The best restaurants serving Italian food in Wales

Disappointment with the experience. Went during work as colleagues had raved about it. Ordered a cream cheese and salmon bagel £5.20. Not worth the over priced cost in the slightest. There was hardly any cream cheese or salmon in it. Ordering was quick, wait time was extremely long considering it’s a bagel with cream cheese. Would not order from there again.

Mi familia y yo visitamos este restaurante y bar en dos ocasiones para el desayuno y el almuerzo. Está situado en el emplazamiento en Sunnyvale Caravan Park donde nos alojábamos. Estaba impecablemente limpio y nos gustó mucho el interior. El personal era muy acogedor y amable. El desayuno era encantador y las opciones eran muy buenas. Me gustó especialmente el hecho de que sirven el pan frito. Las comidas que tenía para el almuerzo también era muy agradable. Los niños son bienvenidos y hay una encantadora zona exterior. Los precios son muy razonables. Se puede tomar una copa si no desea que cualquier comida.

Bit of a barn being based in an old bank building , but the food, staff, and service are excellent. I particularly like their rustic pizzas and cannot eat a whole one so I generally cut it in half and take it home. Somewhat of an American tradition I found in the past year. I reckon for a fast food type place it's really jolly good. Better than most pizza places in Cardiff. Permanently closed. Being replaced by one of six by Nico.

Ordered for the first time in a long time and am very disappointed. Rubbery cheap cheese with a few bits of onion thrown on top and not mixed in. Baguette is still basically raw and too doughy to eat The salad was just leaves. Not a single tomato or cucumber. It’s definitely not as good as it used to be.

The service was awful. I had requested a table at 18.30 but I was told 18.00 was the latest we could have. We had been sat for 45 minutes before we got a drink and despite telling the waitress that we were in a hurry, she still took another 10 minutes to take our orders. The music was very loud- we asked several times for it to be turned down which it was, but still far to loud to have a comfortable conversation over it. They took ages to clear our table and even longer to bring the desert menu. We were not offered a second drink and nobody asked how our food was- not even when they were clearing away half eaten plates of food. I noticed when I went to get the bill (as nobody came to me!) that on the screen takeaway orders were being dealt with. It seems that takeaways are distracting from the restaurant diners which is not fair. I am extremely disappointed with the evening.

Came in to have an evening meal and was treated so well through out the evening by all three waiters. Stunning food, attentive and genuine service and a great atmosphere! I felt like part of the family - Would definitely come back

Booked for graduation, despite being 4 days before they cancelled my booking. Was really looking forward to it as i’ve heard good reviews from other people. However, there were structural issues that could not be avoided, due to them cancelling my booking and me paying a deposit to reserve the table they ensured i would get a refund made to the same account i paid from. With multiple calls made and no email to contact there is no response. Quite gutted as we were looking forward to it, however it should not be that difficult to refund the customers who paid in advance when they could not open.

After being let down by another venue in town we decided to try the Juniper Place part of the Welsh House. Absolutely love the vibe in here; the decor, staff, great music. We had Cocktails and Pizzas. I have to say the pizzas were to die for! It's hard to find a good Calzone these days but mine was out of this world. Big shout out to Noah. I can't remember if I gave him a tip or not. I hope I did. He was fabulous as was the lovely young man behind the bar with the long hair and glasses. They made our night.

Although i ordered really late, i could tell the food was cooked fresh. Generous with portion. Delicious. Will be ordering again.

Had the most amazing meal here before heading off to a show. The staff really do know how customer service is done. Great service from the moment we arrived. Food is also very good and done very well. Would highly recommend booking as this place was almost full on a Tuesday evening in November.

We came here as we've eaten plenty of times at other restaurants and to say it was disappointing is an understatement. We were seated pretty quickly, starter delivered pretty quickly and tasted nice but then ... a 45-50 minute wait for our main meal. When it finally arrived, my partners food was OK at best but mine, the mac and cheese with N'duja was overpowered with what tasted like chilli powder and no flavour. They offered to replace it but since I'd already been sat there nearly an hour, I didn't want to wait any longer. I asked our server what the N'duja consisted of and she was clueless. I asked at the kitchen counter and they said some kind of sausage paste. There was no meat at all in it cuz it tasted like it'd been sprinkled with chilli powder. I expected a lot more from this place since I've travelled all over the country eating at these restaurants and was sadly let down.
