Pranzo Italian in Harrogate

A pleasant warm welcome as we arrived. The menu is very chic and our meal was absolutely delicious, attention to detail with the starter, main meals & deserts were all outstanding! Beautifully served by Martha & Meg, very attentative with an extremely busy restaurant, thank you. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, nice to see a well co-ordinated team! As we were leaving, we were given a little gift, a packet of wildflower seeds by Rose, from Pranzo's, such a lovely, thoughtful gesture! My mum is 84 and we've visited Italy, Venice on many occasions - Pranzo's Restaurant, especially their freshly made cuisine, would certainly not be out of place! Well Done, Excellent all round! 💖

It was really lovely just one small niggle for a quite expensive restaurant, ordered coffees all round and did not get a little something with it to finish off a nice meal, suggest introducing a dark chocolate mint.

Waited over an hour for our meal on Saturday 9/3/24 at 1 pm It was a half full restaurant, service was extremely slow and not particularly attentive. We had been recommended to come here by a friend, but the food was average and one of the meals arrived cold, which was then sent back and returned after being heated in the microwave. Asked for the bill as we decided to leave, complained about the cold dish and it was taken off the bill, however the service charge was left on. Quite disappointing as the reviews are generally very good for this restaurant, won’t be coming back.

Visited for a family birthday and had a super meal. The atmosphere was fun and buzzy and the food was really good. The stars of the menu are the restaurant's home made pasta options with interesting fillings making it stand out from other Italian restaurants - the menu is just a bit different to the norm which I think is one of the reasons why it is so popular. Also enjoyed a starter of aranchini and side order of rocket/parmesan salad. All delicious!

Exceptional pasta - probably the best we’ve ever tasted. Great service, ambience and location. Lovely wines. Parking right outside. Can’t fault it.

We're relatively local in Bedale and had family staying in Harrogate over from Liverpool so wanting to arrange dinner. I'd heard great feedback from a work colleague on their restaurant in Ilkley and Harrogate didn't disappoint, excellent from start to finish. Attentive, knowledgeable staff, fab cocktails, even my alcohol free, but also wine choices too and Jade looked after us throughout. Many thanks for making the evening so special but also for pulling out the stops to fit us in. By the way, I'd recommend the lobster ravioli 😁

Second time at Pranzo, service from the minute we got in till the end was 10 out of 10. Wouldn’t recommend it enough. Good selection of food and wine. Got a few tasters on wine to help out on our decision.

Pranzo is one of my top restaurants in Harrogate but I haven't been in a while. So when my family arrived from New Zealand I had to take them. The greeting was amazing, warm and friendly, they even remembered me and had a little chat. Rose and Ran looked after us, and they were great. We were offered wine tasting as we couldn't decide what to drink. Nice touch. Food amazing as always. Went for my usual spicy sausage with burrata. Couple pints of the Pranzo beer and washed down with a glass of red, afraid I can't remember the name as my brother ordered it. Service is still amazing Food is even better then I remember. Looking forward to more visits soon, I'm planing on trying the Ilkley site again. Great stuff

Exceptional, unusual and delicious. Food was way above any other Italian restaurant and much closer to a traditional Italian. Pasta portions were delicious and very generous.

Absolutely brilliant as always! We were greeted at the door by Jade, who was lovely and extremely helpful with her insightful recommendations and clear knowledge of the menu. Service by Rose was also exceptional, can’t wait to bring more friends!

My first time at Pranzo, taken there by a local. Fantastic experience all round. Food was superb, their homemade pastas really tasty, & accompanying wines (all Italian) also great. Service faultless too. Smart, contemporary exterior, plus ample, free, close by disc zone parking (up to 3 hours). Top choice.

Had a fantastic time, everything was perfect from the food to the service and the atmosphere great for a group of friends to share a few bottles of wine and enjoy some amazing food. Will definitely be coming back.
