Absolutely fuming about the service at this particular pizza express. Got no good service whatsoever and when we asked the man pointed a finger and said wait like we are animals. We got no good service whatsoever. Really shocked to see pia express with staff not trained whatsoever.

Just like to say this was the third time to sit outside at the end due to having a rescue dog who’s scared and can be challenging at times with people around and other animals. But always feel welcomed bringing her here. Pizza express staff seen me get a table with my friend outside and with it being hot and with the dog being thirsty too, without asking they brought a large bowl of water for Luna 🐕 I was speechless 😊 Rob, Sywia and Ana was outstanding and went the extra mile. Really made our night. Can you please pass on our thanks to them? See you soon x

First time to this pizza express restaurant in Leeds. At the entrance we were welcomed by Lela an Amazing person. Always with a smile got us a table and serve us like VIP food was great and the Lela once more always with a big smile and super professional. From my 6 year old: it looks really beautiful. Like, the food was really nice especially the best bit. That's why I love it so much. To any other 6 year old coming here I think they should buy the margherita. For a drink it was the yummiest drink ever. It was the summer berries. I would say it's just the best ever and a big thank you to all the chefs because they are very good chefs and the most thing I love about this is the food so well done chefs.

Absolutely disgusting £17.00 for tiny pizza. Arrived cold and the chicken was old and smelt. Paid for extra onions and had about 2 shreds of onion on the whole pizza. Soggy base and old ingredients, never again!

Customer service is great! I dropped my paper hat on the floor and a waiter picked it up and put it directly back on my head. 10/10.

Stayed at the holiday inn around the corner and got hungry so thought we would get a pizza,wish we hadn’t.The hostess acted like she didn’t want my business then we got the pizza and it went down hill from there.There is thin crust and then there’s THIN crust our pizza was cooked on a crust that was as thin the wraps you would use in a Burrito.20+ pounds for a pizza cracker is a joke.

Pretty decent food and service although the GF pizza crust was a bit “limp” but we took leftovers home and heated in the oven which made it much tastier. The pollo pesto pasta- gluten free - was delicious as was the side salad. We really appreciate the gluten free options for coeliac patrons.

2 hours to send a pizza 60 seconds across the road. It was not worth the wait. Never again, take the p for the price

Absolutely loved the vegetarian Soho 65 pizza. It was recommended by their server Jhanvi. She really made our experience here outstanding! We would definitely come back soon!!!

Pizza as a whole is tasty but the pie/crust in it is wafer-thin. It was extra transparent with side of see through. But overall preparation and delivery quick enough

I went with my family of 6 and had an amazing and memorable time. The food was delicious, but what made this especially lovely was the service! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Big shout out to our server Sylwia who made this lunch particularly special. She was so attentive and kind to us and especially our toddler! I would definitely come back! More places should have a Sylwia!

We were staying at Holiday Inn just around the corner. Plenty of tables on a Monday at 8pm, great service, delicious food, £100 for 2 which was mainly cost of alcohol. £30 bottle of wine 3 g and t’s £25. Food great value and delicious. Lovely staff 👍🏽

shock, the worst pizza I've ever seen in my life because I didn't even eat it, the sight itself was disgusting.

We had a pizza party at the Leeds Dock restaurant for our child's birthday. Luke and the team went above and beyond and the (very noisy!) kids loved it. It was stress free and Luke really made it a lot of fun for the children - I would highly recommend - the food was lovely too!

We visit Pizza Express Leeds on our trip to Royal Armouries yesterday…Great place for pizza. Top choice. Atmosphere and service was fantastic. We’ve been host by Sylwia who take care of us in higher expectation. She was kind, welcome us warm, had great knowledge of products. Highly recommended.

Classic pizzas and italian dishes

Writing this review on behalf of the amazing, kind and professional staff who were working on the eve of 13 Feb, particularly the waiter who served us (who's name I unfortunately didn't ask for!) We came in with a new friend who was in much need of a warm drink, relaxed environment and safe space to chat. The staff provided us with that and more, speedy service and no questions asked. I really admired their excellent service, compassion and professionalism and I couldn't be more willing to visit again. The hot chocolate was particularly delicious and it was made ten times better by the kind people working there. Thank you so much!

Pizzas took a long time and pizzas were soggy and weren’t great quality for the price. Won’t be ordering again as just wasn’t worth what we paid.

It was incredible afternoon at Pizza Express Leeds Docks yesterday. We had celebrated 8th Birthday there. Staff, Mangenent and all the Chefs did a fantastic service rewarded 5 stars from us all !!!! Pizza and all food was delicious and well presented, fantastic chocolate cake, cheerfull Happy Birthday from all the Staff made Mia's birthday very special. Thank you very much to you all. Highly recommended place!

Fabulous service from the team especially Treyz who even though it was a busy service kept us happy. Food was good and good price. Only criticism is the restaurant acoustics are poor, a loud environment at height of service. But we will be back!

'NDUJA CALZONE absolutely beautiful

Order a Pizza 20 minutes late call serval times no answer after 20 minutes I called them and they said that it had been delivered 25 minutes ago but no one answered I have idea how this happened as I was sitting downstairs the whole time.spent around 25 and it never came thanks allot thanks a lot PizzaExpress. First time trying to get a pizza from PizzaExpress and doesn’t show up.

The food was great and it was amazing

My first visit to this branch of Pizza Express. Located behind the Royal Armouries on a corner site you'd expect this place to be packed, but no. Maybe it was the time of year(January) or the weather (Bitterly Cold & Rain) but the place only had 3 tables with customers at 1 o'clock. The food was fine but the service was steady verging on slow. Would visit again if I'm in that part of town but it's not worth a special trip.

Originally told us delivery was at 16:15 as i ordered at 15:45 and it didn't come till 17:35.Kept updating the time later and later and in the end arrived all cold.Rude service from the driver too

Service was nice and quick. Food was okay, pasta was too spicy which is kind of strange as Italian pasta can’t be spicy and I don’t remember asking for it to be spicy. Other than that everything was good. They have plenty of seats indoors and outdoors.

Really tasty pizzas with great delivery. Only issue is they weren't cut very well.

Always enjoy coming here. Staff a very friendly and welcoming. Food is always nice, always great offers available. Location is nice. Plenty of space and not too crowded. A year on and it is still our favourite restaurant. Silwia is always so welcoming and lovely and recommends new dishes on the menu and makes time to follow up if we're happy with our food. If you haven been, highly recommend!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I ordered on Uber eats and 3 delivery drivers came to the restaurant and they cancelled their job because it wasn’t ready after I’ve 59 minutes. The restaurant cancelled the entire order after making me wait for almost an hour, I’m very disappointed and given the prices you would think the service would be a bit better. I’ll be letting my friends know where to avoid if they’re ever in this area of Leeds looking for somewhere to eat, as it seems a lot of customers have the same issues when they’re eating in. If this pizza “express” isn’t equip it to run a take away service they should take themselves off Uber eats to avoid customer dissatisfaction.

Pizza was a little small. Paid for pepperoni to be added but not much on pizza

I recently went here with work colleagues and it was great , the food was very tasty and well presented and quick service considering it was quite busy , luke was very attentive and polite and provided great customer service, all in all a great experience had by all we shall be going back very soon

Our waitress Dasha was very friendly and helpful, especially with using the app for member perks. Food was excellent. Would definitely come again!!

What a lovely place with very friendly staff. We went to Leeds for a day with my partner and we haven't tried Pizza Express before so we thought this is the time for it. It was quite busy actually but we never mind a bit of wait as long as food comes out great. We had calamari and doughball as a starter and we shared a romana pizza with some polenta chips. Food was so so tasty and compare to how busy they were, service was well quick! Thanks again for the lovely food and service, we will be back!! :)

Very slow service. We had to wait 10 mins for our order to be taken. And after our group ordered the food, it took them minimum 45 mins to deliver. Until then we were not even hungry. The food was good but not filling enough. However, at the end when we paid money- one of my friend’s money got deducted from her bank but the card receipt showed declined.

Booked delivery for 5:30, rang and asked at 6, which seemed to get the order moving. Arrived at 6:20. Childrens pizzas burned. Other food was not great as it had obviosuly been sat waiting so was, chewy and lukewarm.

I am actually shocked the size of the pizza is tiny for the price u pay amd garlic bread never seen just some doe together with cheese in middle would never recommend here to anyone

Little treat after 10,000 steps in the Royal Armouries. So nice to sit outside and have a nice meal. Food was lovely, volcano hot ! Staff really pleasant.

The food is ok and tasty, there is an option to order a gluten free pizza which is a big plus but the size of the dish is not adequate to the price.

The waiter and waiters are so friendly. The garlic prawn pizza was delicious could do with more garlic on the prawn . My husband calzone was nice

Staying overnight on the Docks and was looking forward to eating out. Unfortunately the Cannery had stopped serving food. We ( my husband and I) decided to get a pizza. We opted to eat in. I ordered a Florentina and hubby ordered the BBQ Burnt end of beef. Small bottle of Peroni was £5 and I mean small. When the Pizza came I was suprised that mine was quite small but looked ok. I have had better from my local Pizza place and a lot cheaper. The crust was extremely thin not just thin. My husbands pizza was larger but it was burnt on the edges. It was supposed to be burnt ends of beef not burnt pizza. Again the base being so thin then burnt it was like charcoal. There was very little meat on it and a few tomatoes The service was ok but it should have been because was almost empty. I haven't eaten at a pizza express before and doubt I will again. I can only say it was very very dissappointing. Over priced and not very good.

Great food and service as always

Ignored by waiting staff on entrance who appeared to be engaged in some kind of meeting. Was rescued by one of the chefs who noticed our predicament. He got us seated, but then it took ages for anyone to take our order. The food was acceptable, but on leaving the staff made no effort to say goodbye, perhaps that was because we paid by app. Frustrating as we left a nice tip.

I've never ordered a pizza and had it delivered unsliced before. I don't think it's something I'll be doing from here again.

I always visit this Pizza Express when in Leeds. Excellent friendly service and great food. The staff are very friendly, especially Sylwia who always has a welcoming smile, just what is needed after a hard day in the office.

Waited over 25 minutes for a kids Cheese pizza in an empty restaurant. Told the manager we were leaving due to the super slow service to which his atittude was appaulling. Complete waste of time!!
