Ottima cucina italiana a Londra con ricette tradizionali, in particolare buonissimo il tiramisù. Staff gentile e disponibile

21 of us booked several weeks in advance and pre-selected our meals from a restricted menu. They served some of the mains at the same time as the starters but left several of us without any food at all. They also got some of the orders wrong. We eventually all got served. The desserts, which were all the same, took ages and they still got the numbers wrong. The food was ok … nothing special but no complaints. This may be perfectly ok for 2-4 people at a time!

Really great people that run it, I’d accidentally left my wallet in there with cash in and they graciously handed it into Brixton police station for me to pick up with everything still in it, great pizza aswell, can’t recommend enough

Excellent repas en famille (2 enfants, 4 adultes), le personnel est accueillant et disponible. Le restaurant est proche d un accès metro. Simply the best chicken Milanese and carbonara we’ve ever had. Fresh pasta was absolutely delicious and children devoured their pizzas; being seated downstairs, we also had the space for our 5 children (in our group of 9) to feel comfortable. Staff were so friendly and accommodated our lateness after spending longer than we thought at BBC Earth Experience. We’d love to return to the ground level with an adult only group as the atmosphere with candles etc looked so lovely!

Dropped in with my son after football (but we won’t talk about that result!!) without a booking. Welcomed nicely and found us a table without fuss and menus and drinks delivered swiftly. Starters (bruschetta and garlic bread) were beautiful with fresh tomatoes and oil/vinegar offered on the side. Pizzas were delicious and authentic-stone baked at their best that coupled nicely with the Moretti beer in frosted glasses! Great atmosphere, wonderful food and friendly service. A hidden gem!

Fabulous home made pastas, wood fired pizzas and vino. We come for dinner every time we are in the area. Service is outstanding. Warm and friendly. Great for date nights as well as family and friend gatherings.

Dear Marco, thank you for your swift reply on google reviews, since there is no option for me to reply And I thought your reply was somehow misleading I will take the time to develop on trip advisor so you can possibly understand better. Firstly I apologize deeply for looking like a vampire who wanted to drink your blood. I guess I matched your unwelcoming greeting. What I described in my previous review had nothing to do with my high expectations, I saw you clearly interacting in a very different way with your other patrons last night which tells me I did not fit in with your expectations of what type of customers you would rather have and what others you would not. When it comes to the food I would probably say it was ok and there was nothing wrong with it but nothing outrageously out of the ordinary, if you had taken the time to ask me you would know but you decided to make it extremely clear that you were going to completely and utterly ignore me. When it comes to my review of your “homemade tiramisu” you seem to blatantly disregard my comment which Makes me think I hit the nail on the head. How acceptable do you think it is in 2023 in London to put an frozen industrially made dessert on your menu and try to pass it as “homemade”. Personally I think it’s insulting my intelligence and at nearly 8 quid a portion I wouldn’t expect to be served something that came out of the frozen section at Iceland. When it comes to your comment/vague apology in your reply that You didn’t deserve my coming to you to say good bye upon my departure from the restaurant, tell me what would warrant me taking the time to do so when you walked by at least 5 times in front of my table giving me a side eye. I gave you and your waitress time to acknowledge the fact that I politely asked for the service to be removed before leaving, if you had taken the time to come and ask me how Was my dinner and if everything was ok with the service which should be the norm if you wanted to have my feedback as a paying customer local to Kensington, that would have cleared the air right then and there. I seem to notice there are a few reviews of your tiramisu, let’s see how many more it takes for you to stop serving that “homemade Iceland delicacy” your waitress took all of 5 seconds to slice and plonk on a lovely slate with a sprinkle of powdered cocoa... think you write something in your window about not trusting people who make carbonara with cream personally I don’t trust Italians who serve frozen tiramisu .. all the best.

Einer der besten Pasta, die wir jemals gegessen haben. Wir hatten die Spaghetti mit Meatballs und die Bandnudeln mit Lamm-Ragout. Und was soll ich sagen, die Gerichte waren ein Traum! Die Nudeln sind selbstgemacht und die Soßen zum reinlegen. Zusätzlich ist der Service freundlich, aufgeschlossen und extrem zuvorkommend. Insgesamt 100% Weiterempfehlung!

We visited after the tennis at Queens - an easy stroll, and a wonderfully warm welcome on arrival. Recommendations from the specials were followed and were all excellent. Focaccia Summer - a generous starter to share. Sea bass and salad, risotto with tiger prawns. Service was friendly and efficient. Recommended, and we would very happily return.

It was suggested the Carbonara is extra special! So I went for it and it was fantastic. The best I have had in the UK for sure. I ended up going back the next night for the same again! Great service, authentic Italian food and a nice atmosphere.

We had booked a table for 17 people and got that confirmed. At arrival they had just prepared for 10people. We had to wait outside 15 minutes while they set the tables in the cellar. When we got the menu they told us that they only had two of the pasta dishes on the menu which was a big disappointment. When we looked up the restaurant on the net they showed a full menu and even in the entrance. That is not professional! Some ordered soda, they had to change their order because it was finished. We arrived 6pm but didn´t get our food until 7.15. We were on our way to a musical that started 8pm and asked them to hurry up. Then they became rude and blamed circumstances instead of apologizing for their poor service. We had to eat very quickly and realized that we would miss the first part of the musical. When it was time to pay their system didn´t work so we were even more delayed. To top things they they also charged us for service. I´ve been to many Italian restaurants in London where the food is far better, Ive never been in any restaurant in London where the service is worse. I was there with 14 friends. We arrived and they had not prepared a table for us even though we booked and was there in time. When they had prepared our table 15 min later they gave us the wrong stuff and we waited 40 min for our food even though we said that we were in a hurry. They were very mean when we paid aswell. Dont go here the service is terrible and and the food is not any special!

Amazing food and service. Staff were friendly, attentive and the chef's dancing (its an open kitchen) was very entertaining! One of the best Italian's we've ever had. They also have a brilliant playlist! Highly recommended.

When you don’t know what to eat & your not starving & need expert advice, having a family night out or dining with friends or want to impress this is the place to come. I discovered this place by accident & I am so pleased. Since May 2022 I have had my flat warming after party, friend’s birthday in the garden area, brought my family & love to come & dine alone here too. The service is excellent every time, so friendly. We ate here early one evening (6.00pm) prior to a Nick Lowe gig at Nells. The service was attentive and friendly, and the food was excellent and very tasty Italian cuisine, served with a smile! I can thoroughly recommend Maurizio Barca, we will dine here again.

We had dinner in Maurizio and it exceeded our expectations. It was incredible. We asked for different dishes such as the Carbonara, risotto or tagliatelle and they were all really good and tasty. Our teens asked for pizza and they loved it. They were so good that they managed to eat one each although they were big size. When we get back to London we will repeat for sure.
