asked for plain burger and did not get a plain burger

It was quiet due to the local weather conditions and localised flooding but the chap who attended to us was pleasant, prompt and helpful. Food was good, reasonable and just what we needed before heading to bowling across the way.

Kacey was our server and she was amazing, knowledgeable and helped me make my choice on which meal to order. Food was good.

Ben our waiter was fantastic. Efficient, friendly and lovely with our children.

I'm not blaming frankie and bennys, been ripped of by just eat, they said the driver was at the restaurant for 3 hours and wasn't, I rang frankie and bennys and they said food was done hours ago. so just eat ripped me off not the restaurant.

Kept us waiting at the front door for 10mins before telling us no tables available due to bookings which is ok… what’s not ok is 3-4 different staff members pass us completely blanking us, would of taken 2secs to pass on that info!!

Today we went and had food at Frankie and bennys and we had Tayla as our server she was so kind and helpful she knew everything off the top of her head and was very understanding of anything we had to say, she was polite and was good with conversations 10/10 recommend

Tayla our server was very professional, efficient and polite. Her knowledge of the menu was clear as she was able to recommend the steakhouse special and the giant mozzarella stick to us. My wife and I enjoyed the food and service a lot, and the kids had a lot of fun colouring while waiting for their food. Thanks Tayla!

Booked a table, arrived on time, placed the order, waited 45 minutes, asked the waiter if it’s ready. He told us it’s coming in 2 and then avoided us. I went 5 min later to check, it was just on the grill. No “sorry I forgot, no nothing”. From none of them. So if you go there, make sure to check on your food, because some of the people there won’t bother. Go up and left, can’t comment about food.

Friendly staff but such poor food no better than weatherspoons. A buttermilk burger almost £14 if you want bbq sauce on it almost £18. My wife had a bagel and it was stale.

Staff at this venue are second to none. I seldom tip, but I felt the need here due to the level of service received. Absolutely phenomenal service, noting is ever too much. The food was lovely, but mac and cheese needs some work. Lovely place, and as previously stated, the staff are amazing. Honestly, I hope they're being paid well as that level of service is above and beyond expected.

I visited the Nantgarw restaurant with my daughter and her autistic adult son. We are always made very welcome. Today was exactly the same. Our food was delicious I had the scrambled tofu brunch, my daughter the same but with eggs. My grandson the chicken strips with fries. Our waitress Beth was brilliant. So friendly and professional. She made our visit especially nice and we cannot praise her enough. She made us smile every time she came to check everything was as it should be.

The service was awful. I had requested a table at 18.30 but I was told 18.00 was the latest we could have. We had been sat for 45 minutes before we got a drink and despite telling the waitress that we were in a hurry, she still took another 10 minutes to take our orders. The music was very loud- we asked several times for it to be turned down which it was, but still far to loud to have a comfortable conversation over it. They took ages to clear our table and even longer to bring the desert menu. We were not offered a second drink and nobody asked how our food was- not even when they were clearing away half eaten plates of food. I noticed when I went to get the bill (as nobody came to me!) that on the screen takeaway orders were being dealt with. It seems that takeaways are distracting from the restaurant diners which is not fair. I am extremely disappointed with the evening.

Don't waste your time Going here. Me and my friend visited. Decor really outdated along with cutlery. When ordering from menu/drinks, 3 of the items were not available (no reason provided). The food was very plain and nothing exciting, yet still had to pay around £15 for a main. The plates it was served on seemed like you were at a kids party. Toilet seats were broken and unhygienic. Very dissapointed. Would rather spend my £15 on a takeaway and stay in. Highly recommend not going. 29/09/2024

Came here this evening (my partner and I frequent other F&B). We were seated pretty quick, got our starter then a 45-50 minute wait for our main course. My partner exclaimed that the spaghetti bolognese wasn't great but my own meal tasted like they'd poured half a jar of chilli powder over it. Our server was clueless cuz I asked her what the N'duja was meant to be and her reply was "I've no idea. I'd never heard of it before working here." They offered to make me something else but after being there for almost an hour already, I didn't want to wait. £48 for a meal that took forever to arrive and then scalded my mouth from the seasoning. I sure as heck won't be going back there.

It's OK here but the food is expensive for what it is. My daughter a pizza and discovered a long black hair baked into the crust. I complained and they said they'd take it off the bill. (They didn't seem to care very much tbh). When I said this wasn't good enough they took the drinks off the ordered. Not going back.

Went for my daughter’s birthday the portion size was shocking! Kids were still hungry after leaving. Big eaters kids meal literally had 11 of the smallest French fries I had to count I was that shocked. No offer of the kids drinks or desserts which was paid for with the kids menu. Spent over £50 and wish we’d stayed in and saved the money.

Food was beautiful. Our server Tom was fantastic. It was our sons 18th birthday, and they brought his waffle over with candles in, and sang him happy birthday.
