Shawarma King in Leeds

Went after a gig. Food and customer service was terrible. Order pizza with pepperoni on top so crispy, it came with underneath. Quarried it may as well have thrown the pizza at me for asking. Very rude bad customer service. Tasted awful and soggy. Garlic was more like mint flavour. Asked for chips cheese and garlic. Got a small portion of skinny fries with cheese and a pot of garlic. Would never go back,

Best Halal food take away in. Center. You cannot go wrong with their chicken shawarma. Portion is big and taste is amazing. Open till 6 am and above all its pocket friendly. A jumbo chicken shawarma plus fries and drink costed me 7.99 pounds.

Rubbish Service! placed an order and it never arrived, yet the message I received said it had been delivered!

The food was delivered over one hour later than advertised. When it arrived it was cold. I am not a person to complain however I feel only necessary to do so on this occasion. Typically your service is excellent

It was a very bad experience. The chicken was not fresh; it was obviously from the previous day or even older. The worst part was that there was a piece of chicken skin among the chicken. I can't believe it. It was the worst experience ever.

half my order didn't turn up, rang them up and they blamed it on the business been busy, asked them to bring the rest of what I'd paid for for them to refuse saying its too busy, then had the cheek to say if I buy something else they'll bring what I'm owed 😂 definitely won't be ordering from here again

Food pushed back on delivery time by close to an hour, the food was almost cold when arrived. Chicken kebab was full of grease, don't think I'll try again.

Food was excellent and hot on delivery. One small thing - ordered diet coke - can of pepsi recieved instead. Nearly 5 stars.

I wanted a big mixed wrap with chips and a drink for cheap, I got exactly that. The wrap was well made and not falling apart, the order was prepared with care and nothing was missing, the chips were good as well, the wrap was spicy but not too hot, would use again, thanks!

We had a chicken shawarma wrap that was good. We are from India and from many days we are in search of some spicy and halal nonveg food. We found this shop and we are happy to eat the shawarma.

Asked for a large donner meal. Asked if they could do mixed donner and chicken, ended up paying £1 extra for no reason, doesn't state it on the menu, once challenged they just shrugged it off. Used these guys for years an now all of a sudden been ripped off... Will think twice before using again.

Only closes between 6 am to 10 am, very convenient for night shift workers, chicken and meat shawarma with chips or naan, pizzas available too, a few seating options, delivery available too.

Tried to order online to get a burger but the only options were as a meal or as a meal … tried ordering over the phone and they kept ignoring that I was saying it doesn’t work online and hung up on me …. Food might have been nice but I’ll never know because of the lack of customer service.

Absolutely awful Portion size very small for the price & the quality of the food was not great. I ordered kebab and chips and the chips were soggy and not seasoned. The kebab has lots of gristle in it, I can not eat this.

I didnt even receive half of my food… When I called back politely, the guy said the shop was closing. The shop closes at 12pm. It was only 9pm. After putting me 5 minutes on hold, he cut the phone off on me. I called back and he cut the phone off again. I am just really disappointed they do this to people and make a living off of it.

There is no taste in food, it was cold and the guy who served doesn't know how to do customer facing jobs.

Ordered on deliveroo, got wrong order and no drink so rang them up and they were refusing responsibility and would not send another driver out.

Ordered food shortly after midnight and app stated delivery by 1am Called at 1.15 to be told the driver refused to deliver but the shop didn't even have the decency to call to inform me. I can only imagine the Uber driver refused because we don't tip up front. How are you going to tip before receiving a service? We always tip on receipt. Hope I can give zero stars. Don't waste your time!

Shawarma King is the best place in the world. No debate. Jokes aside this place has the best shawarma in Leeds and their food never fails to satisfy my hungry stomach after a night out.

So this comes with an utter disappointment...this was the worst shwarma I have ever eaten in my life. So dry, with no authentic sauce. The meat inside the shwarma is very chewy and the naan bread they used was very cold. I felt like I was chewing some rubber honestly I couldn't finish my swarma and they only have a cash system which I didn't know after food, I again had to run to the atm to withdraw money. The service was very bad. They only deserve 0.

The lamb is not Shawarma it is doner and a very poor quality one as well. You can taste the cheapness of the "meat" Chicken shawarma was nice but there are 3-4 other places in the area that are levels above so I probably won't be back.

I tried meal from them for the first time, it was pathetic, wastage of money, not at all recommended, the burgers are too dry and even the prices are high. I dont mind paying high for tasty food but this one was really awful.

Bad salad to sauce ratio, the guy but too much hot sauce when I only asked for a bit. The kebab was unedible and too saucy to eat. It was cold and the salad was rubbish. It's only saving grace was the nan bread it was served it.

Perfect place after a night out for 3 hungry Chefs, one of the best kebabs I have had. A must visit if you are nearby and hungry.

I had a chicken shawarma wrap that was good. Nothing to write home about and nothing to complain about. However, despite eating inside and despite the takeaway not being busy (there were clearly no other customers or takeaway orders being prepared) I was served stone cold chips. At the very least they could have thrown the half cooked yellow fries back into a fryer to heat and crisp them up

Ordered from on just eat. First order they forget a wrap meal. Second order they forget hummus, chips, salad and sent full fat Pepsi instead of diet coke. Waste of time ordering from them if they only send half of your food.

Staff were very friendly. The food was soo delicious and the portion was a good amount and the food was freshly made. Definitely coming back again.

Asked for meat without bread but with salad because it was late. Got meat only. They asked if I wanted sauce. I said yes. They asked if I wanted sauce again. I said yes. They asked for a third time and I finally understood they meant "which sauce". I asked for chilli sauce. I got ketchup. The meat was grey and sort of ok, but with ketchup was just odd. No tomato or lettuce as ordered. Given the language problems and how late it was I didn't try to correct anything. The first server was nice, the second surly. Friends had "a boring burger" and "some quite bad onion rings". Will avoid in future.

Absolutely appalling worst food I’ve ever had and the worst service gave us the wrong order and when we complained they said we should ring up Deliveroo and tell them because we ordered through Deliveroo and the worker said that it’s not his problem refused to give his name and then hung up the phone and never answered when I called back multiple times and they took over 1 hour to deliver the food

The finest, sweetest Shawarma wrap I've found in West Yorkshire. Always tastes fresh and good and always safely fills me up enough to enjoy a gig in town afterwards. It's not much to look at from the outside (or inside for that matter) but the food does all of the talking. Delicious.

After a long day today, i plucked up a delightful appetite, assuming shawarma king would be a delicious meal to end the day. How wrong i was, i ordered a burger and chips and ive seen more appealing brown shapes fall out of my back side. Luckily i was able to find salvation in the thought of tucking into a Chicken Shawarma Wrap, perhaps hope afterall? Incorrect. Tasted like road kill. Utterly ashamed that i have exposed myself to such a fowl takeaway and i wont forget this horrendous night.

Just your average take away place but staff is something they really need to work on. Language was an issue and it took me sometime to make them understand what I wanted even tho it was on the menu already. Food was normal. Price however was reasonable.

To be honest my expectations were high as I’ve driven past this shop on several occasions, the actual food was poor, chips were cardboard tasting and naan bread was shop bought and for the price I’d be expecting home made, i guess if you went here after a night out you may like it, but this is my first and last time £18 for two kebabs and chips with no effort put at all

Very good, quick service and tasty food. Value for money excellent! Only thing that let mine down was the naan bread! Not a fresh naan, but if it was it would have been 5 star. Ideally would give 4.5 but not possible!

I recently visited this takeaway on a boozy night out, if only i was of a sober mind to realise the grave mistake i had made. Come Monday evening i had awful cramp and felt nauseated all day. I went to sleep thinking i could sleep it off and passed it off as a bad stomach. Come 4:30 in the morning i was extremely unwell with severe food poisoning. It is now 3 days later and i still have no energy and an inability to keep food and liquids down. I have never felt so weak. please avoid this place at all costs. I rang the environmental agency to make them aware of how unwell this establishment had made me. They informed me that they had 3 other calls from this weekend with suspected food poisoning ! Due to covid they haven’t visited the shop since 2018 ! In 2018 they were only awarded a 3 !! disgraceful Disgusting, dirty and left me feeling horrendous

Ordered a takeaway waiting a hour then didn’t come got charged for it delivery driver said road closed phoned restaurant man can’t even speak no English then put phone down don’t order from the place absolute waste of time AVOID lucky I don’t live to close because I would be of to go see him

Good service and nice tasting food all round including kebabs, shawarma, pizzas etc; nothing exceptional but the quality seems consistent, prices are about average. Food can sometimes be lazily seasoned but that can probably be attributed to the staff being very busy. One of the better late night takeaway spots in Leeds.

Another gem in Leeds! A takeaway that is great flavour with great price! A lot of the takeaways here are jacking their price ridiculously high with “meh” food but this place has great food with good price.

Good fast food but not the best for their prices.

Good location, fab staff, quick service and amazing foods! The portion is quite big and satisfying. Good selection and vegan friendly. Me and my friend go there a lot for the falafel wrap. It is so simple but so tasty. There was more than one time that I bought one more for the next day since they open after 10am but I needed something to eat early in the morning. I put it in the microwave and the falafel wrap was still super yummy. I like their long working time since it is really convenient - no matter when you go you can always get some hot foods from them!
