is no one gives a f**k, or any sense of care. As a Windsor local I should have trusted my instinct and not entered. I'll never return that's for sure.

This branch of Wagamamas is located just off Windsor High Street opposite the statue of Queen Victoria at the visitor entrance to Windsor Castle. Located on the lower ground floor, it's one of the smaller branches I have visited so queues started to build from 12:30 ish. If you aren't familiar with this chain, you sit on wooden benches and can choose from ramen, fried noodle, and rice dishes which are served as they are prepared (so not everybody will start eating together). A hearty meal costing circa £10 - £14. Well worth a visit if you haven't tried before !

Wagamama is an amazing place to try new food, especially if you are visiting from abroad. They have all sorts of Japanese food and drink here and the tables and layout in the restaurant also seem quite traditional. It is a chain restaurant, but that doesn’t stop the food from bruv amazingly unique. Our food arrived within 5-7 minutes of ordering and was still hot when we received it. They cater well for allergies and are happy to remove certain components of the meal if you have any allergies or dislikes. This is definitely worth a visit if you are in Windsor or various other parts of London-simply just check Google Maps for some other Wagamama locations!

The food is pretty much the same as other restaurants of this chain, the location is also good but the restaurant itself was extremely crowded and noisy. Couldn’t wait to get away.

I have been to a few Wagamama's and this one does not disappoint. You know what you are getting and i like that consistency. This one is a stones through from the castle and because you have to go down quite a few stairs to get into the main restaurant , they have a wheelchair lift if needed ( excellent !) as a lot of restaurants in Windsor do not. The staff are fun and engaging and the facilities are always clean. There are steps up to the toilet but only two. Always a good staple on any high street and the portion sizes are really good so you never feel hungry !

Just ordered some food for a movie evening by myself, and expected good dishes as usual but my gyozas weren’t warm nor they had been steamed/cooked properly. Very disappointed, not sure I will be ordering again any time soon.

The whole Wagamamas experience is quite different. From the long school-canteen style tables to scribbling on your mats. The food is always good and reliable, the service is attentive and quick. Love it but others maybe won't.

We visited the Windsor branch and had to wait roughly 10 minutes to be seated, the restaurant was very very busy when we got a table tbe waitress 'Bagu' was serving another table but she looked over at me and said she will be with me shortly. When she came over she apologised for the wait and we ordered once the good came out she came back to check on us throughout our time in the restaurant she is very bubbly and mgt kids loved talking to her she would come over and say come on you can rest more don't give up. My son who is 3 really took a liking to Bagu and kept taking to her whilst managing the section of wags she still found tbe time to talk to my 3 kids.

Average. They completely forgot one of our dishes, the only reason being that they were busy. Slow service & other tables complaining too.

Came here knowing how delicious wagamama food is but both my partner and I were disappointed. I had the duck donburi which I often have and it was completely over powered with chili whilst my partner's duck ramen was under seasoned.

No me malinterpretes, la comida es excelente y sabrosa. Lo extraño es que nunca hacen entrantes, entonces el principal solo llega cada vez que se cocina, por lo que podría estar comiendo su plato principal a medida que aparecen las otras partes de su pedido. De todos modos, no es un problema importante ya que la comida es de primera categoría. Es el asiento que mató mi espalda. Los bancos de madera son los asientos y después de una hora de sentarse, las piernas y el trasero están adormecidos.

I am always usually a fan of Wagamamas as their food is always consistently good and delicious. Unfortunately, this evening when visiting the Windsor branch the restuarant was let down by service hence the 3 stars.

Attended with family and friends for birthday meal. Booked a table but they were not aware of a booking on arrival. Staff were helpful so didn't matter too much and sat quite quickly. Service was good and enjoyed the food as did all our party. Only two small complaints were that food ordered together came in bits which meant some people had finished before others started. I do understand that as its stir fried it comes once cooked but i do like to eat together. The other problem was with solid benches and no backs to seats it was uncomfortable to some but we were aware of this on booking so my problem but it won't make us rush back.

Cenamos allí hoy, muy decepcionados, los entrantes vinieron después de los platos principales, mis fideos soba de los hijos estaban tan cocinados que no podía comer nada, mi Utame era básicamente brotes de soja con dos gambas (sí, contamos) nuestra cuenta tardó 15 minutos antes de que notáramos que nuestro camarero salía por la puerta al final de su turno. . . . . nunca más.

E' la seconda volta che mi reco in questa catena di ristoranti e anche in questo sono stata pienamente soddisfatta. Il locale è ampio e luminoso nonostante si trovi in un interrato con vista marciapiede a pochi passi dal castello. C'è una buona varietà di piatti con anche la specifica per quelli vegetariani e vegani il tutto abbondante e ben preparato. Il mio salmon soba non era neppure molto condito ma è possibile arricchirlo con le salse al tavolo, il prezzo era proporzionato alla quantità e agli ingredienti (£ 13.75). Molto cortese e disponibile il personale. Consigliato.

Al bajar del tren en Windsor & Eton Central, vimos a Wagamama de inmediato. Recordando un buen sushi que tuvimos en la sucursal de Earl's Court hace seis años, decidimos en el lugar almorzar allí después de nuestra visita al castillo.

We have visited a few Wagamamas around the county and Maidenhead one was OK. It felt a little cramped and stuffy downstairs but generally the atmosphere was the same that you would expect in any Wagamama.

Visited on a Friday evening. Reception was good. Was seates immediately. Food was good but the portion was a little small for me. I had the Pad Thai with praws and chicken. I felt that there was not enough chicken or prawns although overall the dish was fairly tasty. My wife had Ginger Chicken Udon and she felt that there was a little too much ginger on tge dish. The service was good and the gentleman did ask if everything was OK from time to time. In summary it was a goid experience.

Having read the reviews on here, especially the most recent one. I feel the need to share my positive experience with this Wagamamas. I feel, as if people are quick to share negative experiences but never the positive ones, and these are the ones that get missed by the management.
