Roundhay pizza express in Leeds

This place needs closing down. The staffare very rude, they handle basil leaves with their fingers. The female Asian manager argued with my wife, and argued and argued. My wife asked asked if the goats chess was vegetarian, we got yes, no, yes, no. Then we got WELL IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY MEAT IN IT. Its cheese !!!!! The hygiene is disgusting, at least at front of house. At no point did any one come up to us and ask if everything is ok. They forgot about my coleslaw. Look just do not go here, they have lost it entirely, choose somewhere else. I have enclosed my wifes starter and how it looked, and the image from their own website. Do they look the same to you ??

My friends had the vegan pizza each with the deal buy one and get the other for £1. They ate them but said it was not the best. I had the new one Meatball Italiano, with the thinner crisper base and it was exceptional. I am not a great lover of pizza and would generally not go for one for my dinner, But I would now for this fabulous pizza. I took two large slices home as too good to leave and I had them for my breakfast the next morning. We did not know we had to down the app to get the deal as the board outside did not mention this and neither did the waitress who advised us when we got an inflated bill that she did not need to tell us, but she quickly sorted out the problem and gave us the bill with the pizza for £1. What a good deal that is. Need to see if it is on in Glasgow??

I’ve recently been struggling with going out to restaurants as I’m gluten free and as of recently can’t have dairy. The team that served me this evening were so helpful and lovely and did everything they could for me. I asked for a pizza without cheese and the lady asked me if I would like a small section with vegan cheese on to try it, the chef brought it out to me and showed me he’d just put a bit on for me to try.

ordered takeaways. pizzas were shocking. soggy, undercooked, amazingly they managed to have 2 soggy bases as well. contacted them and was told it isn't their problem

Lovely venue, staff are very friendly and the deputy manager was bright and bubbly. She gave me some great recommendations for food (vegan and regular options). All of the staff were smiley and attentive. Will be coming back again soon for sure! 🙂

Service was very bad. Waiter gave us all dirty plates and claimed it was clean. Didn’t apologize. Asked for tap water but pretended that they couldn’t hear me. Waited 1 hour for a pizza. Their attitude is unprofessional. Will never come back.

We went for a Mother’s Day meal with 3 Adults and 3 Children. Apparently the waiters / waitress are supposed to ask if anyone in your party is allergic to anything. This didn’t happen. Why not? My granddaughter is Allergic to Lactose. This could have resulted in a serious problem for her. They are slow, the food was quite average and it was a shame as a few years ago it was good. My son’s pizza arrived with raw mushrooms on it, they were supposed to be cooked. We were in there for about 2 1/2 hours because they were so slow. It wasn’t busy in there either. Personally I will not return and when it’s so bad it’s an utter waste of money.

I’ve eaten out at this restaurant so many times and the food was amazing, really couldn’t fault it. Unfortunately I’m now disabled and can’t get there, so I have to have it delivered. This has been been a huge disappointment, yes the products are still fresh but they miss ingredients off, so comes with missing flavour. Don’t bother adding to your pizza with extras, you won’t get them or they might be a couple, if you’re lucky. Just because I can’t now get to the restaurant, I’m apparently only going to get substandard food. So disappointed.

Ate here on 9th November which was a Tuesday evening. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful throughout the meal. We ordered 4 meals which was 3 different pizzas and a calzone. The food arrived reasonably quickly and all I can say was that at the end of the meal there were 4 empty plates! We all thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and all four of us said that we’d definitely eat here again. Excellent evening.

Great service. Staff and management are friendly and attentive. Food is consistently good. We’ve been frequenting the street Lane branch for many years and although the restaurant could do with a refurb we always have a lovely time.

We went for my Grandson’s 7th Birthday for dinner. I found the service extremely poor and the waiter was unsure of offers that were ongoing by Pizza Express. My salad had items missing, my son’s pizza was soggy and not cooked properly. The Manageress was quite condescending which as a customer I am not used to. It put a dampener on my Grandson’s Birthday. I would NOT recommend it here.

La semana antes de Navidad y la hora del almuerzo es nuestra. ¡Vayamos a un lugar que sabemos que es bueno! Oh querido, no es lo mismo. Short trabajó con ambos miembros trabajando para lidiar con una gran entrega prenavideña. Resultado = larga espera (incluso la pizza se quemó levemente debido a que el operador del horno tuvo que interrumpirse para firmar la hoja de entrega), área de comida fría ya que la puerta se dejaba abierta todo el tiempo para acomodar al conductor que giraba los artículos. Larga espera por la factura y apatía general en cuanto a la existencia de los clientes. Lo sentimos, muchachos, puede ser un problema, pero recuerden, esta no es una compra urgente y los clientes tenemos muchos otros para elegir.

I normally write good reviews about this place. We come here as a family with 2 young boys about once a month. We always come on the same day at same time. The kids always get to make their own pizza and that’s why they beg us to come here - otherwise we would go to somewhere better. Yesterday we got there and ‘management’ decided they were too busy for kids to make their own pizzas. Sad kids, frustrated parents, all round poor experience. The staff were apologetic but that doesn’t really cheer kids up. Will think twice before coming again.

Eaten at Pizza Express many times,but first visit to this one. On arrival at 8pm on a Monday evening the restaurant was quite full. Had usual starters and pizzas which we very good.Added bonus can use my meercat 2 for 1 card here.Bill including 2 bottles of Peroni came to £28,great value.

Roundhay's Pizza Express is typical of this chain; pizza with a friendly face. I've visited this PE a number of times now, and not had a bad visit. The staff are, on the whole, pretty friendly. I would happily return to this branch of Pizza Express.

Nipped in for an after work treat for the family on a Monday night, food as ever was awesome! Service was exceptional, staff very friendly and great with the kids, even got to make their own little pizza which chef cooked and delivered to the table! Highly recommend this place 👍

Food was nice - however service was terrible. The manager refused to let me and my friend use 2 separate voucher deals. One was for the set menu and one was for a £5 main. She said we can only use one deal per TABLE & that if we had sat on separate tables this deal would have been given to us (weird). They also said they cannot split the bill - again - weird. She told me to order a starter after I had had my main and take it home ???? Why would anyone want to do that?? I asked where this was communicated in the terms & conditions and after she scrolled up and down my phone she couldn’t find it. Hence we were eventually allowed to each use our separate vouchers. Rude, sarcastically smiling at us & argumentative. Young male waiter however was very pleasant .

We came to eat with my son’s children and him, and myself. We had good service all be it a tad slow though. Food we had was good too. I would recommend going here.

Visited 26.01 at around 9pm, table for two. We had a great waitress I’d like to praise but unfortunately didn’t catch her name... she’s getting married and had just been trying on wedding dresses if that helps ;) We had some fantastic service and we really enjoyed the food and wine too. It’s not the cheapest chain restaurant but you certainly know what you’re getting. The polenta fries were top notch! Really enjoyed our first visit to this particular branch even though we live pretty locally, so we certainly will be back. Thanks!

We didn’t actually end up being able to eat here, but I booked for a Sat close to x mas for a big family do. Unfortunately weather was bad, it was snowing and we were coming from all over the country so we were unable to make it. Cam and the Manager (didn’t catch her name) were so understanding and helpful, trying to get us a new booking elsewhere and in the end returning our deposit for the extenuating circumstances. This was really heartening, and was excellent customer service. I will def be returning to Pizza Express soon because of this.

Always accommodating, the food is spot on. Love to visit this little place. Whilst its a chain, this street lane eatery feels like a special place. Its lively and food is delicious..the staff are friendly and accommodate your order. The pizzas are delicious as the pastas as are the starters. Theres just enough variety on the deserts and the best bit...theres always offers you can use to reduce the bill. Why not!?

Aquellos de ustedes que leen mis comentarios sabe que no fácilmente desahogar mi bazo. Rara vez sentir tan indignados por un mal servicio que tengo que escribir y decirle a la gente, pero en este caso haré una excepción. He cenado en este restaurante muchas veces con amigos y familiares y siempre disfrutamos de la comida y la amabilidad del personal. Esta noche yo era el destinatario de servicio desde el camarero más abismal hosco, poco comunicativa y desinteresado que he conocido en cualquiera de los muchos restaurantes que he visitado. Esta persona está claramente en el trabajo equivocado y más adecuado para ser un archivista donde él no tiene que hablar con nadie.

Went for lunch may the 4th, starters risotto good squid chewy and poor value, pizza not hot not much topping not very good. Staff not very attentive .

Consistent food , Good Service . Orientated towards families. Love the leggera superfood salad and polenta chips.Has an outdoor seating area which is great in summer.

Tuvimos una comida el sábado por la noche el restaurante ni siquiera estaba lleno y que el servicio era deficiente. Esto parecía ser el caso por las personas del restaurante esperando que te sirvan una vez sentado, platos principales saliendo. También parece ser un problema con gente esperando para la factura la nuestra nos tomó 40 minutos hasta que alguien reconocido. No parecen ser una falta de personal presente a no estar atento a los clientes. No recomendaría esta sucursal .

At first glance this chain seem very reasonable - especially with an online discount voucher - but the bill adds up surprisingly quickly. So keep your eye on it! But the food is fresh and very tasty, well presented and with unexpected little additions - garlic butter was served with the hot dough balls - and was delicious. Generally its bog standard stuff - but served with style and if you want that type of meal, then this is the place to go.

You get what you expect from these guys. Its a chain but it's a good chain. Food fresh and tasty, service good. Good location, but I live here

Ahora intentamos Bradford, Castleford y Roundhay, ninguno de entonces son una buena relación calidad-precio. £12.95 por una pequeña sin gluten pizza gratis que consta de un super fina base, muchos puré de tomate, 5 pequeños trozos de pollo, pimientos dulces pepperdew 4, 6-7 delgado rojo anillos de cebolla y queso. Mi esposo 12 pulgadas de la pizza de Regina parecía desnudo! Muy poco o en general. Considerando que en al dominó te dan un mucho 'meatier' pizza para muchas menos y lo sirven rápido!

Good staff excellent food . Great value. Fabulous menu and good wine choices . Nice little place to eat out . Staff are interested and attentive. Well worth a visit . Great place , clean tidy and well decorated . The chefs are interested in the food they cook and it shows . Tasty food with fantastic service.

The pizza here is pretty tasty. And quite big. We shared two and some polenta chips between three and still had some left. The place has a nice relaxed feel to it and is ideal for an evening out with friends.

I go here with my girlfriend who lives in Roundhay and we really love it, nice food and good service..much better than Flying Pizza just down the road!

We came here for lunch and shared a salad, pizza and some polenta fries. It was just perfect. The perfect amount, the taste was gorgeous and price wasn't too bad but a bit more than we usually like to pay at lunch.The staff were just lovely and really friendly.

New Legerra Pizza.... a pizza with the middle cut out and replaced with salad - great if you're on a diet!Always a good atmosphere.
