Great table. Excellent service by Tina and Annetta.

It's overpriced.. ordered polenta chips, came in a tiny ramekin. Appox 10 chips for 8.95.. 89p per chip. The taste was ok, but when I'm paying nearly a pound a chip, I expected more. Pizza was ok, but nothing special. There was no atmosphere.

Stopped here after a very busy day and I must say we were very well looked after from the moment the door was opened to the meal ending. The waiting staff are doing a phenomenal job and a credit to the business. I only wish all chain style restaurants had this level of customer experience. I’ve been to too many where this is sadly not the case.

Fantastic Meal at Pizza Express Ilkley I had a great dining experience at Pizza Express in Ilkley. I ordered the Garlic Prawn pizza along with a chilli and basil dip, and my brother had the lasagne with dough sticks. The food was delicious, cooked perfectly, and full of flavour. The portion sizes were just right, and everything was served fresh and hot. The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive, making the experience even better. The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere, and despite being busy, the service was efficient. The price was reasonable, especially with the 25% discount code I used, which made it great value for money. Overall, a fantastic meal, excellent service, and a welcoming environment. I’ll definitely be visiting again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a lovely meal at Pizza Express in Ilkley. Tina was our waitress and was super attentive and welcoming. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the service was surprisingly fast considering it was a payday Friday and we were a table of eight! But the food was delicious and the staff were lovely :)

Fab Pizza Express in Ilkley which we go to regularly. Staff are fantastic and always so welcoming. Tina served us today and was lovely. Kids always looked after and food always so good. The app is also great, often gives you free extras.

We’ve just received the most exceptional service from Laura and Matt. They looked after me and my two year old so well. They let her play chef with some dough whilst we waited for our food, and we had such a lovely time. Honestly the best service I’ve ever had, such sunny, bright, friendly humans. Ordered via Deliveroo. Took 2 hours for x1 margarita pizza and a side of dough balls. When it turned up we received two small pizzas one of which was not a margarita.

What a nice little spot. We visit PizzaExpress regularly, but this was our first time in Ilkley. Our waiters were extremely friendly and the food was great!

Ordered delivery from Ilkley Restaurant. 2 hours later still not delivered. No communication. Called the restaurant and it was closed. Literally couldn't have been worse. Short of them sending a steaming turd in a pizza box.

My family and I visit our local Pizza Express in Ilkley all the time - the staff there are amazing - they welcome us so enthusiastically and always make such a huge effort to ensure our meal is perfect. We have two little girls who they greet with such warmth and kindnes due to the regularity of our visits. We’ve reached Gold Level on the reward scheme so it’s real value for money. The food is always great and the atmosphere is so inviting. It’s literally one of our favourite places to eat. Thanks to Tina and the team for doing such a great job !!!! We love it.

We love coming to Ilkley pizza express! The great variety of menu choices, the friendly helpful staff and wonderful food. The chef goes out of his way to make sure your pizza is made to your liking. There’s always a happy atmosphere with customers of all ages.

We weren’t offered a kids menu so we stupidly assumed their choices would be small but they were given adult pizzas. We had 50% off kids pizzas but obviously couldn’t use it as we were told we should have asked for kids menus! Pizza Express … you should offer people with children the kids menus! No dough balls or desserts for the kids as that would have cost another £50. Very disappointing…

We visited Pizza Express for my granddaughters 2nd birthday. Our waitress was very polite and helpful although service could have been quicker- a 2 year old doesn’t like to wait a long time for her pizza! What was great was the young man( didn’t catch his name but he will know he was!) who retrieved our granddaughters balloon when it floated up to the ceiling!!He was so good , he got step ladders and then someone brought a vacuum out- it made Florence very happy and saved the day! Above and beyond the call of duty but it saved the day!!!

We had a lovely family meal here on Saturday as we have done many times. The quality of the food is very good and the service and atmosphere was excellent. Thank you Stefan for looking after us so well.

One of my favourite pizzerias especially for the thin Romana bases. Quite pricey but as always I don't mind paying extra for food food. Consistent across restaurants and offer a decent loyalty scheme. Currently on silver level and we get free dough balls, hot drink and cold drink on every visit. For my birthday the scheme gave me a free pizza with around 3 weeks to take up that offer. Great service

Didn't realise this as we weren't offered it kids eat free we weren't even offered a kids menu thinking they didn't do one,my son is 10 I'm sure he's still a kid,the lasagne was lacking in meat I've had better frozen which I'm sure this was,we ended up spending £72 on 1 pizza,1 carbonara, 1 lasagne, 1 soft drink,3 deserts how fo people think this is good value.

Just been for a meal,have to say very over priced for what's on offer,had the lasagne very watery hardly had any meat no substance to it at all,never offered a kids menu,so presumably didn't have one,then googled it found out kids menu available instead of adults pizza and adults chocolate brownie a child's portion would be surfice,1 drink,1 pizza,1 lasagne, 1 carbanara 3 deserts £72 extortionate the lasagne was better at spoons can't see them making that from scratch in the time we got it,won't be going again any time soon,if food was exceptional I'd be ok with it,didn't complain as staff member was foreign and very sharp with us didn't want to cause a seen.also very cramped and noisey.id also like to say there's a sign outside saying kids eat free all summer what a joke

Asked for chilli oil, but got garlic oil, had a kids eat free offer which I informed them about at the start, but was added to the bill. They did remove it. Service was quick when we told then we had a theatre reservation to get to which was great.

Terrible food at over inflated prices!

Back again in June 2024: prices gone up, foods alright, but the way interior was, it can get really noisy. Basically, have to shout to be heard. Not enjoyable. We quickly finished our food and left. Previously: Good vibe, friendly service. Lots of pizza choices, tho not enough of other foods.

We are regular visitors to pizza express, but the food yesterday was exceptional. Pizzas were perfectly seasoned, had plenty of flavour and all 3 were cooked to perfection - so thanks to the team!

Decent location, but atmosphere was better in different restaurants

Have tried this pizza express venue and on each visit I have been very underwhelmed by the meals we had. BBQ burnt ends pizza arrived soggy and luke warm and had to be sent back. This happened on our previous visit when my prawn pizza also came cold and soggy for it to be taken away, clearly reheated and inedible which put me off the pizza here. This time I went for the bosco salad with chicken. Mushrooms were raw and cold and minimal chicken which I paid extra for. But lastly the sides…NOT worth what you are charging. £9 for a few pieces of breaded calamari that was cold, £7 for minuscule portion of halloumi bites & £6 for soggy tasteless polenta sticks. That salad is my favourite meal at your other locations and was very disappointed with how it was presented here. Calamari was knocked off the bill but female staff didn’t seem bothered at all when I brought it up and never bothered to check if we were happy with starters to replace it. Other male staff member very attentive and friendly. I’m not sure we will come back to this ilkley pizza express & go to the leeds venue or skipton in future

I visited Saturday night with my family, there were 4 of us in total. While it was busy when we got there they were able to seat the 4 of us easily. Our waitress, Aneta, was friendly, professional, and quick. Her interactions with my almost 4-year old son were fantastic. The waiter who brought our food over (bearded chap) was also professional and friendly. Our food was delivered quickly, was hot, and very tasty. The chocolate fondant I had for dessert was also delicious (I was tempted by the billionaire sundae but I was too full!) Overall it was a great dinner out with my family.

I used to be so happy with pizza express but our experience last Monday was just very disappointing! Went for lunch with friends and kids, the waitress was very rude, like she couldn’t be bothered, at the end of the meal we wanted to pay separately , she pretty much threw the bill at my friend and told her to work it out!!! I find that pizza express is very over priced for what it is, a small black coffee £4.25😳 apple juice £4.95!! And pizzas over £15!

I ordered lasagne. Hardly anything solid in it. Virtually just a bowl of sauce. Very disappointing.

The Ilkley Pizza Express restaurant is particularly awesome. It's a huge old station building with lots of character. Pizzas here are always absolutely delicious. It's where my wife and I come each month for a date. Love it.

Somewhat sterile reception on arriving not over friendly Thought the menu was ok but very pricey Food was ok and arrived promptly BUT what spoiled the meal was two of the waitresses were seen on a few occasions wiping their noses on the back of their hands !! Then serving food/drinks !! Ok if you HAVE to work if you have a virus ok to a degree but please practice proper hygiene ! Or management give them a job where they are clearing tables maybe not serving food ….. 3 days later we had dreadful colds 😡

Our pizzas appeared to have suffered shrinkflation. The Calzone was more like a veggie cornish pasty in size and they even forgot to put the cheese in. This was the second time they couldn't produce a decent pizza: I returned it the first visit and warned them the second visit. Pity since I visited several times a year but no more. Nice waiters cannot make up for a poor kitchen.

Annual trip for birthday celebrations, as always good food, excellent service and a great atmosphere. We're never disappointed. Thanks for another great evening

I often come here with a friend for lunch when we want to catch up with each other. We very much appreciate the calm atmosphere at that time of day, with no pressure to order at every stage. The staff are great !! ( Stephan looking after us today ). The wines are distinctive and we enjoy the food . When the weather is warm enough, the terrace is a great place to be especially as it’s south facing. I also eat here with family, the staff being delightful when attending to the younger children, who adore the food.

I was here today waited at the front to be seated 3 staff members was around noone not one spoke or greeted me no acknowledgement what so ever stood there for ten minutes or more then walked out I won't be returning iv been a customer for years such a shame and I know the lady saw me but ignored me which is terrible avoid update I did email and ring no-one got back to me about this incident.

Best pizza express bar none. Annetta is simply brilliant as our host, attentive and welcoming. The food is just great and the restaurant itself is well appointed and laid out.

Visited Saturday evening without a booking following a disappointing experience at Piccolino. We were able to get a table straight away which was great, as the restaurant seemed full. Food arrived quickly and was of great quality as it always is. Special mention for Francois, the waiter, who has always been very attentive and helpful on this and previous visits. Highly recommended.

Always great service from Stefan. He always makes an effort to talk to our two girls and even remembers what they like to order. Speedy service even on a busy Saturday. It's one of our favourite pizza expresses

We visited Pizza Express on our way home from a recent stay in Yorkshire , the waiter was welcoming and courteous, the food was certainly maintaining the Pizza Express reputation, but there was one exception , the dough balls were the Best that we have ever eaten at a Pizza Express . I would certainly recommend P E Ilkley to people .

We stopped here for a dinner whilst we waited for our train. We ordered a few items off of the menu. We had honey dough balls, chicken wings, calamari. We had two pizzas, carbonara, chicken nugget things, and a cheesecake. The dough balls were really good. The calamari was also good, and the chicken wings were mediocre. However, it's all steeply down hill from here. One pizza was absolutely dripping with grease. It was, by far, the greasiest pizzas I've ever experienced. Every bite, oil just gushed out of the pizza onto the table, plate and your hands. Pools of grease settled on top, soaking into the thin dough, all covered by an absolute mountain of salad they put on top. The second pizza barely had any cheese on it at all. It also came out luke warm. The carbonara actually had burnt bits of pasta at the bottom of the bowl. It was black; charred. The chicken nuggets, again, just soaked in oil. You could literally squeeze the oil out of the chicken and batter. The cheesecake was almost £8, and it was nothing more than finger food; it was about as small as an hors d'oeuvres. I couldn't help but laugh when it came out, because that portion size was absolutely baffling for the price. The server, Josh (I think) what an absolute gentleman. He really was the highlight of the evening for us; very polite and very friendly with a few jokes. I wouldn't go back.

Every time l have been to Pizza Express in Ilkley. The staff are always friendly and polite. Food is lovely and you are always left feeling full and happy. It's a nice atmosphere to go to with friends to catch up and with the family for a lovely, chilled and relaxed experience and no washing up. 😊

Absolutely Rotten. Nice location, friendly staff. Food was nice (at the time). Got home and I had one of the worst episodes of food poisoning in recent times. It was a nice day outside and had lots to do. Instead I've crouched down on the floor of my living room shaking from the energy that has been sapped from me. I bitterly regret going here. They can mark my words, I'm not coming back not now, not ever. I'll relay this story on to anyone that asks. Word of advice; keep your receipt. If I had done I would have gone back to ask for a refund.

I'm sorry but it's just an overpriced, ordinary pizza. Not worth the 15 GBP. To little toppings and mostly dough and cheese. Service was okay.

Good food and service. We were a group of 10 and everything arrived promptly and well cooked. If you arrive after 6pm, the nearby street parking is free.

Disappointed with the Gluten free option, which was half the size of my husbands pizza, but the same price. That also means half the topping. I felt like I had a child's meal and I felt ripped off. Other eateries offer a full size meal at the same price for their gluten free option. Also, had to wait for the bill as staff too busy talking, and we were the only customers, which made "have you booked" funny when we walked in, as the place was empty. I won't be going again

Food is always lovely and fresh, however the tables are sizes of a box of tick tacks, I told the server that all the food will not fit on my table as I wanted my starters to come with my mains, then tells me the dough balls will be sent first as the pizza comes shortly after, even tho I just told him I want it all coming at once, the dough balls arrived 10 mins before my mains came, if you want to eat your food like 2 sardines squished in a tin then this is the place to be, the table next to us was paying there bill, while the waiter was bending over with the card machine while his backside was hovering over my partners pizza due to the tables being so crammed and small, I find this absolutely disgusting specially In the hospitality sector, we will not be returning, shame as the food is spot on.
