Every thing was great I didn’t expect to pay a service charge on a table of 6 already in for £300 bill payment in cash £30 is far to much for a quiet restaurant mid week. I believe you should use a discretionary method. Read the room, you want to encourage larger groups who will spend more money in your great restaurant. Kind regards. David

5 people came on a Tuesday evening, the food was excellent, the service impeccable and smiling, and the atmosphere ideal for a quiet chat. I'll keep the address for my next visit to London.

Admittedly we were a large party. But we had a reduced menu (only three starters and three mains other than pizza and pasta) Waited an hour for a kids starters and then an extra half an hour for the adults. My sister got told to be patient when she asked how long (after the kids had eaten their starters). My starter came out cold, ‘luckily’ they had made one too many and it was slightly warmer so I ate it because of the long wait. Took me half an hour to get a glass of wine which wasn’t up to the 250ml and when my sister asked for it to be topped up she got accused of already drinking it when it wasn’t even her who ordered it. We got treated as two tables rather than one larger party. The first tanke we’re getting their mains before the second half had even finished their starters They made a mistake by making too many starters and they charged us for every single one even though it was their mistake My brother and sister in law were running food from the kitchen and clearing the tables. The food took so long at least 4 adults and 4 children left before the adults had their mains and the kids got their desserts (which was in a kids meal deal) No apology no explanation the entire time we were there. And we were the only people in the restaurant When it came to the bill they ‘forgot’ to take off the deposit already paid AND put 10% service charge when the service was shocking and my family were helping them do their job The whole day was an absolute mess. We were there for over 4 hours and not everyone got their food. One person didn’t have a started so they waited no we two hours before they got something to eat I used to love Verona but I wouldn’t risk going there with more than a table of two and even then I am so put off by their behaviour that they have lost so many customers as my family members and friends used to eat their all the time. Never again

I had lunch at Verona last week, along with friends, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We were not hurried despite doing a lot of talking. Our Waitress was friendly, attentive but not pushy. There was a wide range of dishes on the menu so we all had ample choice. The portions were generous and my plan to have a dessert had to be abandoned because I was too full! Prices were moderate and we all agreed to visit again. I would highly recommend Verona.

We visited for lunch as a group of 6 and received the usual warm greeting - the waitress was very attentive and concerned we had everything we needed. The food was good - we all had different dishes and were all happy. We will definitely be going back and would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Food was disgusting, ran out of caesar dressing and just inputted water it in, we complained to the 'manager' could hardly say she had any management skills. she was rude and basically said it was our fault and we could of gone to another restaurant in morden. the atmosphere was horrible, no wonder no one was in there with that customer service (no customer service) and disgusting food. i would avoid at all costs!!!

Had lunch here with my friend can only describe it as terrible. We both ordered the same lunch, chicken ceaser salad. We requested more dressing, the waitress brought it over and it was just water. When she returned to collect our plates, we advised her that the dressing was just water, she didn’t comment and walked away. When she returned for us to pay the bill, her attitude was so… rude and didn’t even apologise for the dressing been awful. She mentioned that they had run out of mayonnaise. The restaurant was quiet, with this service was no surprise. Wouldn’t recommend this and we won’t be back

WHAT a find! My son has just moved to Morden and we went for lunch to celebrate. Viola is everything one could wish for - welcoming, v smiley, v v attentive. My son dropped his fork and she was there in a second with another one without us saying a word. The calves liver was FANTASTIC and the veg cooked al dente as I like them Pizza great too - v Italian, not English! Will be there again v soon. Viola is a star. Thank you Viola Lizzie and Charlie

This is a nice little restraunt, but it has a limited in what it offers. The area in which it is located is jot great. This restraunt would do well in Wimbledon Village or Wimbledon Town. The decor was not great, and the inside could do with a lick of paint.

We spent a romantic Valentine's at Verona. The food was exceptional. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Well worth a visit to this hidden gem.

Friendly service - tasty food - quiet most importantly!

I absolutely love this little Italian restaurant been here on quite a few occasions now and can honestly say the food is fantastic and the banoffee pie for desert is to die for anyone who visits will see and taste of course exactly how lovely this quaint little restaurant really is and how super friendly the staff are so I highly recommend Veronas to anyone who likes great food and a really nice atmosphere.

The people at the till insulted me and the food was terrible they also said they wanted to fight me and I said no then they threw my pizza at me and said I was a pussy.

We booked a table for 8pm. Arrived on time. Sadly our table was unavailable. Bad management. If they are going to overbook customers, they should let you know. My number was not taken. We will not be returning. Due to bad practice, the restaurant missed out on £70.00 plus tip.

Absolutely lovely staff and delicious food.

A quiet place with excellent food. Don't go there if you want a thumping good time, but it is a good place for food, Italian beer and great service. The bus stop is right next to the restaurant. My wife and I will be going back. Not a place for a first date and if you like up to date music.

Lovely small restaurant. There was a birthday party going on at the same time as we visited and the food was on the table in a reasonable time. I had a risotto which was fantastic. They have a nice kids menu with about 8-10 dishes. It's not expensive either. The servers were lovely!

We visited today We were served by a lovely waitress but that's the end of the good news The food was bad ordered the malenzana which arrived surprisingly fast it was probebely heated in microwave the aubergine was cooked separately and added later !! It was difficult to eat but eat it as I was starving The pasta was cooked well but not the vegetables !! Which was under cooked The calamari was below avarage too but the saus made it bearable The mushroom garlic also arrived watery Not sure how they got 4.5 stars on Google reviews but for sure we will not be back again there as the food is below any standards

First evening post lockdown. You gotta cut the guys some slack, service was slow, guess they're trying to get themselves back into a sort of normal Anyway, that aside, food was lovely, generous portions, well cooked and very flavorful. Four of us visited one of our favourite Restaurants not just for the food but also because the bus stops outside! As usual the service was good and friendly and the food delicious and hot. We hope to continue visiting Verona for many years to come.

I usually stop briefly to pick up a delicious pizza. Tonight I decided to sample from the extensive pasta menu. I didn’t have to agonise too long - the service was prompt and the waitress was so spot on with her recommendation.

We have been to this restaurant three times. Every visit the food was lovely. Brilliant service. Last visit 5th July. I had the mussels in a tomato sauce, my boyfriend had the tomato soup. Have eaten here for over seven years now and have always enjoyed great food for a great price. The pizzas are absolutely delicious, the servings are a good size too.

We enjoy this small, intimate restaurant and have visited a few times. We had been told it had been re-decorated but ity didn't look a lot different. The menu and the food were good and service friendly. The prices were reasonable and ambience just right. The house wine is drinkable too! However, just two negatives - the arancini were too big for a starter (and more tomato sauce needed) and the service was sooooo slow. Otherwise an enjoyable evening.
