The food was a long time coming we didn’t mind too much as they were busy. My sister and I had Lasagna and my niece had the meatballs we also had a cheese garlic bread. The Lasagna wasn’t the best it had hardly any meat in it or pasta just overwhelming tomato. I was half way through mine my sister had only just started as it was very hot and we were chatting. My sister had a long black hair in hers which put us all off our food. The garlic bread was full of garlic oil making it very greasy. They did offer to replace the Lasagna but my sister declined they took the meal price off the bill and gave her another coke. It was very noisy in there and lots of children. I don’t think I will return as it is very overpriced and food standard is not what it used to be.

Fancied a pizza after a long drive to Wales. We were greeted with a warm smile and upon ordering we were given some garlic dough balls compliments of the chef - these were really delicious. The pizza was tasty - the tomato sauce was tangy yet sweet. The base was more bread like that a traditional Italian sour dough pizza but still enjoyable. The chill oil was also homemade and was full of flavour, one of the best chilli oils I’ve eaten. Really reasonably priced. Under £30 for 2 people. Great for a quick cheap bite.

Tastefully furnished hotel and bistro on new wharf area on Mumbles seafront. Friendly check in and very stylish decor with a seaside theme. Room was spacious but overlooked road rather than sea. Comfy large bed with quality linen and towels, high quality fitments, hospitality tray including fresh milk in fridge, art deco bath, fabulous rain shower and Bramley toiletries (but Welsh ones might be more appropriate). We'd suggest a couple of tweaks - the plug is too far away from the mirror to comfortably use the hairdryer, may be impractical to move plug but mirror could be moved nearer to plug. Lid of toilet is damaging the bathroom wall, very unstable wi-fi and unnecessarily complicated tv, we weren't able to access any terrestrial channels but got I-player through the open account of a previous guest. Breakfast was included, but the menus have prices and no indication of what a B&B guest is entitled to. There were plenty of staff standing around but service appeared untrained, we had to ask for juice, no options were offered, we asked about cereal and were told this wasn't available although we could have cornflakes! No toast was provided, and we sat for 20 minutes and nobody cleared our empty plates or offered anything else so we gave up and left. Tables were left uncleared and staff stood far away by bar rather than circulating around, clearing tables, offering refills or asking if people needed anything. A one- course breakfast with no tea or coffee refills doesn't reflect good value or the level of service boutique hotel customers expect. Considering we paid over £200 B&B it was annoying to have no free or even subsidised parking, the website says £17 for 24 hours, but from 1 July the council no longer offers 24 hour parking, so if you check in at 3pm and out at 11am the following day you need to pay £8 from 3pm to 11pm and then a further £12 for 11pm to 11am, and parking availability is limited as many spaces are closed due to building works. I would suggest all Mumbles venues protest to the council about this additional barrier to the hospitality industry. Great location and lovely hotel, but they need to improve the professionalism of service to reflect the boutique hotel vibe they are going for.

A very disappointing evening overall. My daughter’s chicken Katsu burger was good but the fish and chips were NOT good. The fish was dry and overcooked with a thin coating of batter, it looked unappealing and was dry and chewy. They did replace the fish when I explained the problem but unfortunately the replacement piece of fish looked equally unappealing with black bits of burnt batter on it, it was also overcooked and not enjoyable to eat. Sadly we will not be returning.

Arrived on Saturday to try the new buffet menu. What more can you ask for? Think we paid £7.95 all you can eat. Loved the fact you just pay one price and then help yourself. No waiting to be served etc Plenty of choice for all... Pizzas Meatballs Bolognese Chicken wings Nuggets Chips Etc. No complaints. we all left satisfied and it didn't break bank which is s bonus. Lovely casual place with good decor. Will be back!

Absolutely disgusted at the state of my pizza I ordered. It was burnt the top of the pizza was black. Rang the shop to say my pizza is black and it will not be eaten. To be told that the oven is set at a heat and tough. Pizza was thrown in the bin. Never in my life have I seen a pizza so burnt.

0 / 10 no volverá.
