We waited a bit longer and at 11:00 it shuts so we rang at around 11 and no answer as they’ve now shut and we will most likely not be getting our food, such a waste of time we’re furious and left hungry.

Delivery was 30 mins late. Ferrero milkshake tasted and looked like porridge. The 3 crepes were over cooked. Looks liked no care was taken and order wss made by amateurs.

If could give this place no stars, I would. I ordered the banana crepe and it came stone cold and almost stale. I also ordered 2 scoops of mango sorbet, to which vanilla ice cream with a random yellow sauce came, which smelt and tasted nothing close to mango. My partner ordered a mint aero shake, which just tasted like a standard chocolate milkshake. He also got the cotton candy sundae. That was missing the gelato, and they just replaced it with vanilla ice cream. It had no cotton candy in it as well. So I’ve basically spent £30 for something I could have gone to tesco and paid a fiver for. I did used to rate this place when it first opened, but the last couple of times I’ve ordered it has massively gone downhill. Half the stuff is now no longer on the menu/never in stock when I order, and the quality is dismal now. This was raved about massively, what on earth has happened?

I feel physically sick at how much I was charged for the tiniest cookie with a bit of chocolate drizzled on the top absolutely ridiculous - daylight robbery, to say I am disappointed is an understatement. I just can't get my head around how you justify those prices.

Dissatisfied with brownie, should've been used as a door wedge definitely didn't taste fresh. Good tea, custard was not popping although I imagine it was microwaved. Very nice staff, place was bit dirty

They never delivered the food. I waited 1hr before contacting them. The order had not even left the store. They cancelled the order and charged me for it!

Really nice desserts with fantastic service.

Got cornflake tart and slice of chocolate cake which were picked by bare hands not gloves or fork didn’t realise until I came home the finger marks on the cake which went in trash no hygiene at all the lady was Handing change before serving me that really cringed me out this must stop were gloves when serving food please.

Ordered crepe and it came out crunchy and hard. My son couldn’t cut into it properly. I expect much better quality off food especially for £7 a portion. 😡

By the time the food got here it was cold and low quality and was missing half of my order if they didn't have it in they could have told me and no problem but they didn't tell me and I have no idea what reason caused them to skip half my food and when I called about it they put me in hold because they didn't want to speak to me, how rude I do not recommend at all. They deserve to go out of business

I'd give less stars if it would let me! Just received our order and the waffle came with nothing , when I telephoned to speak to someone I was told the freezer was broken so therefore no ice cream etc. When I questioned why I had paid almost £17 for my order to be just sent a plain waffle and a cheesecake he put me on hold for 10 minutes until I hung up because he clearly didn't want to speak to me. Very bad service. Definitely won't be ordering from there again.

Ordered 4 Milkshakes at 10pm, they arrived at 10.45pm but without straws I rang them about the straws and was told it would be 15 minutes, then 30 minutes go by and I ring again and I was told another 15 minutes, 12.15 still no straws or repsonse from the jokers worst experience ever, awful service and rude workers who dont care dont visit here waste of money and time Wont be coming again

Milkshake was solid absolutely unedible. Cookie dough was raw. Waffle was cold. It came 2 and a half hours late. Terrible service Terrible food would not recommend at all even to my worst enemy

Delivery takes over 3 hours even though I was 15 min car ride away , won't be ordering again.

We purchased a brownie and cookie dough dessert from this place. The cookie dough was not even cooked, it was RAW. Both desserts were cold and they came over an hour late. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Utter rubbish.

My beuno cookie dough I ordered at 9-10pm to 7 grieve house drive was really small that it was not worth my money at all then we got give 2 ice creams which we did not order . And I also ordered a milkshake it was really nice but you put 2 straws in the bag I paid £17-£20 and honestly it wasn’t worth my money this time and normally when I order from you guys it’s really good but this time it wasn’t . And it took 1-2hrs to have it made and droped off too . Just a tip for next delivery pls don’t make the cookie dough as small as it was because normally it is bigger to what I got but I literally got given half of the cookie dough so I don’t know where the rest was pls and Thankyou

Very nice place to go very good stuff

Got my delivery in under 15 minutes. They did miss something from my order. I called they apologised, remade that part of my order for me and delivered it less than 10 minutes with a little extra chocolate bar.

Went this evening, and the kids loved the desserts. Reasonable priced too.

Poor experience. Ordered bubblegum scoopshakes, W4D special waffle and a cookie dough. Presentation of both desserts was very poor and looked like a result of laziness and the milkshakes were just blue coloured cold milk. When asked for a refund for the milkshakes the business only wanted to refund for 1!

2 and a half hours I waited fo4 a brownie and sticky toffee only for them to arrive cold and stale. Worst place ever. And the sticky toffee was swimming in cold custard that I didn't want.

There was hair in my food so unfortunately that ruined it for me.

Great place for desserts, staff are nice and friendly. Good thing is you can sit in or takeout. I have tried this place out many times. Never had an issue. They have seating area upstairs and downstairs so user friendly for those who struggle with stairs etc.

we had a salted caramel sundae, tub of mixed flavours and another ice cream. Very nice, quiet inside so we felt very comfortable eating in. Nice girls who work there.

Generally a pretty decent place. But boy they screwed up my Crepe. Description says "melted chocolate drizzled". Not sure if this is drizzled or they just poured the whole jar. Legit ruined my experience. Count even eat 1/4 of the crepe to get a bit of my money's worth.

Ferrero Royal Waffle, description: "oozing with white and milk chocolate". This was all white chocolate a very small drizzle of milk chocolate and 1 ferrero rochai. This should not be called 'royal' if there's only 1 chocolate on it. All you could taste was the white chocolate, it was way to overpowering.

W4D Halifax branch is one of the best desserts place, best customer services, Hassan is a very pleasant and caring person! Well done 👏👏👏👏

Went here for the nephews birthday. We got a corner table and opened some presents and the staff went above and beyond for us. Highly recommended.

If I could give less I would. Made an order for collection.. told cash only order of £50.. turn up at 10.50 for shutter to be down and people inside not responding. Absolutely shambles. Joke of a business.

Had a great time. The sweet was exactly what it said. It was fantastic and decadent. Service was good and staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. They could not have been better. Will definitely be going back. Desert heaven

Ordered our food, but the staff seemed disinterested when asked what the best things were. Waffles were cold, food was inedible, and they weren't interested when we tried to complain and didn't answer their phone when we got home.

I went to W4D this afternoon and was very disappointed with the food. The ice cream tasted like soap, the waffle was smaller than usual and the plates, knife and forks where all dirty. I was so disappointed and think that it's definitely overhyped. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Been a few times, love the milkshakes. Certain members of staff provide a better/friendlier service than others.

Bad service. Asked for a table to get cleaned and the staff said they're busy. Never bothered to clean it up. So we had to move the tables ourselves. Asked staff for water twice and no one bothered to give it, just as we came out they all of a sudden saw us and purposely took glasses out! Not happy at all. Won't be coming again. It’s shame but fair do choc stop up the road :)

*Late & Cold* Placed my order at 8pm and did not receive till past 10pm. Rang the phone line several times during this period and had no response. The one item we had ordered was cold when it arrived, to no surprise. Order was simply dropped at the door step with no apology or acknowledgment of it being 2 hours late. Desserts are nice, but three times in a row i have ordered from there and the service has been extremely bad. Once I ordered two desserts and only one came, took ages to get through to them about it. I have ordered from w4d a few times and I have been satisfied every time I recommend w4d to everyone.

We ordered a few deserts for delivery. The delivery slot only shows once payment has been taken and 75 minutes seemed a bit long. Not the end of the world, but the delivery was then 20 minutes late and when it finally arrived, half the order was missing and the ice-cream was half-melted. W4D? Will not respond to my messages, so they have taken the money and not delivered the goods. I will never use again and will never recommend. The deserts that actually turned up were ok, not amazing and certainly not worth the final cost if taking into consideration being ripped off.

Ordered online and arrived to pick it up, asked to wait 5 mins. After 25 mins went back into the shop and they didn't have my food, hadn't done it or had given it away. Poor service, no systems in place to ensure customer reviews the right food!!! Shocking.

Waiting 2 hours for delivery burnley shop We ordered 2 hot chocolates 2 scoops of ice cream with cream on top and a j2o to make the money up for delivery After 2 hours it arrived they ad put that cheap whippy icecream on the top of the ice cream And the hot chocolate came cold and the cup was only half full what a rip off tryed to find a number to the shop but couldnt we av been good customers BUT WILL NOT GO AGAIN

We placed an order for delivery which subsequently never arrived despite it being marked as delivered. We tried to call the restraunt on numerous occasions but they never answered and because they marked it as delivered Just eat will not process a refund! The only reason we requested delivery because they only accept cash on site! The last time I checked taking funds without goods being exchanged is fraudulent and thievery!

First time we ordered from here the food took over 2 hours to come, must have rang about 35 times and when they finally answered all I got was "we're busy" as an explanation. No apology or common courtesy. Decided to order again from here tonight thinking maybe it was a one off. Waited over an hour for food again, could not get through to anyone on the phone. It was literally 4 desserts. I really don't understand how a business can operate so unprofessionally and have such bad customer service and non-chalant staff. Its not worth the hassle. W4D? More like what game are they gonna play this time when you try and order. AVOID

Nearly 3 hours waited instead of 30-45 mins given, being fobbed off, when it did finally turn up, ice-cream was water food was stone cold. When we can afford a treat this is what we do, can't get hold of w4d or justeat. Wont be using this place again.

I started going here during Lockdown, it was one of a very few places to get a decent coffee. The manager is brilliant, friendly and nothingbis too much trouble. However, when he's not there, the staff, of whuch there's many take an unbelievably long time to serve all your order at once. They have no idea what's in their products (in case you need to ask for dietry reasons), and they do not cater for vegans, if you want a coffee, so no non dairy milk at all. The staff by and large are friendly, the girls more, so than the guys, one of whom, barged in front of me and my child as we were going to the bathroom, without so much as a by your leave. Our last visit was dreadful, wont be going back.

Good desert food, well presented. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the cheesecake, cookie doughs, milkshakes and hot choc. Need to burn off some calories now but well worth it. YUM YUM. Clean premises with Perspex panels and social distances tables for our current times for anyone who is worried.

3 attempts at ordering.No. 1. Forgot to put coffee in my cafe latte!!!!No.2 didn't deliver, tried numerous occasions to contact theism but no reply.Next day told waffle machines broke. They did have a contact no but didn't try to let us know. They had been paid when booked.No.3 arrived at 2235hrs when ordered at 1940hrs. Unable to get In touch with them again. We went to bed to be be knocked up by delivery man. Very apologetic, apparently the waffle machine broke!!!! I am still trying to speak with manager but his phone is unavailable!!!! I've been to the shop a few times and had a great experience there it's just a shame that the delivery side let's them down. You'd think it's convenient to get great desserts delivered to your door but the lat few times I've ordered from just eat they've fobbed me off giving a specific delivery time then sending a text to say the driver is on their way but them to still not be here an hour later then when it finally turns up its stone cold and the contents of the bag are thrown all over the place. And more recently they've confirmed the order and give a delivery time of 10 past 10 for them to then at quarter past 10 cancel the order without any reason, pretty poor customer service in my book.

Nice crepes with good prices when ordering online and collecting. One certain male member of staff needs to sort his attitude out, very rude. Needs to learn some people / customer skills asap. Apart from that I recommend this place for deserts.

Well I am FUMING! I order from what’s for dessert every week & normally good. I placed my order at 9.35 and said it would be here around 10.30. It’s now past 10.30 & I went on the website & it’s closed!!! So w4d have taken £15 out of my bank & my food hasn’t been delivered!!! 😡😡 will not be ordering from here anymore

Fantastic service. The guy was so nice and had a laugh when he came to the door. Couldn’t think of a better desert restaurant food and service wise. Quick delivery, amazing food and great prices
