Decidimos probar este azul para un almuerzo rápido y sencillo. Nos dieron una cálida bienvenida y nos llevaron a nuestra mesa. Una buena selección de vinos e incluso cuando mi esposa cambió su mente de rojo a blanco como el camarero se acerca para abrir la botella, sin problemas, nos consiguió la en lugar de blanco. Fuimos a almorzar menús, con mucha variedad y se sirve rápidamente. Una atmósfera encantadora y sencilla, bonita decoración y volveremos y probar el menú de noche. Lo recomendaría!

He visitado este restaurante en varias ocasiones y nunca decepciona. Esta ocasión fue una cena y eligió a la a un menú a la carta. Tenía las fechas envuelto en jamón de Parma para comenzar este estaba delicioso y bien presentado. Para el principal elegido en la especiales del día la langosta con linguini pasta en salsa de tomate encantador, este era excelente y muy sabroso, y mucho, así que una buena relación calidad-precio. También bien presentado y buen servicio del personal amable. Elegimos una botella de sauvignon blanc chileno que complementaba la comida.

Qué puedo decir, desde el momento en que entras por la puerta me recibió la bienvenida más maravillosa. Había 8 de nosotros en total y que ya estaba ocupado, puedo ver por qué. We had a table boked for 8. The food review was mixed. Ribeye was quite good. Squid was poor. Other two meals were average. The service was ok until we were the only ones left in restaurant, we felt very uncomfortable, they were obviously putting things back as it was the end of the day but the dragging of chairs across the floor so loudly that we couldn't hear ourselves speak was a clear indication that we were in the way. It was only 9.50pm. Will not be going back.

I wouldn't recommend this particular restaurant because I thought they would have basic ham, mozzarella and tomato pure pizzas at least... NO, we get pizzas with half the toppings in the entire restaurant on. Disgraceful. The only reason they get 3 stars other than 2 is because of the service. Don't go to this restaurant because the menu is judt there to disappoint you.

Myself and my sister, came for the cookery course on Saturday 5th November.Firstly, we would like to say what a brilliant time we had. The atmosphere was relaxed, fun and very enjoyable.The course was brilliant, thank you.Secondly, you sent me the recipes for the dishes that we made and I would love to impress my family & friends, knowing that the food looks impressive, but after the course, I know that they aren't difficult!I will be recommending the cookery course to my friends, and hope to come myself at some point next year.Thanks again!!

The restaurant itself is lovely - rustic, charming, with decent spaces between the tables. Some of our group were late arriving, but staff didn't seem to mind. The food was delicious, and there is a lot of choice on the menu, plus the specials, with pizzas and pasta dishes being very reasonably priced. The starters in particular were innovative and we all found it quite hard to choose! The meat/fish dishes were delicious and, obviously, cost quite a bit more than the pasta and pizza, but sadly didn't come with any sort of potato, for example, only with vegetables. The veg was for three dishes and came served in a large dish; there didn't seem to be quite enough for the three of us. Customer service could be better - we had a very long wait for the dessert menu, although the plates from the mains had already been taken away; one staff member in particular was quite abrupt, although not rude. That said, there was nothing inherently bad, just a few points for improvement. We would go again, as we did enjoy the food and the environment,

Visited last Wednesday with my husband as we both adore Italian food and being new to the area we thought we would try it out. We were seated promptly after arrival and given menus, after about 20 seconds of looking at them they came to take our order. It felt quite rushed and the staff seemed stressed even though it wasn't overly busy. We both had the spaghetti bolognese which was nice however we both like parmesan cheese and it wasn't offered to us.When it was time for the bill we had to ask multiple times before it came and then when the money was clearly on the table they did not take it after 20 minutes and we should have had about £9 change! In the end we got up and left as we were tired of waiting! So when you go make sure you have the right change!

We visited the restaurant for the Cookery school on a Tuesday evening. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome which created a good vibe for the evening. The chef was very talented and clearly very passionate about food which made him very engaging. The food we made was absolutely delicious and overall we had a very enjoyable evening; our only criticism was that they could have been a bit more prepared as the chef spent a lot of time going around the room/kitchen trying to find certain foods for cooking. Overall a very pleasant evening.

What a fantastic morning spent at the cookery school. We started with crustini followed by figs in Parma ham, pumpkin ravioli and pear frangipani tart. Not rushed or forced conversation, good wine with the food we had just cooked and a great host.Would definitely recommend.

The lunchtime menu looked promising but chicken 'orange'was on the bone and this was not as full of meat as anticipated. Four cheese pizza was a greasy glob of chease on top of pizza bread. No sign of much else to invigorate taste buds and too heavy to finish. Starters and sweets were ok.

Visited here with friends and I have to say that sorry I wasn't impressed. I had scollops to start which was on the specials and it was £5.95 but then crossed out and raised to £6.95. It came out and was basically "2" small scallops with mash potato on top and also was pretty tasteless :(For main I also went with the specials, a seafood mixed grill. It was again expensive, about £16 and was a basket of very fishy prawns, calamari and fish with some horrible home made chips, more like roast potatoes cooked in the deep fat frier and some saffron aioli which tasted of nothing?All said and done I was left disappointed with a large bill to pay at the end.I wouldn't rush back here :(

Attended the cookery school on 22nd October. Had a great time, learnt some new skills and prepared a nice meal which we all sat down at ate at the end of the course.Twelve people were on the course, we all got on very well, it was all very simple cuisine, nothing intimidating, tasted great, the type of food you could easily replicate at home.The restaurant looks great but i can not comment on the quality of the menu because I did not try it, I will be making a booking soon but I am sure the quality is excellent.The chef who lead the course was (sorry but his name alludes me at this time) was very enthusiastic and got everybody involved as much as they wanted to.Highly recommend the course .

We had lunch here today 19th Oct '16 and was immediately impressed with the 2 course lunch menu for £11.50 which was quite extensive including a glass of wine (which was also very good). The mussel starter that I had was excellent, they provided finger bowl of lemon water and also a spoon to enable you to finish the lovely sauce which accompanied the mussels - in many restaurants I have had to ask for these. Main courses could not be faulted. Cheesecake to follow, resulting in two full, but happy diners (extra £3.00).The service off the two young men was very attentive and professional, thanks!Nice place which also has an area upstairs which is signed as the 'wine bar'.I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to others and we will be visiting again shortly, why risk anywhere else in the area when this is so good.

Established family restaurant that is consistently good with its varied daily specials menu as well as a la carte. Try their good value "early bird". Great atmosphere. Lucky to have this restaurant in our village.Sensible pricing. A god one to try if you have not yet done so.

My husband and I really enjoyed a cookery lesson at La Trattoria. We are big fans of the restaurant and my husband Tony is a very keen cook. We had a very enjoyable and informative afternoon. Very relaxed. Picked up lots of top tips and enjoyed our 3 course lunch with wine! Totally recommend it!

We have been here for dinner and also for brunch. We had a lovely dinner, but we especially like the brunch. Not a huge menu, but a few nice choices. I have had the Eggs Benedict which was very good, we have had other items as well including croissants and jam. I like sitting outside with a nice brunch and a capuccino and watching the neighborhood. Also, very nice staff and I often take a lovely piece of cake home with me when I go.

In the area business looking for somewhere to eat and came across this busy gem. Superb Italian food. Good service. Nice atmosphere in a stereotypical "trattoria" setting. Figs followed by lobster pasta from the weekly specials was a real treat. On the down side, as a lone diner, I did resent being initially offered a table that wasn't‘ even laid in the entrance area away from everyone else. Why? Overall though a very enjoyable meal. I would go again.

Had a smoke with a cup of tea. Saw a couple who ordered 5 minutes after us get served. Had another smoke. Saw another couple who ordered 15 minutes after us get served. Asked waitress. "Just being done". Okay. First other couple had left by now. Second other couple just finishing. Asked again. "Chef forgot our order". (Gave us a free cuppa.) Food arrived!!! Yes, I've had better. Mrs enjoyed baked eggs. When she asked about the bread roll she ordered, it arrived as she was almost finished. So no, I wont be going back there. But I'm sure the other two couples who were served before us might.

Went here as i pass quite often and liked the look of the place, was looking forward to something a bit different than your usual pub grub but unfortunately won't be going back.On first impressions it looks lovely the place seemed clean enough & the decor is nice.So the meal, sat down at our table and instantly had the waiter over to take drink orders OK nice quick service then before we'd even read the menu asked if we where ready to order and then again a couple of minutes after.All felt really rushed, we ordered the 2 course set menu (£12) which sounded good value, the starters where OK but the pork main I had literally looked like a peice of greasy KFC chicken - deep fried pork? Served with about 5 chips.The whole dining experience which we where looking forward to took 30 mins from entering ordering having a drink and leaving, the food was out and at the table a couple of minutes after we ordered so I'm assuming just heated up.Maybe you get a better experience from the standard menu which if so I would have rathered order from that.Felt like a waste of money to be honest won't be back.

My first visit to this local restaurant in quite some time, and I’m afraid I won’t be rushing back. We did book late, so got given a table near the toilet door, which is by no means the best location with people back and forth all the time. The quality of the food was also disappointing. I had the steak which was OK, if a little overcooked for my liking, however the vegetables were all undercooked, I couldn’t cut through the carrot and the broccoli was also too crunchy. The peppercorn sauce was gloopy - more like a gravy. The chips were too thick and not properly cooked.My dessert was just OK, but my friend ordered the apricot sorbet. It was half melted and looked like it had been standing for a while. It should not have been served.Drinks were fine and the bar area upstairs is quite nice, but next time I’ll definitely try the other Italian restaurant in Talbot Green over this.

Took team to cookery school instead of just going for our usual meal; and it worked out fantastically. We had so much fun learning to make a starter, main course and dessert, which we then ate with a well earned glass of wine! The venue is brilliant and staff friendly and passionate about cooking. Highly recommend this and will definitely do again.

My partner and I were advised to try trattoria and we had an enjoyable evening. It was very busy the staff were attentive and the food was nice. Quite a rustic casual restaurant and loud it was packed to capacity though!!! Would definitely go back again.

Had dinner here last night. The staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant is nicely decorated. They serve good Italian food and if you want to avoid a chain restaurant in Talbot Green this is a good bet. I'd say the food is good not excellent but certainly good enough for a midweek meal out. I had the steak which came with chips and potatoes (a little bit of carb overload) and my wife had pasta. The meal was reasonably priced and we'll return. They seemed busy (given that it was a Wednesday) so I'd say book ahead.

I have been patronising this restaurant under different owners for about 20 years. The last few times have been pretty poor. The starters are hugely overpriced in general, example: polpette - you get 3 small ones - the size of Swedish meatballs in half a bowl of a tomato-y sauce. The Buffalo! weighed in at around £7.50 and comprised of a few strips of prosciutto, a jungle of rocket and a huge sloppy, unfirm mozzarella ball. The aubergine stack, whilst tasty and reasonably priced was decidedly cool inside - quick reheating by the feel of it. The main pasta courses were outstanding and plentiful, the Puttanesca was hearty although a little unrefined (huge pieces of artichoke); the ragu very tasty and the carbonara looked good but had bechamel sauce in it (why??). The Fiorentina pizza was a bit of a disaster. It came served in a large bowl! There was so much cheese on it that it took away all the taste of the other ingredients - a feat in itself with the strong meats. The base was beautifully thin, but was floppy as if it had either been doused with too much liquid tomato or was not thoroughly cooked.The waiting staff were as pleasant as ever - I have always found them to be exceptionally polite and accommodating. However, we were left staring at dirty plates for over 20 minutes after each course. The dessert menus took about another 15 minutes after the plates were cleared. If the place had been packed out, one could forgive an odd slip, but it was not - this was a Wednesday evening.There seems to be a lack of management / leadership and staff are allowed to just get on with it. I am absolutely gutted - this used to be my favourite restaurant in the area and I was glad to take friends there. Will be giving this place a wide berth for a few months to see if they've sorted themselves out.

Visited La Trattoria this lunch time with 13 work colleagues. Due to a limit lunch hour we asked if we could pre-order the food. The restaurant was exceptionally accommodating with our request and when we arrived for food staff were polite, courteous and helpful. All the food was beautiful and well presented and also great value for money. Pizza's were a big hit with our group!If only we had longer than an hour - we would have taken advantage of their lunch time deal and enjoyed 3 courses in this lovely setting.
