Roccos Restaurant in Doncaster

No es nuestra primera visita, pero no volveremos por un tiempo. Ajuste: bueno - aunque la música no ahoga el sonido de las personas que maldicen dentro de sus conversaciones (que nunca hemos experimentado allí antes) Personal: bueno - parecen tener poca experiencia. Nadie hace contacto visual. Aunque es bastante agradable. Órdenes no del todo bien, pero aún así bien. Comida: media. Pan de ajo con mozzarella, no muy bien. Las aceitunas no llegaron. Gambas bien. Mains: risotto encantador, ravioli de langosta bueno, equilibrio de carne de cangrejo para langosta, muy abrumador con cangrejo, filete pobre. El filete en sí era un hermoso corte de carne, pero medio raro, no sale seco, ni una gota de sangre por ver, solo un ligero interior de rosa. Bebidas: vino horrendo Postres: solo pedí helado para mi hija mayor, demasiado, pero bueno tienen que justificar el precio supongo. ¿Qué ha pasado con Rocco? Lamento decir que no es lo mismo y que no volveremos pronto.

Comida y servicio excepcionales. Después de un reciente hipo cuando la comida estaba fría, hemos vuelto dos veces. En ambas ocasiones la comida estaba caliente, muy sabrosa y agradable. El servicio era perfecto. El personal de Roccos realmente lo intenta... no siempre es perfecto, pero ¿qué es? Sin embargo, es comida de buena calidad en un entorno hermoso y ambiental que es a la vez moderno y con clase. Todo crédito a Alison y al equipo.

Roccos eran geniales acomodando a un grupo de 10 personas. Tan hospitalario y amable! ¡No veo la hora de volver! Gran servicio!

Sirvió gambas reales crudas en un plato de pasta. Cuando informamos a la camarera, no recibimos comentarios sobre nuestro resumen del plato. King gamberoni langostino. El plato consistía en pequeños langostinos con 6 / 7 langostinos reales arrojados en el plato. Traté de cortar en un langostino medio cocido / medio crudo. Lado cocido muy masticable. La pizza infantil, no era una verdadera pizza italiana. El restaurante estaba vacío un domingo por la tarde.

La mejor comida italiana que hemos probado. Hemos estado un par de veces ahora. Hermoso interior y servicio rápido amable. Realmente no puedo culpar a este lugar que es excepcional.

Well where do I start? Absolutely awful service and food! Had high expectations and it was just grim. Was half way through a starter before getting offered a drink. Waited a long time, then was served cold food. The chicken was black on the inside and outside, was not edible. Large twig was found in soup. Lots of bay leaves left in food which is just sloppy and disappointing. I am writing this review from the bathroom as I have been vomiting, violently. DONT BOTHER

We popped in on a Wednesday lunchtime and were seated no problem. Lovely waiting staff, fabulous menu, great drinks. We ate from the lunch menu 3 courses for £29 or 2 courses for £26. We had calamari and garlic mushrooms, the burger (WOW!) and the salmon with prawns on a bed of risotto. Perfect 👌. Then ice-cream and tiramisu. Nom nom. All lovely. Pint of coke and a large rose wine £77 including the service charge. For the quality of food I think a good price. We love it and live in the village so it's win win for us.

We decided to give this restaurant a try. First impressions were good. Friendly greeting. Nice decor. We chose the Funghi Aglio stater not too bad could have been less salty, and couple of extra pieces of bread ( as we were sharing) My wife then had the Mare Arabella, on the whole not to bad apart from the stone cold andrubbery mussels ( we complained a second portion was made, exactly the same issue) When we complained about the mussels we have to explain to 3 different members of staff I had the burger, it was seasoned very well, but too dry. After a few bites I couldn't eat any more. When we complained the reply was " no one else has complained " We asked for the bill " which we paid in full including the discretionary service charge " How ever thinking about it we should have asked that this be deducted from the bill At no point was any discount offered ( we wouldn't have taken it) but that's not the point We both work in hospitality needless to say we will not be paying a second visit or giving out our recommendation

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Natasha who served us was lovely and very helpful and knowledgeable.

Visited for my son’s 21st birthday with the family. Alison was fabulous and had everything in had for me cake and balloons all laid out ready for us on arrival. Food and drinks were fabulous. Very clean inside.

8 of us recently visited for my friends Birthday. We were greeted by a gentleman named Marco, who would go on to look after us for the rest of night. Variety of cocktails available on the menu. I ordered the duck ragu however the kitchen ran out which was the only downside to my night. I was recommended the wild boar ragu which I usually wouldn’t go for but was not disappointed. Overall we had an incredible evening and all 8 of us will definitely be returning.

I come into the restaurant on the 8th March sorry I haven’t done a review before now but I’ve been working away I would like to say the experience wasn’t very good by a young lady she was very rude to us As for the lady who was bringing the food was perfect told us the names of the food and also was very experienced I would like you to give her a compliment on how she was working she asked us if we needed anything else and also told us that the salt and pepper was in the middle of the table. And before leaving she also said enjoy I think she had red hair

Lovely comfortable set out restaurant . Went for lunch on our wedding anniversary. Enjoyed a lovely authentic meal. Excellent service received throughout from staff members James R & Sam who were so friendly and professional and made us very welcome. Will definitely be going again with our family & friends.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch at Rocco last week - would highly recommend the beef. Brilliant food and atmosphere and we were very well looked after by Sapphire. Always an enjoyable experience and very much looking forward to having a drink and food in lovely courtyard during the summer.

Having spent 10 years in the restaurant industry I fully understand the value of good staff. The staff here could not be more helpful whether it’s a full dining experience or just a quick drink. Whilst all the staff are obviously well trained 2 stood out for me on my visits over the past months one is Sam I’m not sure of his position at present but he’s definitely got it as a manager of the future and Kacey on the bar couldn’t be more helpful always has a smile …5 Stars you 2 . I came with my family for drinks and we were initially greeted by the manager Alison with a smile and made to feel welcome straight away. The young manager Sam looked after us and was very attentive. Nothing was too much for the staff who treated me and my family to a great afternoon of aperitifs and popcorn!

Not been in a few years but the food was just as great as we remember and couldn't fault the service at all, James Ryder was on top of it from the moment we sat down.

We have visited this establishment on a regular basis since becoming business owners in Tickhill. Without doubt a premier establishment in Doncaster in terms of ambience, setting, authenticity, service and atmosphere. Whether we visit for drinks after work, an intimate dinner or lunch on the terrace we have always had fabulous food, unrivalled service and a vibrant atmospheric buzz about the place. Despite being very busy at peak times, the staff are always very attentive and I must say that Alison, the Manager at this restaurant runs a tight ship, always super clean, tables cleared fast, seated promptly and you never feel hurried. A thoroughly enjoyable dining experience every time.

We are really lucky to have Rocco’s on our doorstep. We often pop in for a drink and Alison is always welcoming. Tickhill wouldn’t be quite the same without it!

Came for a quick bite with my family and absolutely loved it and will definitely be coming back! I had a piadina which is like an Italian sandwich of sorts, perfect for a lite bite at lunch. The manager told us the boys that had served us were both called James! and if we could mention them by name in a review it would great which we are very happy to do so as they were kind and helpful.

Wow. This is the biggest joke of a restaurant I have ever seen. I swear my unborn child could manage the place better than this. The food don’t even get me started it’s far too overpriced especially since what I ate tasted like regurgitated waste. The staff well few looked to be doing their job I even saw one lady who was “working” if you can call it that as she spent nearly the entire night on her phone. It was like an unorganised jungle. I will not be eating here again! I recommend nobody else does either.

Saturday evening meal out with family. Very enjoyable. Restaurant was packed but luckily we had booked in advance and had a great table. The meal was very good and there was an excellent choice of both starters and main course.

Picked this place at random really for my birthday, never been before. Have to say the food was superb, the king prawn tagliatelle was the tastiest thing I've eaten in a long time. Friendly staff, nice surroundings with no loud music to drown your conversation. Recommended.

I must start this review by saying that the food was really nice, as always, and the waitresses were very friendly and helpful throughout. However my dining experience was tarnished by the managers unwelcoming attitude and her desire to make us feel more of an inconvenience than paying customers.

Probably the worst place l have had the misfortune to visit... l begrudge paying extortionate prices on poor food that tastes terrible. But the worst part is telling the "manageress" who told me l eat that 3 times a week and I LIKE IT ??? Really! Left the food left the "restaurant" lol .... poorer in pocket and absolutely starving. Went to the chip shop and enjoyed our food that had some flavour. And the manger was delightful. Would never go back even if l was offered FREE FOOD.

Personal de Rocco's son acogedores, encantador y eficiente. Ellos crean un ambiente realmente estupendo de diversión y relajación. Siempre es una buena opción para el café, almuerzo o cena para cualquier edad. He estado aquí con bebés y mujeres en sus 80 y todos tienen la misma consideración y bienvenido. La comida es buena y variada. Lo que no gusta.

Fantastic surroundings, outside and in. The staff were brilliant , very friendly and attentive , but the food was just average . I was disappointed , the food just lacked a little something. Would I return ? Yes to give it one more chance for the food to impress .
