Always good pizza, with great service

Avoid, take you're money and don't deliver your food. It ain't hard to find an address all the other takeaways in town manage it apart from this one. Useless.

Oil oil oil. I've never seen so much oil on a pizza base. Reminds me of Pizzy Hut. Yuck And £3 delivery 0.5 mile away? Blimey.

Wish I’d saved my money. Pizza and fries cold. Item missing. No good bringing it after pizza has been delivered. Had this before when ordered extra toppings, paid for online, and not added. I’ll be checking if I’m issued a refund for missing item. At least tomorrow pizza will be hot after I’ve reheated it!!

I've only had a pizza from here once before and it was years ago. Ordered a pizza tonight with olives and garlic and some fries. Was really impressed. Food was lovely and still piping hot when we got it home. My boyfriend went to pick it up and said the staff and I think the owner were really nice. Definitely recommend

Both times I asked for delivery and both times I had to ring and ask where it was. The first time they completely forgot it and we had to go and collect it and the second time it took an hour and 20 mins to arrive. Pizza is extremely average you're better off ordering from dominoes

This was our go to for Pizza but not again. We used to love the pizza and great choice of sides. Ordered for delivery on Friday night. Website said 60 minutes but we were still waiting 2 hours later. When it arrived I asked the young lady if it was a busy night and she said “not really”. The food was cold and the loaded fries were inedible and would not have been saved by heating in the oven congealed with cheese. We ordered the piquitos which normally come with a sour cream dip but we got bbq. What a waste of almost £25. Never again. Very disappointing

Unfortunately it’s gone down hill. Greasy pizza (literally a pool of oil under the base), refried chips which resemble crisps, a phone line which is still suffering issues after 3 years. The pizza base used to be fluffy, with a nice char and one of the better ones for miles around. The chicken nuggets when in stock are consistently good as are the burgers, lasagne and chilli con carne. It is the pizzas that are most disappointing. EDIT: it’d also be good if you could build in a tiered delivery fee on the website, especially when it’s gone up to £3 now. £3 for half a mile is a bit much.

Past 3 times I've ordered pizza has been undercooked and soggy. Toppings sliding off, chips were cold. If you want a good pizza go to holmfirth or Honley davincis, Use to be good here but not anymore. Sadly gone down hill 🥲

Awful service, waited an hour and 30 mins for food and when we rung up to complain they rudely interrupted and hung the phone up, went there to see them and they laughed it off like a joke. They said keep your business we don’t want it. Food was barely warm as well. Going to take their advice and never eat there again. I recommend you do the same.

Was delivered in good time. But the pizza was seriously undercooked and soggy. I managed to get one and a half slices down me. But it was just too bad to eat anymore. I couldn't be bothered phoning in and waiting for another. This is the second not edible take away I've had from here. So won't be back ever again.

Ordered a calzone Kiev pitza tonight payed £10.40 which included deliver it was the worse calzone I have ever tried when it came it was completely cold flat and had no cheese in it had to add cheese of my own it was disgusting no flavour you need to take your reviews seriously or u will close down as no one will want to buy ur pitza will not be returning you have just lost 2 new customers I ordered on line if I could have my money back I would should have had cheese on toast at least I would have tasted better

Called in late after work and ordered a pizza that was advertised at £4.50 but when I came to pay they charged me £5.50 and when questioned I was told “prices have gone up”. Pizza was nice and service was good but I feel people should be aware the owner feels prices are flexible.

There’s not much they could do better! We order regularly from the slawit store and every time it is superb. Staff in the shop and delivery drivers are all super nice - sometimes there’s a longer wait but understandable due to high demand. I can highly recommend the pizzas (master leonardo and hog especially!), they are always cooked to perfection, and the burgers and pastas are always very good too. Keep it up guys!!

Always order from here and usually its fantastic the guys who work here and the delivery driver are fantastic but the girl on the phone is just too ditzy had to tell her the order multiple times then told me a price and it wouldn't arrive for the time i wanted it turned up early than she said and it was more money than what she said really don't think she has a clue what's she's doing

I feel like these guys deserve a decent review as I noticed a few bad ones but they are from a good few years ago as far as I could tell. Please don't let the old stuff put you off. The point is, I always really enjoy Da Vinci's Pizza, Slaithwaite, and have done for years. It is good value for money and delicious in my opinion. I never have any problems with customer service. In fact they once just gave me a free pizza because it was going spare. The delivery drivers are always decent people too. A business worth supporting.

Worst pizzas we have ever had and expensive. They used to be amazing from here, what happened? Even the dog refused to eat it.

Extra large Hog with spicy beef 😍. We placed an order Friday evening but due to some miscommunication we didn’t receive our pizza for a while. The customer service was fantastic in rectifying the order which as a customer that’s all you want. The pizza itself was absolutely banging as always. We ended up receiving our order for free, thanks guys for looking after us.

Delivery late, pizza cold, toppings burnt, deep pan hard, chips cold and soggy. Won't be ordering here again.

My partner and I had takeaway Pizza, Scampi and Burgers from here on Saturday and it was fantastic. The service at the premises was spot on, the young lads couldn't do enough for us and their observations of the Covid regulations were spot on. Everyone in the premises was wearing a mask, including the chefs. The food was delicious, we couldn't find any faults. We would definitely recommend Da Vinci's to anyone who asks for a reliable and tasty takeaway in Slawit 💞💞

The burgers are really good, the pizza most of the time also really good. Could not however recommend the pastas.

We have never been let down by the pizza. The quality is great. Sure if you want delivery you are going to have to wait and it may be colder, but if you collect, the order is never wrong and always hot. Ingredients are always fresh and tasty and they are prepared to tailor your pizza to how you like it.

Visited/got a delivery from da Vinci’s in Slaithwaite on many occasions, with both small and large orders. Food is always cooked nicely and when delivered it is delivered on time. It is always amazing when it gets here. On the odd occasion where something is wrong on an order (this has happened only twice over the many years we have been ordering) they have offered either to send us up the correct pizza or a discount on the next order. Guys there are all super friendly and great customer service. Couple of occasions where it has been slightly over an hour but phoned up and has always been either in the oven or on the way to us, understandably seeing as they must be very busy at times. Can’t really fault them, great food, great people, great company in general!! 10/10!

Wow we just realised we have such a gem on our doorstep, real pizza dough and quality ingredients! Absolutely loved it! Best Italian pizza in the area !

Ordered food from here once or twice was never a problem , ordered a take away last week waited over an hour for pizza and burger when delivered was totally wrong pizza not to mention looked like it had been dropped upside down was not even one full slice of pizza , rang to complain and they was helpful and said they would bring another pizza back waited another 35 mins to get the wrong pizza at least was in one piece rang to say I wanted money back obviously frustrated buy this time , may have got a bit angry but was right to be , they brought money back with a note saying don’t eat here again , RUDE RUDE wouldn’t recommend this place

Relatively new to Da Vinci’s, but can’t fault the pizzas at all, always hot and very tasty, will never go back to Dominoes, my only criticism is £2 for delivery when it’s less that five mins drive away.

Ordered take away from here. Usually we’d collect with us living very close by but decided to get delivery. Ordered well in advance and stated the time we needed it. Order arrived 30 minutes late and everything was cold. Cold rock hard chips really aren’t enjoyable! When we’ve collected before it’s been great but this occasion, very poor. It was a large order too so wasn’t cheap! Think they need to deliver food quicker in future as we’ll not be getting food delivered again!

Absolutely rubbish!!! For the second time they have charged extra for cheese on the chips but never put any cheese on. The burger is inedible full of lumps of grisle. An the amount they ask for when they deliver never matches what I add up from the menu. An our menu was new last month.

Deep pan base was rock hard and looked like it had been fried. Cheap anchovies made another one inedible. Not a good experience. Won't use them again.

Slight mishap with order going to meltham last night due to new person answering .the reason I give five stars is they took ownership and with no promting and resolved issue and when food arrived was lovely will use again 10/10

Da Vincis pizzas are really good. I especially like their bases, Perfect for my liking. They do the usual stuff but their HOG is immense.

Got the menu through the post, which was well layed out and plenty of choice. We decided to give it a try tonight, the service is great and staff are well organised and clean. As soon as i placed my order the food was getting made straight away, within 15 min my order was ready. When I started to eat my food, I new this was the right choice, the starter were very nice and well presented, the pizzas were very tasty and not greasy like most takeaways, the chicken and bacon ceasar salad was cooked perfect. definitely recommend this place to anyone, will be going back here again very soon.

This takeaway never fails to get my order wrong. I find 'Yeah the phone is dodgy' an unacceptable excuse, for getting my order completely wrong on numerous occasions. With no apology, or offer to rectify my order I have gone home with my order, which is never hotter than lukewarm. I will never buy from any Da Vinci's again- waste of money and time.

Love the pizza and the pasta here. My family live in Slaithwaite and they order from here regularly. Best to call in or order early as it seems to get very busy.

The pizzas here a thin crust and they are delicious. The chicken nuggets are a unique coating that tastes fantastic, especially with their curly fries!

Love these guys, the pizza's are fab and so is the pasta I highly recommend Tagliatelle alla Creme, yum! And very prompt delivery, it's always hot and the guys who deliver are very friendly.

We enjoy the take away meals, which are always as described and are delivered promptly. The food is always the same quality and arrives hot.

Had another fantastic experience tonight I thought it could not get better but it has all the food was faultless freshly made and tasty a must try take away.
