The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

One of the only Italians in the area open on a Sunday night but we really enjoyed the food. We ordered pastas and they were extremely tasty. The service was friendly though a little relaxed.

My Sister & I were looking for somewhere to eat around Marylebone but not of the restaurants were grabbing us. We then stumbled across Anacapri, greeted by a very friendly Italian (think he was the owner) who invited us to take a seat outside & immediately given water, fresh bread & olives. Extensive choice on the menu, authentic Italian food, nice wine & super friendly service. What a great little find!

We ordered 2 portions of liver and bacon it was so salty the mashed potatoes very salty bacon smoked so salty again the liver was nice disappointed 😞 as really fancied it have had two pints of water still taste the salt

We have visited Cini numerous times over the past 5 years. However this evening we visited to celebrate our 4th Wedding anniversary and it's safe to say we were not disappointed!! We indulged in the 7 course taster menu which were as follows:- Course 1 - Trio of appetisers ( Grilled asparagus with parmesan and a balsamic glaze, butterflied prawn on a roasted pepper with a herb sauce and a pork Croquet) Course 2- Fried Ricotta Calzone with a napoli tomato sauce🥲 Course 3- Cured beef with an olive oil dressing, rocket salad and topped with parmesan and pepper 🤤 Course 4- Crab ravioli with butterflied prawns in a tomato dressing/sauce Course 5- Seamed Sea Bass fillet with tomatoes, butterflied prawns and lemons Palette cleanser - lemoncello style chilled drink. Course 6- Roast chicken brest in a mushroom sauce And finally Course 7- A chocolate layered filo pastry dessert with fresh and dried raspberries 🥲. We enjoyed a bottle of the house prosecco with our meal which was delightful. 🍾 And of course, I finished it all of with an authentic espresso ☕️ In all the food was delicious and of fantastic quality, the presentation was immaculate. The staff were so friendly and kind, their service alongside the fantastic food make dining at Cini the Amazing experience that it is. My Wife and I look forward to visiting again to enjoy the exceptional food and service that Cini consistently provide to their guests.

Had a great evening at CHK. The atmosphere was relaxed and stylish, with a cool, modern interior that opens out onto a lovely green space perfect for a warm evening. The pizza was spot on: crisp base, quality toppings, and cooked just right. Friendly service added to the experience. Ideal spot for a chilled dinner with a bit of buzz. Would definitely return.

Ordered apna style pizza, this was the best pizza I have for a long time. Also would Recommended the zinger burger. Its a banger.

Nice atmosphere, good food, and friendly staff.

Terrible service, stood in the middle of the venue for over half an hour to be seated. Had to set out our own cutlery and plates, food was average. Won’t be returning.

My fiancé and I visited Ballaro's on Monday evening and, while originally sitting outside, we decided to go inside because the sun was setting. Although there were plenty of customers there eating, the staff tended to us very quickly and took our drinks order, and returned with them almost immediately. We ordered a pizza to share, then my partner ordered Simone's Special Cheeseburger, and I got the seafood risotto. The pizza was great and my fiancé really enjoyed his cheeseburger, but I didn't like the seafood risotto so much. When the staff came over shortly thereafter to ask us if everything was ok, the man noticed I hadn't eaten much of the risotto and asked if I didn't like it. When I explained that I wasn't too keen on it, he told me he'd take it away, replace it with something else and cancel it from the bill. I then ordered the lasagne, which he brought to us quickly and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We drank a few glasses of wine each, which were all really nice and well priced, and we both had a Pina Colada, which were absolutely brilliant. The food was great, but the service is what shone the most. The staff were all friendly and funny, but also incredibly attentive and accommodating. We will definitely be back there again soon.

I had a wonderful time at La Fiamma. Easily on the best Italians i’ve ever had. The beautiful view made the meal even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the portion sizes were generous. Highly recommend it!

Customer service is lacking, not worth service fee. Not recommended dine in. I won’t go there again. I went around 11am, one gentleman working at the caffe. When I asked to take away my leftover, the staff just put a box on my table and left, even not giving me a bag. I saw him preparing cake into boxes for other customers and put them into a bag. There was only me at the caffe at that time and he seemed totally not busy.

👌🏻Spaghetti Carbonara: It is delicious but slightly salty. 😑The staff member thought we were not regular customers or strangers, so she treated us trembling with fear and didn't say a word. It made us feel a little weird.
