Great food and service there, I loved

Really great place and always busy, need to book early for weekends, always full and no surprise considering quality of food and service 😉 daily additional specials board always some good options. I visit regular and always take out of towners 👍

Absolute joke of a restaurant- we made a reservation for 7.30 and wasn’t shown to our seats until 8.30, and didn’t even get our starters until 9.20. Food was poor, instead of focaccia they brought us garlic pizza bread and everything was bland. Would not recommend

Gluten free and vegan food available, how good is that? And it tastes great! So an early evening birthday meal with family booked in advance. Started with drinks and GF garlic bread - but it tasted like normal garlic bread. 3 different pizzas and a pasta dish to follow. Half the pasta had to go in a goody bag for later. But the GF pizza was one of the best I've tasted. I like pizza and have tried all sorts but this is my current favourite. Service was fast and efficient by friendly staff and management. Easy access through the main door. Not sure if wide enough for wheelchairs, I would need to check. There are 3 or 4 steps up to the main seating area, but there are at least 3/4 tables in the lower seating area. So if you can't manage the stairs you would be comfortable there. I forgot to check where the toilets are, sorry, so can't comment on them, but they must be on the higher seating area at least. So I will recommend this place, with the proviso that you check the access to the toilets first. Generally though food was great, staff were friendly and efficient, the temperature was comfortable so I've given it 5 stars. Great evening with family.

We found this place a few weeks ago after deciding to eat at a neighbouring Italian restaurant which seemed so poor we left. It was the best decision we could have made. The food is authentic and the menu is slightly different from the usual Italian which makes it stand out. The service is second to none. We have been four times now in the past six weeks and will be going a lot more.

We were a family of 12 and the service was amazing. We were looked after so well. The children had a great experience and the children’s menu is perfect, The food is fantastic. Everyone was delighted . Thankyou so much.

Very pleased with the food. Gorgeous ministrone soup and lasagne. Lovely chocolate fudge cake and cream. Great service. Pasta mains are available as a smaller portion starter if you wish. Also, just had mine and my friend's joint birthday here and the experience was wonderful. Beautiful food and service. We had the upstairs room. Special thank you to Karolina.

We just love coming here. Bella Roma Wakefield. The staff are lovely, helpful, happy & professional. The food is 1st class. We visit at least once a month for a teatime treat. We've also previously hired the room upstairs for a family celebration & the staff were so accommodating. You must try it yourself!

Went to this restaurant for dinner with our family. The food was of a high standard. The staff were pleasant and polite. The attention by staff was of the highest standard. We will return.

Always reliable Italian food with a good atmosphere

Jo and I would like to say a massive thank you to Felice and his team for making our wedding day so special. The food was delicious and the service amazing.we had a lovely day in a romantic setting. Thank you Jo and Gail.

We held our wedding reception in the upstairs private room at Felice’s and our experience was fantastic from start to finish. Felice and his team were brilliant, they were so helpful and flexible. We were allowed to set up the day before and collect items the day after. We were allowed to make our own menu for our guests which had plenty of options for people to choose from. All our guests commented on how nice the food was. If you’re looking for a function room I would highly recommend Felice’s!

Beautiful food and fantastic place. Family of 7 enjoyed a delicious meal, the staff were great with the young kids and adults alike, we cannot fault the place.

Ordered linguine bolognese and to be honest the food was disgusting… the bolognese tasted like it was just warmed food from the can. I expected something more for this price. Definitely will not order again.

A colleague of mine booked a table for 25 as part of a works night out. It was also my leaving do from Nationwide Building Society. I was the first to arrive and received a warm welcome. I was shown upstairs to where the table had been prepared, it looked amazing. There was a seating area where I could wait for my colleagues and a bar to order drinks. The meals had all been pre ordered and came out as soon as everyone had arrived. The waiters and waitresses were attentive and checked the food was to our satisfaction as well as making sure we had ample drinks. I ordered Pennette Mediterranea which was a vegetarian pasta dish and it was delicious. At the end of the meal we all paid individually which was also a great service. Lovely experience all round, thank you.

I highly recommend a visit here, we come regularly. The food is amazing and service can't be faulted. They always go the extra mile.

I was really looking fwd to the hand cut potatoes I ordered but the wrong ones were delivered, instead I received saute potatoes with Rosemary very 😞

We’d like to say a massive thank you to Felice and his staff for their hard work hosting our wedding meal on Saturday. If anyone requires a venue with a bar and small room for up to 25 guests for an event I highly recommend Felice’s! The food was stunning as always and they went above and beyond to accommodate our wants and needs to ensure our day was just how we imagined. We had an intimate setting, good food and open bar. Lots of love Mr & Mrs Clark 🥰

We usually eat here With family (10 of us ) so it’s usual for just 2 of us to dine here Food is amazing but you are made so welcome by all the staff! Nothing is to much trouble the staff are quite young but know there stuff a lovely restaurant!

This is hands down my favourite restaurant. Love it! The staff are amazing, the food is always incredible and it has a real Italian family feel. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

As a coeliac this place is heaven! They have garlic bread, pizza and pasta and it looks homemade. It's nice to support a local restaurant and makes a difference going to the usual chains. Food served promptly and staff very friendly. Place was packed with people and they just kept coming!

Never fail to deliver on service , food and atmosphere. Tuesday night in Wakefield and the place was packed. That says it all.

Tastie food smallish portions but surprisingly filling. Ordered meat balls in sauce, (3 golf ball sz meatballs as portion), hand cut chips (5 large fat soft chips) and garlic, tom, moz' pizza style bread , but shame the bread was almost cold upon arrival. Otherwise lovely.

Lovely lunch today at Felice's Bella Roma. Good food, good service, good company,friendly staff.

Ravioli was good. Garlic bread was very burnt, hard & unpleasant tho. Tried placing another order tonight, a few weeks on (hadn’t reviewed till now) and after 20 mins they just cancelled my order which is annoying as I could’ve ordered elsewhere & not wasted time. If you can’t fulfil / don’t want the order, maybe cancel sooner & not waste peoples time.

Vegan menu! So surprised to find they do a full vegan menu with plenty of options. Flavours were fantastic! And so pleased to see vegan cheese available for the pizza's. All photo's attached are from the vegan menu. Please go give them a try, you won't regret it 😊

Made a trip with family had not got a reservation an they seated us straight away...requested needed table back by 7.30pm (not a problem as in at 6.15pm) Was not dissapointed was beautiful food all round with a warm welcoming atmosphete..all staff knowledgable attentive an swift with order taking, drinks and clearing...Very impressed will definately be returning guest!

Fantastic Italian food. Excellent service. It was fully booked on a Wednesday evening, clearly a popular place.

Lovely food again, my housebound husband looks forward to it, seafood salad is tops all in all really good.

We had come on a whim to this restaurant and was greeted by what we believe to be the owner. Placed on a table and all was well. The starter sharing antipasti was lovely. The drinks order came wrong but thought nothing much of it. When the mains came my main had a hair within the ravioli, we presented it to the owner for him to take the plate with no apology I was left to eat the sides we had ordered with the main. By the point we had informed him off the hair no staff members came to our table, it was like we had been black marked from that point. When time to pay my partner has gone to the bar and the bill was still present my the main with the hair in. My partner asked if this could be removed only and he was faced with a barrage of comments to say we had planted the hair. Firstly myself and my partner are blonde haired and my hair and as a woman fully understand could have gone into the dish was tied up and is very long, both hair did not resemble short black hair, from that point instead of both parties just accepting it and us only not paying for the one dish he continued to state that the hair could of then come of anywhere and told us even our clothes. The hair was in the centre of the ravioli not on top. I’m afraid with that I would not go back and the attitude and how we were treated by the owner outweighs the good experience we had with the other waiting staff. Everything fine until something isn’t quite right and it can’t be his fault. Poor.

Pizza was okay but fries were incredibly soggy I had to just leave them. Seems like they had the fries ready for the agreed collection time of 12:05 but pizza wasn't ready until 30 minutes later which is why the fries are soggy. The pizza also wasn't cut which is a slight annoyance as they made me wait half and hour after the 12.05 collection time for it. Okay pizza disappoint with soggy fries Personally Segundos do pizzas better for the price.

Visited for an anniversary meal and was not disappointed. Food and wine excellent and well presented. Friendly atmosphere from customers and staff as we were not local. I would recommend and will visit again when in area.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely poor, and I was treated disrespectfully by the owner. It's unfortunate that the lack of professionalism overshadowed the food

Came with a large party, couldn't fault food or service. Only one thing couldn't get an ordinary cider only have fruit cider.

Definitely our favourite pizzas. The seafood one is topped with beautiful seafood and the pizza base is tasty and authentic.

Been here many times. Fantastic, authentic Italian food cooked to perfection by Conrad. Great place, great atmosphere and great staff.

Small but lively restaurant, was a little too loud for my liking however staff and ambiance were pleasant. Food was worth the price I paid in both quality and portion size. Only thing that I could really complain about was the seating option they chose for us (table for 2) as was seated next to the stairs and had quite a few people brushing past me, other than that they were very clean and well presented.

Always fantastic food and friendly service, Felice and his staff always makes you feel so welcome. The best and most Authentic Italian restaurant in Wakefield. It knocks the spots of other, shall we say more glitzy establishments where it is more bling and BS and they are overpriced and overrated. I hope to see you all soon next time I am back in the UK!

Bella by name, Bella by nature. A wonderful dining experience with a wide variety of Italian cuisine on the menu, excellent quality of the dishes served and great service. I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly.

Great food, great service and great price!

The food is always delicious authentic Italian food. The restaurant was a bit bright and noisy for me but it didn't stop me enjoying the food! We've used their takeaway service a few times now and that is just as delicious!

Excellent food, with many choices on the menu and more on the specials board. I had starters and a main course, and they were superb. I went in a group of 8 for a friend's birthday party and the atmosphere was certainly celebratory. The service could have been a little more speedy and attentive but it was a very busy evening. I'd definitely go again.

Superb food, with lots of flavor and choice,great atmosphere, really friendly staff, nothing is to much trouble for them . good choices of wine, would recommend, definitely worth a visit.

My favourite restaurant, we come here every time for family birthdays and other celebrations. Not too big and impersonal, with friendly staff and excellent chefs who cook wonderful, tasty dishes. My particular favourites are the steak dishes, always cooked to perfection. I don't eat out often, but when I do I come here.

Nicest Italian restaurant in Wakefield

Favourite restaurant in Wakefield since the Cow Shed changed hands. Good food and good value. We've been in several times at lunchtime.

What a shame half the topping on my pizza had slid off. Due to delivery guy. Delivered on a push bike.

Excellent thanks 😊, just gets better each time you go. The ladies look after you without exception. Try any dish with the nduja sauce made from a soft salami. If you like a sweet taste followed by a warm glow of eat.

Italian Restaurant, nothing wrong with the food, but had better

Four people in the party for luntime. A lunchtime menu is available but we whent for normal menu. The starters were excellent and plentiful. Mains were delicious as were the deserts.Service was impeccable. The wine was great. Everyone complimented how good the meal was so we were well pleased . Proper linen on the tables and a great resteraunt. Our first time here but will not be our last. Authentic. Our congratulations to the owners and staff. Thank you.

Food was lovely. I suspect some new waiting staff as they appeared a little nervous and unsure. Bruschetta followed by seafood pasta was yum 😋

Really great food with excellent service and not overpriced

Absolutely love the food, especially the white chocolate profiteroles! But the last few times I’ve ordered them with my meal, you’ve packed them in with the piping hot food and they’ve arrived as a melted mess and they’re near enough ruined. Please pack the cold desserts seperate :(. Other than that.. spot on!

Best Italian in Wakefield a party of 6 of us went on Friday night excellent food, friendly staff.

We have been for meal here tonight and again the food and staff were fabulous. Very tasty food the pollo creme is our favourite. Would recommend its so nice to have a restaurant where the food is of good quality. Staff are very polite can't wait to go again. Thankyou and compliments to the chef
