The best restaurants serving Italian food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Well where do I start? Absolutely awful service and food! Had high expectations and it was just grim. Was half way through a starter before getting offered a drink. Waited a long time, then was served cold food. The chicken was black on the inside and outside, was not edible. Large twig was found in soup. Lots of bay leaves left in food which is just sloppy and disappointing. I am writing this review from the bathroom as I have been vomiting, violently. DONT BOTHER

Visitamos Rocco's durante el fin de semana. La comida era excepcional! Los sabores increíbles y el entrante de temporada de vieiras con puré de castañas era encantador. Cada plato que pedimos era de primera clase. El servicio fue fantástico y rápido. Gracias Rocco por una gran noche.

I have reviewed this restaurant before but have not been for a few years, I returned on a Saturday night, it was very busy, we were seated quickly but then we were left without anyone taking drinks order or food order, I had to ask a member of staff to take our orders for drinks and food. The starters arrived quickly enough given how busy it was, and the mains as well. All the food was hot and very tasty, can’t criticise the food at all, staff were busy so maybe make an allowance for their slow order taking. Would I go back yes I would.

Came here on Xmas day and well what can I say!! The food the service the atmosphere SPOT ON. 10 of us came hot plates, beautifully cooked turkey and veg and husband also mentioned his beef wellington was the best he had. Would definitely recommend

Just been with friends again and never disappointed service and food always great will recommend anytime !

Visited before a movie on February 17th 2025. Waited over an hour for our food with no apology or explanation. Staff simply cannot be bothered. Restaurant manager out of his depth without a doubt!!!!

Hoy celebramos la fiesta de cumpleaños de mi hija aquí y toda la experiencia fue excelente. Los niños decoraron sombreros de pizza a su llegada y luego se les dio a cada uno una porción de bolas de masa. Después de esto, hicieron pizzas con el chef. Él era excelente - explicando el proceso de hacer pizzas de una manera divertida para los niños de 6 años y realmente involucrar a los niños. Mientras las pizzas se cocinaban, la camarera tocaba sillas musicales con ellos! Después de la pizza, tomaron helado. El personal era atento durante todo el tiempo y los niños dijeron que era la mejor fiesta de cumpleaños que habían estado. Nos gustaría comentar.

Nice food, really nice food actually but owner/chef was so rude and made us feel like an inconvenience. Feel sorry for the staff. He said 'well you never booked...' excuse me but yes we did! Plus an hour wait for 4 pizzas and 2 pastas, when they were half full, shouldnt be a problem for anywhere!

Cold coffees at £4.50 a shot and tea room pastries at £4.95 . Toasted sandwiches like rubber. Get a grip your in Filey not London

A couple of years ago I suggested that the Caffè Nero branch in Saturday Market was a tad dowdy and in need of a refurb. Nothing has changed and from aesthetic and comfort perspectives it is a below average branch of the chain. The service was quick and good however and our coffees up to the usual high standard.

Horrific. Just had to cut the garlic bread myself after ordering a 12” and receiving a 10” luke warm and bland. Good bye Efes

Enjoyed a quick gelato sweet treat. Staff are very polite. The shop is also nice and clean too. Definitely worth a try if you have a sweet tooth

Actualice el menú de su sitio web: dice que los artículos con parmesano son vegetarianos, pero llamamos y dijeron que su parmesano no es vegetariano. Muy molesto porque somos vegetarianos estrictos y habíamos pedido artículos que estaban etiquetados con V y dicho parmesano en ellos antes.

Absolutely lovely food. The pizza base was beautiful. Came all way from Cleethorpes to try them. Will definitely be coming back
