Disappointing birthday celebration meal for my wife. While the service was good and the atmosphere was OK the food was poor. The main couses were disappointing. The lasagne my wife ordered was particularly poor. It lacked meat, and the dish was swimming in oil. The dish was so poor, my wife only ate a couple of mouthfuls , and then we swapped dishes she had some of my Betullas pasta. I got half way through the lasagne but gave up. It made such a poor impact I didn't want to eat anything else.

For years this was myself and my wife’s favourite Italian restaurant in all of London. We have been going consistently for approximately 5 years. The last few times we went, we noticed the quality had declined. It took 3 visits for us to verify that it wasn’t “just a bad night” as any establishment may experience. The Paccheri Con Zucchini, Salsiccia E Burrata used to be my wife’s favourite pasta dish EVER. But unfortunately they have now changed this completely. I can only assume that there is a new chef. It is really disappointing and i hope they manage to turn it round to its former glory. The pizza’s are still good but have suffered cost cutting measures. One last thing, they need to do something about the draft in the restaurant. There are two doors at the entrance, one is permanently open and the second doesn’t close properly. This has resulted in cool air running through, forcing many customers having to wear coats. This should be an easy fix by fitting spring in front of door.

Just the most disappointing experience I've ever had in a restaurant. We were a table of around 20 people and given a strict timeslot with which to enjoy our meal which was highlighted in advance. We were informed the day before that we had to knock off 15 minutes (so 1 hr 45 mins in total)due to us having a guest with a wheelchair to give time to replace a chair, first red flag!!! As requested we preoreded our meals yet it took over 30 minutes for any food to arrive, cutting into our tine severely and leaving about an hour max to have the entire meal. As we were ordered desserts and coffess, one of the waiters(who seemed moody and disinterested from the moment we arrived)whipped the menus away from a fellow waitress and shouted that we had to leave. Most of us were in shock as it came out of nowehere and I personally just got up and out of there quickly as was trying to avoid reacting and having been a designated driver was fully switched on to what was happening. Our 4 year old nephew was left hysterically crying as his patents had to tell him he couldn't have the promised ice cream, just awful to see. We took our 4 and 6 year olds over the road to the Co-op for their dessertsto eat on the street, just ridiculous really on a freezing cold night. All this and the food itself was largely disappointing, nuked ribs (only 2 of them and mostly fat) and a nuked lasagna, tasty but as with the ribs clearly thrown in a microwave of some sort as they were hotter than anything you'd get in an oven. Such a disappointment for a family meal with 3 local generations meeting for the a rare time, attempting to spend serious money and ultimately being treated like dirt to turn tables quickly. A little 10 minute warning or an option to finish drinks/desserts in the bar area woud have been fine but instead treated like criminals. Worst restaurant experience I have had in my whole life. Not one word of apology. Terrible, if I could give 0 stars I would.

Something gone wrong with this place, one time favourite for good Italian. Now the usual rubber garlic bread like all the other take aways in chorley, Lasagne-hardly any pasta, Sloppy with huge lumps of mince, Spag bog chillied up. Disappointed. I liked the starter though.

Delicious meal. Started with the mussels in a lovely sauce, was enough to share with a light garlic bread. Followed by the best tuna steak I’ve ever had. Husband had chicken millinaise and then we only had room to share a tiramisu. All washed down by a nice bottle of their house red. Lovely owner who found us a romantic little corner and chatted to us.

Went this evening with my girlfriend, we had large Trebbiano, cider, gorgonzola mushrooms, risotto gamberoni and pancetta, the pizza with meatballs, vanilla ice-cream and single espresso...service was nice, food was good, I only didn't like the pizza but that's just my personal taste, my girlfriend loved it..spent 58.20£ which I think is a very good price, will definitely be back thank you

Really Lovely and accommodating staff and brilliant food. It is a small business, so wait times can be longer when it's full, but still well worth it! Group gatherings can be a bit more difficult as we found the manager hadn't really given our requests to the staff on the day and it was a bit stressful. But the staff who were in still did all they could to help solve the situation and made it a wonderful experience nonetheless!

My waitress was this pretty brunette girl. Must say, she gave me the best service with how warm she was towards myself and my friends. Dead chatty and just an overall really kind person. Her boyfriend must be lucky! She gave us recommendations for food and drink and even what to do in the surrounding area! This helped a lot as we’re not from round here. Will be returning again!

I ordered a Fiorentina pizza for collection. It was ready on arrival and piping hot. The base was well cooked: some depth but not too thick, with a lovely crisp crust. The egg, spinach and slight saltiness from the olives were a lovely combination. Very tasty!
