The best restaurants serving Italian food in Harrogate Yorkshire and The Humber

I visited last night with 2 friends for a last minute dinner after visiting the Turkish Baths. I had the braised beef shin with added Burrata - it was absolutely AMAZING!! I genuinely cannot wait to go back and have it again. The service was efficient and lovely wine too. Can't recommend it enough

A great Latté coffee and croissant this morning contemplating the grey weather in this warm cosy spot, bustling with locals. Friendly atmosphere and great service 👍. Whenever passing this side of Harrogate going through I try to pop in if I can park nearby.

This establishment had a lovely homely feel. The food was excellent and the chef ensured the meal was exciting and tasty. The drinks were excellent, overall a lovely place for a night out.

Highly recommend the chicken and chorizo pizza. The staff were amazing and brilliant service. 10/10 from me

A wonderful Sunday evening spent here food matched the wonderful service. The place it's self is really nice and welcoming perfect for that first date or a 40th wedding anniversary meal ! Very affordable good menu with a wine list to match. So sorry this is not nearer home to us, but we shall look forward to returning on our next sortie to Harrogate very soon

I went to Stuzzi for dinner, and it was super convenient being just across the road from my hotel. The place has a quirky, fun, cozy vibe with friendly staff, making for a great atmosphere right from the start. The menu changes regularly, but we had some standout dishes. The carbonara bread was phenomenal, mostly thanks to the confit egg yolk that took it to the next level. We also tried the pork belly burrata and the ragu pasta – everything was delicious, with fresh ingredients and clear attention to detail in the cooking. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

5* all round with our experience! The staff were so so lovely and very funny! Our food was amazing! Pasta& pizza combo was unreal! We even treated ourselves to pudding and they were super delish! This was our first time and we will be back for sure!

I went to the Christmas dinner,it was superb,great host's.Really friendly and so much food.Excellent time was had by all.very welcoming.

Not being from the area and having several Italian restaurants to chose from across a very small area, you always wonder if you've made a good choice - Hot Lava was. We were a family of 7 who ate at 6pm on a very quiet Tuesday. We had a garlic pizza bread and ciabatta bread to start which was really nice. For mains 5 of us had pasta dishes, which were all very tasty and 2 who had pizzas which again were really good. The waitress was friendly and there wasn't long to wait between courses. The prices were very reasonable and we all left full and happy. Super value for money and we'd definitely return.

The set menu was advertised for 2 courses .consisting of starters and a main For £18 in between 7-8pm We ordered and the food was good Bill came and we wasn't given the set menu price...because we failed to tell the waitress ...upon questioning. The bill we was told we would have received smaller portions on the set menu ...not sure how you get away with that My partner had 4 scaĺops for starters ...she advised that it would have been 2 on the set menu... Im puzzled how do you advertise "starters & mains Yet don't tell people it's smaller portions

Been going to Pizza World for years, and almost every time the food is great. The staff, who have been there for years, are great and always accommodating.

Luckily for us we swerved the Premier Inn next door and booked here at Al Bivio Top service and food and a lovely venue with atmosphere and warmth. The staff were so welcoming, the service was exceptional and the food was amazing at a very reasonable price. Met at the door, asked if wanted to hang out coats, seen straight to our table, very attentive staff with a smiles and a genuine warmth. Would definitely recommend 100% and will return when next in the area
