Very cosy and beautiful place. Delicious food, quick services and friendly staffs.

The food is incredible with the best veal I've ever tasted. Regrettably, our meal was entirely ruined by terrible service at the hands of one obnoxious waiter who was condescending and rude in every contact with our table. He singled out my wife for criticism multiple times for ordering food (that they offer) that "isn't Italian", giving her a "history lesson" and making her cry, later went on to tell us we had to keep our used cutlery from our starter "because of COVID" (no restaurant does that), and then repeatedly embarrassed my wife for not finishing her meal (she has a small appetite and this was a big portion). Despite her begging me not to intervene I couldn't help but complain to his manager, Matteo, who was absolutely lovely and promised me this guy would be dealt with. I hope so, as even while we complained this horrible man hovered near our table, glaring at us, then stalked us to the door when we left, trying to intimidate me and my wife when we were forced to walk past him. I again spoke to the manager who reassured us this waiter would be dealt with. This kind of aggression is unacceptable and I'd hate for other paying customers to miss out on the excellent food on offer because of one toxic human being. We spent nearly £80 only to be treated like dirt. They do not need arrogant people like this on their wait staff. Unacceptable.

I've been to La Nonna with friends to celebray a bithday and the staff was friendly, polite and very patient.The food was simply amazing. Very good portion of excellent quality food.The restaurant was also very clean.A must try if you want Italian food.

I went here tonight with my boyfriend and we had the best time!!! I ordered the gnocchi and it was delicious but the staff were my favourite part of the evening, they were so lovely and fun. We live up the road and this will definitely become our regular. Such a good night.

Was told Minestrone was the soup of the day, when it arrived it was badly cooked vegetables in water, there was no beans or pasta in the soup. Just vegetables in bland water. The manager asked if we didn't like it as we hadn't eaten it, when we told him what we thought he said 'okay' and walked away. Had steak for main, it had no flavor and the potatoes were under cooked and cold, the peppercorn sauce tasted more like gravy. I would not recommend it and it was a huge waste of money.

Always a warm welcome and the food is lovely.

Mains was tasty, we didn't really enjoy the starters and the soft drinks were flat, bit of bill shock in the end, service was very good but before entering we asked about gluten free options etc but once in and when ordering then got very different answers, overall was ok but not worth the price we paid compared with other similar joints (£95 for 2 adults, 2 kids, only soft drinks no desserts)

Me and my partner went out for dinner at la nonnas in Wimbledon.A truly amazing night, friendly service and the food was mouth watering. Waiter was very friendly and chatty and we felt that our customer was appreciated. We had a lovely evening and atmosphere was great. We will definitely go again. It’s a hidden gem in Wimbledon town centre.

El personal siempre fue acogedor cada vez que entramos y siempre se aseguró de que todo estuviera bien.El último día fue una de las mejores noches porque hubo más gente y dos celebraciones de cumpleaños. Uno de los miembros del personal me deseó buena suerte para mis exámenes, que era el propósito de permanecer en el área y también le ofreció bebidas a mi mamá en la casa. Nos reímos mucho.Con este momento difícil, espero que el restaurante permanezca abierto para poder visitarlo la próxima vez.

Tonight was my first visit to this local Italian. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the service most of all, the food was okay but not amazing. I arrived with a table of 2 and after being seated with the menus it took about 15 minutes of waiting to even order drinks I had to ask one of the 4 waiters that frequently passed out table without noticing us. We ordered a wine, soup, pasta and a steak. The wine came about 10 minutes later and only a brief moment before the main dishes came and it was warm(the white wine), the waitress acknowledged this when handing it over and said she would bring a wine cooler - she did but it was warmer than the wine bottle and had no ice or water in so did nothing. I later asked for some ice cubes to put in our wine glasses. They then gave us our mains and missed our starters. So we didn't even get the soup. I told them this and we just sort of had no option but eat the main without having the starter so didn't get our starters. They didn't give me a steak knife either which I had to ask for. The waiters all seemed to have an argument about what had happened on our table which wasn't very nice to watch and listen to. The waiter than came over and told us the soup would be removed from the bill The food was good, but based on service I wouldn't return. I was sat right in the pathway of all the waiters going to the bar to collect drinks and food yet we were nearly entirely ignored by waiting staff and had to ask for their attention every step of the way. They charged a higher than normal service fee (which I'd normally be happy to pay but the restaurant should have removed this for us or at least made right the situation while I was there) I felt that they just sort of didn't really show remorse to us and it was more important to them to argue and blame each other.

Used to come all the time but place has really gone down hill. My wife ordered steak and it was cold so they took it back and it came back burnt. When they said how is it my wife said look at it and the waiter said oh I’m sorry. Then came back and said the chef won’t cook you another one choose something else. Not been back since and we were good customers.

Visited with a group of 12, 6 adults & 6 children. Absolutely brilliant service by such friendly staff. The food was amazing and tasted so fresh and full of flavour. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone

The carbonara sauce is lovely and creamy. However the mushroom one is bland. When you use Top City Bites for a small discount the portion is awfully small and barely any pancatta in the carbonara compared to paying full price. Please let customers know that before buying or don't do the offer at all as it is a platform they choose to advertise on.

Whenever we have the chance to visit, we do. We love a good italian meal, but an authentic one! The gnocchi and the burrata are the closest you can get to an Italian dish in London!

Nice restaurant with good food and friendly service

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. We found the food to be of high quality and especially the fillet steak which was one of the best I have had. Our waiter Alex was very helpful and attentive. Will definitely go again.

Great food great service. We went to theatre and didnt get back to the restaurant until 10.30pm and they still sat and served us.

Lasagna came to be Souer tomato soup. Sardines for starter came rare half done. Just pass it as is not worth to step in bred focaccia 5£ dry bred in basket 3£ 12.5% on the top makes it untasty expensive feel So disappointed .

A golden nugget towards the South Wimbledon end of the High Street. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. The food is to die for, and if you do have any dietary requirements just let them know (preferably in advance) and they will make every effort to ensure you have the same enjoyable experience as the rest of the diners. This is my goto Italian whether it is a quick visit when going to the theatre or a long drawn out visit for a celebration the service is always the same. Good food and lovely staff. Would highly recommend this venue and yes they do cater for children.

This restaurant is amazing. My family and I came here for the first time last week and were so pleased with the quality of the food, the service and price range. The stake fillet was our best main and the homemade banoffee pie was absolutely divine. Everyone should stop by because the atmosphere is so peaceful and welcoming.

Scrivere ristorante italiano nell'insegna di un ristorante londinese secondo me porta grandissime responsabilità. La cucina italiana rappresenta l'eccellenza in tutto il mondo, e questo ristorante non è all'altezza di quella scritta, ma nonostante tutto do 3 stelle perché la pizza anche se molto lontana dalla vera pizza Italiana non era poi così male.

This place is a hidden gem. The food & wine is phenomenal every time I go. The best Gnocchi I've ever had in my life. On top of that, the staff are always super welcoming and really great fun! They can sing, play the saxophone and do magic card tricks! Love it here!

Un cadre italien où l' on parle italien ou anglais avec un accent italien.Malgré notre arrivée sans réservation,nous avons été prise en charge et installée immédiatement. Notre repas nous a été servi rapidement avec toujours un petit mot pour savoir si tout allait bien. Nous étions arrivés dans un restaurant peu rempli et avons constaté l' arrivée de 2 groupes de touristes (15 personnes).ni.jne ni deux la Patronne avec son équipe a trouvé des places pour tout le monde sans gêner les autre clients. BRAVO!!!Repas qui était très bon et à prix a abordable.un très bon souvenir

Best Italian Food in Wimbledon!

If you can get over the over-the-top atmosphere, the pasta is great. Had excellent lasagna and spaghetti bolognese. The tomato sauce is outstanding. Great prices as well. Music is very upbeat and loud. Various pop and ‘’Italian” classics and “happy birthday”. The decor is very stereotypical Italian. If you can deal with the busyness and music volume, the food is worth it.

Having gone here as a small group to catch up, this place was very, very noisy. We were placed on the stage area which meant that the waiters/waitresses kept missing us when it came to ordering. As the place as packed the food took some time to arrive and was pretty average although not cheaply priced. The acoustics in the building were horrendous and this coupled with the very loud music made holding a discussion really hard work. Towards the end of the evening the music was cranked up really loudly and despite us asking the staff to turn it down, it was then turned up louder. It was shortly after this we left.Not sure what I expected but I was somewhat disappointed overall with this Broadway Italian restaurant.

Went yesterday with my husband and mother in law. Food was bland and tasteless. All 3 of us ordered a pasta. My husband found a hair in his food. But didn’t complain. He didn’t want to be rude. But then they charged us 50p extra. For “extra” chillies. How many extra chillies could there have been in there?! 1 or 2?! We had profiteroles for dessert. The actual choux choux pastry itself was dry. Like it was stale. Bill came to over £70! I was shocked. They charged 12.5% service charge. Got a free linen cello though. Staff are friendly. And the interior and decor is good. Good music. But wouldn’t return based on everything else.

I visited here with my husband at the end of September. We had an amazing experience. The food was great, the house white was lovely and the service was top notch! The manager is a lovely and friendly man and he brought us free limoncello shots with the bill. We had such a great time that I came back again at the weekend with my grandmother. She is gluten free but they offer a range of fish and meat dishes as well as a small selection of gluten free pasta. The only thing to note is they don’t have gluten free pizza bases. Otherwise the atmosphere is lovely, the food is delicious and the service is great. It’s quickly becoming a favourite and I will be back again!

A real find in South Wimbledon. La Nonna is a friendly Italian run pasta pizza trattoria serving really tasty pasta dishes made with fresh pasta and even fresher ingredients. We tried the beef tagliatelle and the seafood spaghetti. Both were really excellent.

Super vriendelijke service en echt hele lekkere pizza's. Leuke plek om te zitten en te genieten van een pizza die net even anders is dan normaal. Een aanrader als je in de buurt bent! We komen graag nog een keer langs iig :-D

Came here for a meal last night. The staff were all absolutely lovely, it was like being welcomed into someone's home.

This restaurant is amazing. They make you feel so welcome. My mum and stepdad go there 3 times a week. I go with them once a week. The food is fabulous. The manager is so friendly and the staff are so friendly too. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. They made my mum feel very special today when we were having a belated birthday meal for her. Best restaurant in Wimbledon ❤️

We've been going to La Nonna for years. The meals, ambience and service are always excellent (lunch or dinner). Highly recommended for quality Sicilian food.

We were wary of venturing again, into an Italian restaurant in Wimbledon, as we had been so disappointed in our experience in another local venue.

Toujours cette ambiance chaleureuse avec un rapport qualité prix très correct.

La comida estaba rica, pero lo mejor es el servicio, pues los camareros son muy simpáticos. Éramos un grupo muy grande y armamos mucha bulla y no pusieron ninguna pega. Nos invitaron a un buen chupito de limoncello

Had the best pizza and pasta ever. Coming from South Africa where the pizza is at quite a high standard, I have not had a pizza in London that has even come close until I went to La Nonna. Italian thin base pizza and most delicious clam pasta. Will definitely recommend.

We wanted to eat out....Italian, Thai, Italian, Thai??? So we decided on Italian and we ate here before about 8 years ago, which was ok at the time. We have a special anniversary coming up so thought we would try here again first. We ordered the red house wine, and 'backed it' as it wasn't nice. Then we ordered Crostino con Prosciutto e Funghi to share as a starter - very old dry bread, a few sliced mushrooms and one slice of Prosciutto (which was grey??). Not impressed. Then we ordered mains, my fiancee had crab meat ravioli, which she said was ok. I had Penne Arribiata, which was just pasta with tomato sauce - the closest this was to Arribiata sauce was if it had stood next to the 'chilli flake' jar. I left most of it. Food aside, the worse and unforgettable thing was the flies. There wasn't just one or two, but LOADS of wine flies buzzing round. We had to put tissues over our wine bottle & wine glasses to keep them out - hardly endearing. But the icing on the cake was the house flies - inside the restaurant. I raised this with 2 waiters and both were pretty nonplussed. If there are house flies in the main restaurant then they WILL be in the kitchen too. Who keeps the flies off the food in there? This must be an environmental health issue. Flies land on all sorts of things, then land on food, vomit on it & lay eggs etc - disgusting. We will NOT be eating here again

When we visited with my husband, we had amazing home made special crab meat ravioli in tomato sauce and pizza. Loved it and will be back to try the fish in lobster sauce. Had some Frascati wine and tiramisu which was nice. Friendly service.

Elegimos este restaurante ya que estaba muy cerca de nuestro hotel, ¡y fue una gran elección! El ambiente era amable y animado con un personal atento y divertido. Realmente fue como estar en Italia. Disfrutamos de la música y la comida era encantadora. Recomiendo encarecidamente el plato de sopa de verduras. Llegó en un tazón grande y estaba lleno de verduras frescas y estaba muy sabroso. Mi plato principal de pasta también fue excelente. Gran servicio.
