The best restaurants serving Italian food in Harrogate Yorkshire and The Humber

A pleasant warm welcome as we arrived. The menu is very chic and our meal was absolutely delicious, attention to detail with the starter, main meals & deserts were all outstanding! Beautifully served by Martha & Meg, very attentative with an extremely busy restaurant, thank you. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, nice to see a well co-ordinated team! As we were leaving, we were given a little gift, a packet of wildflower seeds by Rose, from Pranzo's, such a lovely, thoughtful gesture! My mum is 84 and we've visited Italy, Venice on many occasions - Pranzo's Restaurant, especially their freshly made cuisine, would certainly not be out of place! Well Done, Excellent all round! 💖

The staff in Mamma Amelia were fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. The food and coffee is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this cafe.

This establishment had a lovely homely feel. The food was excellent and the chef ensured the meal was exciting and tasty. The drinks were excellent, overall a lovely place for a night out.

What a lovely place, the coffee is perfect, and the food delicious. Friendly staff, and ideal for people watching. I had the Machiato, then the scrambled eggs on sourdough and an Americano, loved it. I will definitely be back again.

I had a wonderful meal here, everything tasted delicious and cooked well! The early bird menu that we ordered from had a good selection of food at a decent price. 10/10! Would definitely come here again!

This is a great Italian restaurant, just near the cathedral. Great food and service. A nice friendly vibe and a good range of dishes. We turned up late, without a reservation, and they put themselves out to find us a table. The sardine fillet starter was fresh and nicely cooked. The penne and bolognese meatball main course was delicious and filling. Good house wine and a good wine list to accompany the meal.

A wonderful meal, clean plates all around. A warm welcome from staff who are full of character. They made us feel right at home. The food was authentic, tasty, prompt and excellent value. Highly recommended.

I would have rated this so higher if the food hadn't taken so long to arrive, it was lovely food and staff were nice just took over an hour for breakfast.

After a lovely afternoon in Ripon. We decided to go in the Hot Lava restaurant. And we were delighted we did. Lovely food very friendly staff member who served us. We had early bird menu. Would definitely go there again.

Good honest food and fantastic service, decent wine list too

Been going to Pizza World for years, and almost every time the food is great. The staff, who have been there for years, are great and always accommodating.

We had quite a mixed experience at Al Bivio, where we had to eat as the neighbouring Premier Inn had made a hash of their evening meal provision. We went on two occasions: an excellent pizza, with a generous home-made base, and a delicious pasta dish with chicken and white wine. However, from the Specials lists, a lasagne was quite tough, and my seafood risotto over-salty, though I would add that it was generously filled. A pet theme of mine: this restaurant is NOISY! Not one single absorbent surface anywhere, just a bare glass frontage and plain walls that reflect sound. Having a conversation in here feels like hard work.
