The best restaurants serving Italian food in Yorkshire and The Humber

I have been a regular customer at Starbucks in Beverley but, after today's visit, my family and I will never cross the threshold ever again. My nearly blind wife, her guide dog, our son, the family pet dog and I went there this morning. We had coffee and breakfast. My wife's guide dog was a bit shouty. My wife tried her best to settle him down, but that wasn't good enough for the staff. The jumped up barista in a loud voice, so everyone could hear, told our table to take the dog out while he was barking. The way he spoke to my wife with his attitude and expression made my wife feel less than two centimetres tall. If a dog barking is grounds to throw you out, then surely the place is not dog friendly, even when it says it is. No one should ever have to be treated like that, especially a blind person with a fully trained guide dog. It's a sad day for Starbucks and even sadder day for my wife who has not stopped crying!!

first time ordering here. mac and cheese was cold and chicken wings weren’t even cooked. peri chicken and chips box was lovely but wont be ordering again.

Mixed kebab was ordered Dry chicken tikka Tasteless donner meat Rubber nann Hardly any salad But it was hot and delivered quickly by a lovely young lad Very dissapointed

Buon apps is our favourite restaurant and we visit at-least once a month. The food is delicious, staff are fantastic and the setting and ambience is perfect. Recently we attended a tasting evening with pairing wines which was wonderful and we can’t wait for the next one!

Super tasty pizza served by very friendly staff. Go to place for take away.

I tend not to do Pizza that much but allowed my son first call. I had the Neopolitan & have to say it was pretty good. Flavoursome, plenty of topping & a bite to the crust. If you find yourself wanting Pizza you could do a lot worse than here. Delivered on time.

Every Saturday as a family we go out for a meal together but the worst mistake was picking Frankie and Benny. It took over 30 mins to order as the service was slow but it was busy and the server apologised so I can except that. It was the fact that every time we selected an item it was not available. What kind of restaurant runs out of 60% of their menu. No ceaser salad, ribs, lasagne I should have asked what was on the menu instead of what wasn’t. Food was served luke warm at best but decent portion.

Absolutely rubbish, I've never ordered from here before and I won't be re-ordering. The shawarma kebab was tiny and extremely chewy, hard and dry. The wraps were no more than ok, the beef burger was a standard budget, but when you pay almost 9 pound for a half pound burger and it turns up with 4 scrappy pieces of chicken on it, I think it's taking the Mick! The delivery was quick but the food was really bad so I will not reorder, very disappointed

Made a booking for 6 Nov, didn’t get a confirmation email. Tried calling them but no answer. We went there hoping for a lovely meal and the place was closed, no idea if there was an emergency and they’ve not been around etc. Not great especially as they are usually excellent. Surely if you are closed for a bit, put something on your voicemail and stop the website from allowing bookings to be made.

We had a lovely family meal here on Saturday as we have done many times. The quality of the food is very good and the service and atmosphere was excellent. Thank you Stefan for looking after us so well.

Went in today and the place is literally filthy. Dirty floors. Dirty tables. Random Dirty cutlery lying around. Litter all over the floor. Grim.
