Hedon Pizza in East Riding of Yorkshire

Good food but the 2 ladies in front of house need some training on how to deal with the public. Miserable faces, no thank you's , no chat, no personality. I got served mid week once by a very nice, smiley and friendly young lady tho, she can definitely teach them how to do the job properly. But the food is always decent

ordered food tonight, pizza, kebab and chips, a drink; ice cold drink, hot chips, lovely pizza, little bit soft on the base. asked when ordering if i would get the free cheesy garlic bread they offer when spending over £25, confirmed that we would receive this. but when the driver delivered the order we did not. If I was told I wouldn't receive it I would have ordered a garlic bread.

First time trying them. Ordered online, £28, card went through, email rejecting the order no reason no contact. Won’t use them again

17/2 I ordered online at 6.02pm I waited until after 90 minutes from ordering to ring and see where it was. The person who answered said it had left the shop and should be on the way. I next rang after 2 hours since the order was placed. She checked again, not in the shop. I said she had said that earlier and was it cold somewhere now? She said we’ve been really busy. No apology so far. Rang a third time after about 2 1/2 hours. She said the driver had rang me 3 times. My phone goes to silenced call on unknown numbers. I had rang back, no answer. She’s said we’ve got new drivers and had come back as couldn’t find it and no answer. We’ve not had other delivery drivers having trouble finding our house. Still no apology made. Several minutes later she rang back and said that they’d do the order again so it was fresh and I had to tell her what it was. Still no apology. About 15 minute later a bloke brought the food (nearly 9pm). He APOLOGISED and said no charge. Nearly 3 hours to get 2 chicken kebabs and chips! I understand they were busy it being Saturday but still. An “sorry it’s taking so long” wouldn’t have gone amiss too. So the driver said no charge when he brought it. I’ve sent the above details to them in two different ways but not heard anything so doesn’t look like I’ll be getting my refund any time soon. Rubbish customer service and phone manner.

Definitely one of the best pizza places in East Yorkshire! Very friendly staff, and tasty food!

The hedonpizza app is more expensive than the menu on google. Im looking at £23 for special offer 4 (x3 any 12 inch pizzas & 2 chips) but £25 on app. So app is over charging or establishment need to update menu on google.

Food and choices of food is great.

Arrived very hot and was not a scrap left over. Will definitely use again.

Ordered from here numerous times however the last 2 times they have missed thing from my order. First time was just a drink 2nd time was some chips. Had to ring both times to inform them and then had to wait for it be delivered. Just not good when you want your meal to come together on the plus side food has always been lovely. 2nd order was a big order as we had friends round for a games night.

Bland food, absolutely rubbish. Will be going to alcapone next time. Cost £59 for rubbish food

Been using for a while but bought burgers and was awful and full of grease. Gave them benefit of the doubt ordered again and yet again the same was awful and had bad stomach ache not long after eating just half of it. Put me off.

Really good food we actually prefer it to the previous Italian mama. The chips are brilliant… large portions& good value for money. Pizza is lovely too. Will definitely return I think I’m addicted to your chips! Apart from Kolize (which if obviously restaurant style pizza & very nice) I think this is the best pizza around in Hedon.

We had a burger and salad and to be honest, I was told the burger was just ok. I got a Greek salad, having asked what was in it etc. I was really disappointed in it. It was mostly white onion with two tomatoes, a small amount of shredded lettuce and very very salty feta with a handful of olives. It cost more than the burger and fries put together so I would have thought a little more effort would have gone into it. Maybe some proper salad leaves, more tomatoes and some cucumber.... It's not hard to get a salad right but seems for £7 this was really lacking. We won't go again altho I'm sure other menu options are good.

Food was nice for the price, it's good value. We ordered a special offer with 3 12 inch pizzas and 2 portions of chips and they sent 10 inch pizzas, so we only just had enough, I was still a bit hungry. Messaged straight away and I can see the message was read the same night, but didn't get any reply 3 days later. Only a few pounds difference in what we paid for to what we received, but yeah, not the point, not the best customer service experienced when contacting with an issue.

I won a Facebook competition for 2 pizzas chips and drinks, wasn't expecting much and it was actually really nice, better than others in the area.

It was our 1st time tonight at Hedon Pizza and the service from taking the telephone order to collection was friendly and quick, the pizzas were fantastic good sizes (not scrimping or leaving loads of the pizza edge without topping) good helping of toppings, chips were top draw and well thank you for a genuinely good service and pizza. Hedon's new No.1 👍 keep up this great standard. Karl

1st time ordering great value for money, they did forget sauces but redelivered instantly and gave more then I had ordered. Tasted amazing too

Not bad but nothing to sing about I had the Meat Feast Calzone. Couldn’t help but compare it to Italian Mamma which it replaced, in my opinion it didn’t use the same high quality ingredients, but on the flip side it was set at a cheaper price point. It’s a solid 3.5 out of 5.
