The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

I think this place needs to reassess letting dogs in. We understand that Kelham is a dog friendly environment from the amount of pubs we went into and we don’t have a problem with this. However in a more high end restaurant setting like this we were extremely put off by a black sausage dog constantly barking and his extremely arrogant owner. They seemed to be regulars or locals but it’s very off putting and ruins your meal when a dog barks at every single customer who walks into the building. Management - please reconsider your position on dogs.

I booked a table for 9 teens to celebrate my daughter's 16th. It was a booked for Sunday at 6:30pm. Just before 5pm I drove by and saw that it was closed. I Called 3 time and no one answered the phone. Was when I checked their website and saw it doesn't open on Sundays. Very confused wodering if I had been scamed and with 9 kids to feed after their bday activity, I felt lucky enough to find a last minute table at another restaurant. Two days after the manager called me screaming and insulting me becasue I didn't show up to the booking. I tried to explain to him from my perspective and he wouldn't have none of it. He is an ignorante and discussing man. He said they open at 5:30 on Sundays throughout December, but after calling and checking their openning times on their website, I did what any mother would do by finding alternative arrangements. I felt he handled the situation very badly.

This restaurant moved from the ground floor to the first floor to accommodate renovations. It’s now in a windowless room that, while nicely decorated, is quite claustrophobic and can get loud when it’s crowded. The restaurant also seems understaffed. While everyone is friendly and nice, the staff seem overwhelmed. You have to ask for things several times before it gets done, and it took a very long time for someone to come take my order. Overall, not a seamless experience and not something I would expect from the Four Seasons.

A chilly Wednesday evening but the restaurant was absolutely packed. Great food and friendly efficient service: the portions are generous and we ended up taking some home. The ragu is so good I have it on every visit even when I’d like to try something new. Likewise, my wife always has the king prawns with pasta and a touch of chilli - excellent. Well worth a visit and advisable to book in advance.

This is the nicest restaurant run but the kindest people. The food was amazing and so tasty, the pasta was delicious- felt like i really was in Positano! They were even able to cater around my mums extensive dietary issues (both gluten and dairy free). i would 100% recommend the bruschetta!!

What a fab meal. Pizza was great. Olives yum!! Nothing to say but thank you for a lovely meal :-)) Will be back to enjoy more of the menu !

Si estás buscando comida auténtica y fresca, con un ambiente íntimo, este es el lugar para ir. Fui con mi pareja por su cumpleaños número 60 y no nos decepcionó. La comida era deliciosa y el servicio al cliente era excelente. A mi pareja se le proporcionó un postre de cumpleaños que era encantador. Sin duda volvería de nuevo cuando visite Londres y lo recomendaría totalmente. Fue un súper hallazgo.

Después de un maravilloso juego en Craven Cottage estábamos buscando un lugar para comer cerca de nuestro Airbnb. No es fácil conseguir una mesa en un sábado por la noche, pero ¿quién iba a saber que tendríamos una comida maravillosa con algunas de las mejores pizzas de siempre - - - - y en cualquier lugar! Todo sobre el lugar era genial y aunque parece divertido decirlo, la próxima vez que estemos en Fulham nos aseguraremos de regresar a La Pizzica.

Enjoyable evening, was definitely made better by the friendly service. We arrived a little late for our booking but it was no problem at all for the them. Debora was very helpful, friendly and welcoming right from the beginning and Paul was efficient alongside her also. We didn’t wait long for anything and all was delivered in a friendly manner! Very enjoyable evening. Excellent value. Having read some of the reviews I was a little worried as to how the evening might go. This was our first visit since the new ownership. I have to say that I needn’t had worried. The food and drink was excellent. If anything the Pizza was even better than our last visit. Nice touch still in place a free shot of Limoncello.If I have to have a moan I would say that I found the starters to be a little over priced for what was served up. Having said that I do find generally in Italians this to be an issue. Overall we had a great night and we were well looked after by the staff. Thank you La Casa. We will be returning.

Fantásticos platos pequeños deliciosos, cada uno era una perfección absoluta. Buena carta de vinos, los dos compartimos cuatro platos para la cena y un quinto para el desierto. Un ambiente encantador y un servicio atento a buen ritmo. ¡Nos encantó!

Como siciliano y verdadero amante de la comida, siempre he creído que la cocina italiana no puede ser superior. Así que, cuando visité este restaurante en Londres, honestamente no esperaba mucho. ¡Pero estaba completamente impresionado! Sin duda, este es el mejor restaurante de Londres. Permítanme comenzar con el aperitivo: una deliciosa mezcla de crujientes croquetas de calamar y buñuelos de calabacín, perfectamente combinados con un excelente spritz. Una gran manera de comenzar la comida! Luego vino la pizza, que era nada menos que espectacular, verdaderamente auténtica, como en Italia. El prosciutto crudo era de la más alta calidad, y los sabores estaban perfectamente equilibrados. El plato fuerte tampoco decepcionó. No puedo esperar a volver. Recomiendo encarecidamente esta joya de un lugar a cualquiera que visite Londres! No te arrepentirás.
