The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

I recently dined at La Casetta and had the pleasure of trying their pasta carbonara. The dish was rich and creamy, with a generous amount of pancetta that added a delicious smoky flavor. The spaghetti was cooked to perfection, coated in a velvety sauce that had the right balance of cheese and seasoning. While the presentation was simple, the taste was truly satisfying. Beyond the food, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had a great dining experience. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with delicious pasta and top-notch service, La Casetta is definitely worth a visit!

Came for my sister's birthday & loved the food

Located a 3-minute walk from the boarding point for Dieppe, this small Italian restaurant prepares excellent, varied, generous and inexpensive dishes (pizzas, pastas, risottos). The people who welcome and run the establishment are very friendly and speak excellent French.

Good option on busy evenings, great pizza and delicious pasta. Good cocktail list. Not the most welcoming of walk-ins later in the evening.

Great kids eat for £1 lunchtime deal!! Emma was fab and accommodating with our two young children. They loved the cheesy garlic bread and the pizzas were cooked well !

A wonderful authentic Italian lunch. Lovely experience on a Sunday afternoon, we sat out the back with our kids. The staff were very attentive and the food was terrific 🍕 🍕 and Mario was great even playing with our children!

We have been coming to Bellini’s for years as the food is amazing as are the hosts Salvo and Valeria. We have always been made so welcome, My daughter and I had fillet steaks followed by Valeria’s homemade lemon cheesecake on our last visit. The setting is lovely in summer as right on the canal and lots of outdoor seating. Would highly recommend.

The best food I ever had, friendly staff, good atmosphere.

Our family love The Italian for a family meal. The menu has something for everyone. We went last night for a special birthday meal the food and staff were amazing. I had tuna steak which was cooked well and so delicious. We were all very impressed with our food. Thank you for your friendly service and Happy Birthday ice cream. We would definitely recommend it
