The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Quite disappointed as the menu had changed from the last few times my daughter and I have visited. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful but the menu (the main part) let the night down.

Fab lasagne, as always. Really friendly staff.

Excellent calzone and delicious soup. Friendly staff and quick service. A lovely meal in a good restaurant.

The price is £11.99 all you can eat. Reasonable. Pizza is on thick side and doughy. Freshly made but becomes room temperature. The water glasses needed to be better washed as there is film on outside. Diners were using same plates for refill. Tongs were touching the dirty plates. Ummm. Nooo. There was no follow up service. The staff was working hard as restaurant was understaffed. Salad bar was decent. Other dishes were so-so. Techno music played. Some younger crowd was but loud and classless

Food was amazing.. Pasta al dente, fresh bread and succulent chicken. Service wasn't up to standard. We stood for 5 minutes at the door and then told sit where we wanted and we'll bring menus. Wasn't very busy just looked unorganised. Ended up with 2 servers asking similar questions, which is fine but doesn't give confidence. I do like the billing system where you can scan the QR and pay your bill

Booked a table, sat down to enjoy a very nice meal.food is excellent.never been given a time limit, after 40mins we were asked did we want anything else,because they wanted the table, we asked for two coffees, which was the worst coffee we have ever had.before we had drunk the coffee the bill Was put on the table, told so not to waste any time, I paid the bill and the receipt was literally thrown onto the table. Management is disgraceful.we will never return, and that’s a shame the food was lovely.

There are no napkins at all on the salt. The coffee is not very high quality. But for the village it will do.

Such a gorgeous a place and gorgeous food :) love coming here to eat. Atmosphere is relaxed yet sophisticated. Always a pleasurable dining experience :)

A distanza di un anno non posso che confermare la mia precedente valutazione. La cucina rimane ad un livello molto buono, con piatti generalmente ben preparati: molto buona una soup singaporeana piccante al punto giusto e ricca di ingredienti; anche il granchio fritto è consigliabile come i dim sun; un po’ banali gli spiedini di pollo. Ottimo chardonnay australiano suggerito da una gentile cameriera. Suggerisco di prenotare perché è sempre molto affollato. Consigliato

Lovely restaurant on the river front serving delicious food served by wonderful staff

Stopped off on our way to Challaborough. We have been here a few times and the atmosphere is always inviting, the prices are good and the staff are very friendly.

Really good food, just a shame the padded seating is looking tatty in places.
