Little Italy

Aberystwyth Canol/Central, Ceredigion, 20-30£
10/06/2019: This is a great place for an Italian meal. The food is fantastic and the service is very friendly indeed. The waitress we had on both occasions we’ve been was really helpful and nothing was any trouble at all for her. Everything is really fresh and there is plenty to eat but what you can’t you can always take away.
03/06/2019: I was pleasantly surprised at the good restaurants in this relatively small town (I am also thinking of the Casablanca). Incredible service and food. It is a popular place because it does the job.

La Terrazza

Newtown East, Powys
17/05/2019: Visited here on a recent trip with work. Newtown is a small town but the 2 restaurants we ate in were both lovely. I love Italian food and the food here is delicious. The service was also good, very friendly waiter. The crispy potatoes here are a must try. It was a lovely find in this little town.
16/05/2019: Decor was tired, chairs had no bottoms in most and what did where ripped. Food very little on plate, tasteless and lipe lettuce, flat coke and very rude BO owner.

La Calabria

Llandysul Town, Ceredigion
09/06/2019: Our first visit to La Calabria - definitely won't be our last! The décor is lovely and it has a really cosy feeling - hard to achieve given the high ceilings! The food is lovely - the salmon linguine was really REALLY tasty. Good value for money. Service is efficient and quicky - staff are polite and friendly.
02/06/2019: The entrance is very dowdy, needs a good tidy up, dead plants and weeds outside not a good look, very shabby.

Roberto's Italian Restaurant

St. Mary, Powys, 20-30£
31/08/2015: Excellent little place, glad we phoned, lots of people turned away. Food freshly prepared and nicely presented. Two server's one far better than the other which let down the front of house. We enjoyed our meals.
30/08/2015: Went here with family on a Friday evening it wasn't full but had a good atmosphere we had to wait some time to have our order taken when we did manage to get the waitresses attention she apologised & said she had forgot about us as it's been busy I had the Italian breads toasted with chefs topping to start when it arrived it was 2 small squares of ciabatta with melted mozzarella & a garnish of pre packed salad leaves posh cheese on toast !!!! the other starters were tomato basil soup & calamari again served with bagged salad for main course I had a plank you could have meat fish or veg I opted for meat it was a plank of wood with olives & pickles a selection of cured meats onion marmalade Italian bread oil & balsamic vinegar it looked good & tasted great the lasagne & other pasta dishes again served with a bagged salad were fine also . for dessert I had homemade chocolate & hazelnut cheese cake very nice & soft the tirrimasu was also good. We had a pleasant evening in this small restaurant not what I would authentic Italian but nice anyway

Little Italy

Aberystwyth Canol/Central, Ceredigion, <20£
13/06/2019: We dined here this week whilst visiting Aberystwyth. Although we expected it to be quiet midweek I had reserved a table anyway. Maybe that was good as the restaurant was very full, I'd recommend doing the same if you plan to eat here.
03/03/2019: We called in for an impromptu birthday meal, no reservation but they found us a table. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was fine. I found it a bit pricey for what was, basically, a bowl of pasta. But then I am tighter than a gnat's chuff. The cheesy garlic bread was my favourite bit of the meal, apart from the wine of course!
