Excellent place. The staff here is highly friendly and professional especially Hassan. He always meets with a smile and makes sure to give excellent service.Their Cheesecakes are a must try. All in all it is a must try place. Highly recommend.

The owner of the shop is always in worst attitude and never smile on face... Milkshake is always tasteless ... Will never recommended and will never visit again ...

I have visited sweetbox number of times and there are very different desserts and sweet treats available each time. They always have new ideas for customers to try and the taste is delicious of each freshly prepared dish. They are light and not heavy to indulge in. Lately I ordered dessert boxes to gift my family and my family really enjoyed them , especially my daughter who hugged me and kissed me tight - ☺️ alhamdulillah. Always good to make family happy. Thankyou sweetbox, we look forward to visiting and exploring your future dessert inventions . 🫡

Don’t try falooda from there’s menu , they don’t know what is falooda!

I ordered 4 types of donut, two came fresh and warm and two came stale and hard. Gutting as the two fresh ones were really good.

It was my first time here with my family and I am shocked with this experience. Me and my family usually get the milkshakes waffles and sometimes some ice cream. When we got our food there was a strand of long black hair by the side of the waffle and we threw it away because of how unhygienic it was. The food was very overpriced and I wouldn't recommend this place. Kaspas would have never disappointed me and from now on sticking with them since day 1.

I had an awesome time at Sweet Box Restaurant! The staff was super friendly and made me feel right at home. The ice cream was so good—creamy, sweet, and packed with flavor. Seriously I never been here always go to Kaspas. what we want they dont have so we decideded to go sweet box and regretting why we never try this before please people try to go other businesses aswell. Taste was soo good and everything was 👍 we all loved it and will come again.

Terrible customer service, bought cakes from there and found a long black hair in the food. (Neither of us who had the cakes have long black hair). The manager refused to take any accountability not even an apology and was rude. Don’t recommend unless you like hair in your food

Came here yesterday, wish I hadn't normally go kaspa but it unfortunately shut atm, 3 things we asked for of menu were not available, hardly any decent selection of ice- cream was available as had 'Finished'. Ordered kebab roll came out with just oreo and cream no chocolate kebab bits when inquired was told had put it on but seems to have 'melted' 🤣😂 Milkshake was nice although could not do ice-cream milkshake as the oreo ice-cream has finished!! Edit: Kebab roll was NOT remade just flake bits added after I had complained that there is no bits of chocolate. No rainbow cake or lava cake available when asked. As I paid for the items which I was not happy with, hence the review.

Delicious desserts and great service

I’ve ordered from here a couple times before (always in store this was my first time doing just eat) me and my friend decided to buy the fondue. However, when we looked at the order the portion sizes were tiny. For something that costs £18 quid (£9 if you split it) it’s not worth the price. Would have been cheaper to make it ourselves. Will probably not order again

One of the worst places to go in cardiff. Rude staff… The lady at the cashier said us they are closed and after we left she was serving few lads who walked in. I asked how come that she said it’s closed for me and that she is serving other customers. She was complaining to me with an attitude saying that I didn’t ask for takeaway. I would never recommend this place to anyone until the lady at the cashier is changed. I too run a restaurant, I would never keep a staff like that to face the customer no matter how long she has worked, this place is going to run out of business and customers soon.

How they can charge £3 for a scoop of ice cream!! I thought it was a joke!

Came to Cardiff for a night children wanted this as a treat ordered at 9.05pm said delivery was 10 ok a Friday night called at 10.15 to ask where delivery was to be cut off to call back to be updated driver was on way. Rubbish I waited in hotel reception for another 45 mins after 3 more calls to sweet box mobile number just to have no answer very unhelpful staff then tracked went to delivered online 15 min later updated to delivering they are terrible service wouldn’t waste time and icecream was

If i could give 0 stars i would. Rude staff, long waiting time, shop was not clean, dessert was horrible. Don’t waste your money here, there’s better desert places on the same road

Ordered a mango smoothie for mrs and asked for a small plastic cup to keep my baby happy. Really could have saved a unnecessary argument you have a shop full of cups and said we don't have cups was also willing to pay extra. Little things make a world of difference 😒

I ordered online from Here and must admit every time I open the box of donuts 🍩 a smile is on my face they look amazing and toppings and sauce are plentiful. Please give these guys a try if your looking to get messy in front of the t.v

I have been going to sweetbox regularly for a few years now. And they are always very welcoming and provide good service. The food is always lovely. And the prices are very reasonable!

Genuinely one of the best dessert shops in Cardiff! Good value for money, lovely staff, great music and very convenient opening hours especially as I get off work late! We will be back!

A special treat for my daughter and the host was attentive to my daughter and made us feel welcome. We picked ice cream shakes, which were so tasty! The triple chocolate fudge cake is one of the best cakes I’ve had (no sickly aftertaste). Generous portions and overall service was great!

I had the unfortunate misfortune of trying out Sweet Box Shop,It's take so long do get what you order and it was an absolute letdown. The treats were stale, tasteless, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for quality sweets. Save your money and go elsewhere!

Ordered the cookie dough and a mars milkshake. Cookie dough was a solid baked mass and the milkshake was awful. Don’t even bother wasting your money.

It's actually cheaper than Creams, so that's a big plus because they pretty similar in size and taste. One of my favourites.

I had the pleasure of visiting Sweet Box Cardiff recently, and I must say that the service provided by one of their workers was simply outstanding. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm for helping me find the perfect sweet treats.

They put covers of bad songs. ATLEAST PUT THE ACTUAL ARTIST YOU ARENT GONNA GET COPYRIGHTED. Ur light also doesn’t work btw.

I wish I could give 0 star such a rude staff, taking ages to prepare order they talking in native language with each other's laughing , once being asked about order starts arguing me that don't come if you don't want to wait, disgusting.... Update; reply to the owner; I don't know what you talking about but keep in mind don't harass and threaten anyone give negative reviews i see everyone reviews and your threatening replies, however you can look after your stuff whos ruined your business and every reviewer had problems of bad customers service you should look after this not who I'm who I'm not.

Cardiff is a 30 minute drive from home for us, and every time me and my family come here, we are always served with the best quality desserts and customer service. Staff is always friendly, kind and helpful. We have tried the waffles, ice cream rolls (my favourite being the strawberries and nutella one), ice cream cones/cups etc and they are all always delicious! Never had a bad experience. It can get quite busy sometimes, but it is worth the wait. Would 100% recommend to everyone. If I lived in Cardiff, I would be at SweetBox every day😅

All I can say is wow, the cookie dough was beautiful! The slush was full of flavour, the donuts look too good to eat, the whippy ice cream was so so tasty! My partner said the Oreo milkshake and lotus sundae was very tasty, we already can’t wait to order from here again, the delivery time was 10 minutes later than expected but it was worth the wait🫶

Me and my partner came here at during evening time as he wanted to go out for dessert while I wanted a bubble tea which this place had both! He had the king royale waffle which was huge! It came with ice cream and whipped cream. He also had a aero milkshake which tasted minty and delicious. I had a kiwi bubble tea and mango popping balls which was delicious and a mini melt. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because the mini melts did not come in a hat they usually come in.

I would have given it a 5 stars, but the thing that didn't want me to do that was the fact that despite having a small order it took a lot of time for it to be made for example I ordered 2 cookie doughs and was told It would take about 12 minutes I waited for more than 15 minutes and my order was still not completed then finally after about 20 minutes I received my order. This was very frustrating as there were places I had to be.

Was a regular customer to this establishment until today, thought I’d try something new today and order the Reeses freeze that they love to advertise. A huge disappointment, I took a few sips and asked politely for a refund straight away. The staff member clearly seeing that I barely drank any of it still said there was nothing he could do. Not even an exchange offered, definitely the last time I come to this place. What a shame if only the staff displayed some better customer service skills they would’ve saved a regular customer, oh well.

Ive been a regular at Sweetbox for a real long time and il always keep coming back! The kebab roll has to be my favourite and they are always so generous with toppings and sauces! Great value for money, a wide selection of dessert to choose from! Highly recommend!

I like this place, it is clean and luxury, love the ice cream especially the sundae. However, waffles are bad! I went yesterday with a group of friends and order two waffles one Strawnana and one Roucher Waffle. Both were burned from the bottom and were very hard to cut and swallow and the taste of burned waffle was very obvious! I wanted to speak to the staff but my friend didn’t let me do as even though the waffle were bad, we liked the toppings and said it could be just a bad day and it is late at night so staff could be tired from work and didn’t pay attention!

We had a range of desserts. Waffle, crepe, sundae, ice cream rolls. All of them looked and tasted amazing!

My most favourite desert place so far!! The red velvet is almost as beautiful as cotsco's, but it tasted amazing and tasted like it's homemade😍 Milkshakes are absolute heaven and my partner loved her waffle! Will be back again soon!

Absolutely terrible. Ordered pancakes and they look like they was frozen and microwaved. Arrived 15 minutes late and got a text saying it had arrived 10 minutes earlier than it actually did. They came stone cold. Do not order from here.

Food was so cold, the fondue for £15 I wouldn’t even bother, 4 tiny tubs no effort put into it what so ever, the delivery driver was moody. Will never order from here again

Being a dessert fanatic and a foodie, decided to buy cookie dough from Sweetbox. Ordered the double chocolate chip cookie dough which took around 25 minutes which was okay as the place was crowded with low staff levels. However, the excitement and wait went wasted as the cookie dough seemed like a biscuit with just a little sprinkle of chocolate sauce on top = It wasn't what it was supposed to be! I appreciate the woman in scarf and recall her telling the owner that the cookie dough is not being baked properly when it took such a wait and that it was a 'double chocolate chip cookie dough' when the chocolate sauce was being poured which infact relates that it was not served to perfection and it was disappointing that it was ignored. Customers should be served in the best way possible as they are the ones paying to keep the business alive! I like this place overall with the variety offered but this experience was disastrous. Ambience: 10/10 Hygiene: 10/10 Taste: 5/10 Quality: 5/10 Presentation: 4/10 Service: 7/10

Never again ..71 minute wait for desserts on a Sunday night ..!!? App showed driver in shop long before he got here then dearest part buieno white waffle missing so 71 minutes for a icecream and shake !!? Phoned up to be told driver must of ate it ! I hate that passing blame because they didn't put it in bag the driver got here quick on a bike so how he managed to eat a messy big waffle is pure talent according to man on phone the drivers do it all the time i suggest stapling bag then like other shops do personally not interested in excuses didnt try to solve just BLAME ANYONE EVERYTHING WONT ORDER AGAIN AND WONT RECOMMEND AS OBVIOUSLY COULDNT DO ORDER OR APOLOGISE OR GET DRINK AND ICECREAM DONE IN HOUR SHOCKING !!! First and last time I’m ordering from here. I had an item missing, the banana ice cream was not banana was toffee?? And the waffles was smashed to bits. I wish I could upload a picture to show you the mess this order arrived in will be leaving a bad google review

My ice cream sundae was gorgeous (excellent quality ice cream as it was very creamy). The child’s portion is more than enough for someone who wants to satisfy a sweet tooth without feeling too full afterwards. Would highly recommend to families who fancy a treat or teens/students who fancy a midnight snack with their friends/flatmates!

Ordered a Ferrero milkshake and tasted gone off. Asked for a refund or swap but the girl spoke with the owner on the phone and he wouldn’t give a refund or swap for something else. They also took the milkshake back so sat there with no dessert or milkshake. I’ve tried milkshakes from loads of other places and this was the worst around. Not worth the wait or visit. Heard what the owner is like and how his “excellent customer service” is like

This shop is so amazing. There was so many selections of different flavours and smells. The shop was so clean and the food was really tasty. Their food had so many flavours and it was overall amazing. Lovely shop you should definitely visit.

We went to Sweetbox today for desserts, first we were absolutely amazed at the menu soo many choices available which made choosing the desserts very hard. We tried a variety of different ones. A shake, waffles, cookie dough, mochi, chocolate kebab and ice cream rolls. It was all soo scrumptious and beautifully presented we were astounded. We have tried a few other places on City Road but Sweetbox by far is the best and definitely very fairly priced, we will definitely be making lots more trips in the holidays. The staff were all very polite and friendly and nothing was to to much for them, the desserts were all served together in quick time. The decor is so cute they even have a little selfie area for beautiful snaps. Thank you so much. We will see you again very soon 😍

Exquisite, awesome and stunning desserts!! We had an end of term treat with the colleagues at Sweetbox, 20 of us altogether. Staff were very accommodating. Gorgeous atmosphere. Amazing feedback from everyone. They made our last day very special & memorable. Will definitely come back with the family.
