Vivido in Harrogate

So glad we decided to check out Vivido on our recent visit to Harrogate. We were warmly greeted on entering the restaurant and promptly shown to our table. Had quite a laugh with our waitress when a member of our party decided he wanted his white wine glass changing to a red eine glass. Like the rest of our party, she quite rightly worked out he would never tell the difference. The food was amazing - lots of it, very tasty, and served piping hot. The portions are so large we couldn't fit desert in, which was a shame as I'd been looking forward to the tirramisu. And when the final bill came we were very pleasantly surprised to find that we weren't being ripped off. All in all a great place, great staff, great food. We will definitely be back next time we're in Harrogate.

Me & my partner were having a long weekend stay in Harrogate & wanted to find somewhere to eat, Vivido was one the highest rated restaurants we found so we thought we’d give it a go, I can confidently say the place is worth the very high ratings! We both had the carbonara, with the Quattro pizza & a side of fries & everything was a 10/10! The pasta was out of this world, the pizza was amazing & fresh, even the fries were crispy yet fluffy! We loved absolutely every bit & couldn’t recommend enough if you fancy an Italian & are in the Harrogate area. The staff were attentive & great with us. We would absolutely eat here again. We didn’t quite have enough room for dessert sadly, we were so stuffed from our mains. One of the best Italians I’ve ever had!

Food was below average, with premium prices.

Really enjoyable, excellent food and atmosphere.

Vividos was a great dining exerience, the service was great although they did take a while to seat us despite having booked in advance. I feel the food is priced above it's quality and flavour however.

Spent a leisurely late Sunday afternoon here. Prompt, friendly table service and great food. I went for a pizza whilst my wife had a pasta dish. No complaints at all. If you order garlic bread as a starter be ready for a large portion - not the stingy slice or two some establishments serve up!

You have great food and great staff but Bella is the best Sir Rod Wickham

I read the reviews and thought well its only someone else's opinion. I have to say the reviews were spot on!! The food was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough. Can't wait to go again!!

Excellent restaurant. Lovely ambience. Very friendly and efficient members of staff. Food was outstanding and about 80% of dishes were gluten free. We went on friends recommendation and will go again next time we are in Harrogate

The title says it all. I truly cannot say enough good things about our visit to Vivido's for a birthday dinner. My cousin and I both agreed that we'd come back to Harrogate just to revisit Vivido's again because the menu was so extensive and so much of it was so good it practically begs for a return visit. The two young ladies serving our table were a delight and I curse myself that we didn't get their names. They were very attentive and always had a lovely smile. The lamb shank in particular from the specials was unbelievable! Though in fairness, I don't think any of our 9-person party had a single thing they didn't love in terms of food which is a 10/10 in anyone's book. Do yourself a favour: find the flimsiest excuse to go to Vivido's for a meal and get yourself in there!

Beautiful restaurant in Harrogate! How have we missed this for so long. Wonderful staff, delicious food and drink, gorgeous atmosphere. We will definitely be back to support this independent 💞

Visited mid week with friends lovely atmosphere staff were excellent and the food would highly recommend it you are looking for an Italian restaurant.

My 30th birthday meal with my husband. We were greeted by members of staff and quickly shown to our table where they had two balloons for my birthday on the table which was a lovely touch. We ordered a bottle of red which was amazing and not overly priced. We had meatballs to start which we shared, they were so tasty and just the right amount for a starter for two. We then ordered a picante pizza and picante calzone, both were absolutely incredible. We had tiramisù and chocolate fudge cake for dessert which were beautiful. We have just come back from Rome and I’ve got to say all the food was just as good, if not better! We will definitely return when we are next in Harrogate. Staff were really nice too!

I'm not really sure what I can write to pay this restaurant justice. Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Done research for my 65th birthday weekend at Harrogate as I'm a right fussy bugger, chose this restaurant and do bloody glad I did. I chose starter & starter for main course & both excellent, if yr coming to Harrogate and don't book here, all the more fool for you as yr missing out.

My husband & I visited Vivido on Saturday night and both felt it was an amazing experience. The staff were really helpful and friendly. They really could teach other restaurants a thing or two about customer service. Food was also fabulous. Really fresh and so tasty. I’d imagine Vivido would be a diet killer if we lived nearer! Couldn’t recommend here more.

Good, attentive staff - on the ball without being "in your face". Lovely atmosphere and cosy on a cold evening. Excellent range of food on the menu, all beautfully served - and an abundance of well-selected wines to match.

Had an early dinner and wow yet again just couldn’t be faulted. Didn’t have a starter but the Cod Loin and Pork Medallions we both had were absolutely superb. Freshly cooked ,tasty and beautifully presented. We don’t usually do desserts but glad we did. Cheese cake and Crème Brûlée were first class Great professional service by Robert as well and to cap it off extremely good value 👍

We had mains and puddings. My wife had duck in orange sauce which was lovely, I had cod loin which came in a lovely creamy sauce and was exceptional. Accompanied with a Grillo wine recommended on the wine list. We both had tiramisu which was heavenly. Complimentary Limoncello to finish off. Really good food, excellent service and nice setting.

Had a wonderful dinner here whilst staying in town. Lots of staff all very well organised and impeccably dressed. Seated fast and drinks order taken, the negroni was fantastic. Great selection on the menu especially the seafood options. Food was excellent along with the service. The restaurant is really well decorated and was super clean. Best Italian dinner I have had in the UK for a long time, can highly recommend would visit again when in town

We tried this place on a whim as we were in the area overnight. So glad we did, staff were fab, attentive and efficient. Food was lush even our picky 8 yr old ate his up...will definitely come back when we visit Harrogate again.

Our first time visiting Harrogate, and there is lots of places to eat, we eventually decided on Vivido and we were not disappointed the service and food was exceptional, we highly recommend, lovely relaxed atmosphere and highly attentive waiters. We look forward to returning.

Third time visiting this restaurant and yet again it was delicious. The family had only just taken over when we first visited and we were hooked. Excellent friendly service. The Gamberoni picante starter is so moreish, we ask for more of the delicious bread to mop up the sauce every time. All the food is delicious and we will keep on going back every time we are in Harrogate and telling family and friends to visit. Keep up the good work!

Gorgeous decor. Lovely staff and tasty food. They accommodated my gluten free diet well. Was impressed they offered small or large portions of all mains too.

We were trying to decide where to eat when this restaurant caught our eye. It's attractive from the outside and we were very much welcomed. We ate on a Sunday early evening and the service was faultless and the food was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant was immaculately clean with a really welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Everyone seemed to be happy. We would definitely visit here again.

Visited with a group of work friends as staying in Harrogate for a conference. Place is beautiful inside. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Our food was delicious! Pizzas were huge and the pasta abd dessert portions were also generous. My penne pollo was so tasty! Would definitely go back when visiting again.

Just had the most incredible meal at Vivido Bar & Restaurant. Not the first time that we’ve been, but didn’t want to jump the gun with a review. So on our third occasion, I can confirm the experience is superb. Started with a cheesy garlic bread, which we did ask to have a little less garlic as it can come quite strong - they kindly did. We then moved on to mains, with a lasagne and a salmon pappardelle - both equally superb and perfect portion wise. It has a really great vibe inside, lovely and modern look to it and the staff are wonderful - always brilliant and attentive. Can’t recommend this place enough. Superb for couples and families too. (Sorry no pictures but we ate it far too fast! 🤣)

Really good food here! Service was on point, and pretty much everything on the menu can be made gluten free. Highly recommend if dinning out in Harrogate.

Superb......the GF options were plentiful

We stumbled upon this restaurant whilst staying not far away. We didn't have a reservation but the staff were happy to find us a table although it was fairly busy. The food was absolutely delicious, some of the best I have had. What was really nice was that I was able to have a 'starter' portion size of pasta for my main course, because I can never manage a huge pasta dish. Would definitely return if in Harrogate.

Great place to have dinner with a big group. The service was fast and kind, especially our waitress Bella did a great job. Mojito was great, lamb chops with wine sauce was delicious. Definitely recommend the restaurant.

Incredible array of gluten free options. The owner has family with coeliac disease so they are extremely knowledgable about cross contamination and kept me completely safe (and very full)! Delicious food and a fantastic wine list, too.

Absolutely amazing ! I’m coeliac and the majority of the menu could be made gluten free . They even had gluten garlic bread and cheesecake which I’ve never had before! 100% recommend.

Had a great meal while passing through Harrogate. Looking at other reviews of surrounding restaurants, this looked the best and it didn’t disappoint. Great swift service and even a generous discount after discovering the manager and ourselves had a lot in common!

Just had another fabulous meal here at Vividos. Lovely food and wonderful service from the young lady who attended our table this evening. Review update 2-8-24. Another visit to Vivido, and another fabulous evening. Lovely service from all concerned with a special mention to Stevia ( please excuse if i've got the spelling wrong ). She was very polite and attentive. Chefs do not always get a mention, but they must here as the food as always was wonderful. Will be back again soon.

Absolutely would highly recommend this place! Very friendly, tentative waitresses/waiters, delicious food with vey generous portions! The best bit about this was the gluten free food is so easily marked on the menu and there was soo much of it! It also is charged at no extra cost !!

The food was not special and on top of that, it took very long to be able to fetch a waitress. They were all very busy. As we were 20min late, ofc this was our own fault, the reservation was cancelled without calling or messaging, very strict indeed. Food wise: they use Parmesan cheese powder instead of real cheese, the pizza didn’t taste much but with a soft bottom. The spaghetti was nothing special. The bartender was busy as well and thus he threw bottles with big sound which scared our little boy every time when there was a Bang. I find this restaurant overrated, the staff were courteous enough but no warmth in it.

Great experience all round. There were 4 of us and had not booked, but we're shown to a lovely table straight away. Definitely somewhere to visit next time we are in Harrogate.

Another great meal at this welcoming place, always busy but always well organised, the young staff are friendly and efficient, the kitchen serves freshly prepared food in real time

Felt a bit rushed- our table was booked for a second sitting and the waitress kept reminding us we only had a limited seating time. Food was ok, nothing special but good. To be fair the deserts did look very generous

We had a evening meal here, everything about this restaurant is top class, the service, the location, the environment, the staff and last but by far not least the meal, my wife and I both agreed that it was the best meal we have had for a long time and in such lovely surroundings with great staff. We could not fault anything, it will now be our restaurant of choice when we stay in Harrogate. We definitely recommend Vivido to anyone who is looking to have a meal in Harrogate

After a day at the yorkshire show can only say service was good but food very disappointing veal very dry and pizza cold when we told the service staff everybody avoided us like the plaige a shame as really good restaurants in the area

My daughter chose this restaurant due to their Gluten-Free Menu options. It was for my dad's birthday and mum and dad's 50th wedding anniversary. I told them it on booking, why 7 of us and an assistant dog were going, not expecting anything just so they knew why we were a group. Some restaurants don't like large groups, especially if Hen or stag do's. When we arrived, they had put balloons on the table. All the staff were so lovely. Nearly everything on the menu was gluten-free, and it was spacious, light, and a calming colour. The food was delicious. I can not recommend this place enough and we will be back, even with a 1 and 1/2 hour drive each way.

Had a meal here for the first time in 5 years. The new manager is amazing, staff were amazing, food amazing. I have ptsd and bad anxiety and struggle with noise. A table of 10 came in and were having a lovely time. The manager came and introduced himself and realised I was struggling and moved us to a quieter area without fuss. This is my new favourite place to eat. Thank you x

Excellent food and service. Best Italian food in Harrogate. My group of four tried two different pasta and two different pizza dishes and everyone found their meal to be excellent. Dessert was relatively standard fare, but still quite good. The restaurant itself is pleasant enough. Quite a large venue overall, so cozy is not a word that can be used to describe it. Parking is easy at the Jubilee car park just across the road. The car park does close at 10pm so be aware.

Great service, delicious food and super choice of gluten free and vegan dishes. Milo was an excellent waiter as were all the other staff.

Had a meal for our 10th Wedding anniversary on Friday the 17th of May at this beautiful restaurant. Modern with a great atmosphere and well trained, smartly dressed staff. The food was exquisite, can't wait to come back here on our next visit.

This place gets a 6 out of 5 from me! The staff were super friendly. I have a gluten intolerance and a serious dairy allergy, shout out to Harrison who served us & was super helpful, there were so many options on the menu, including on the dessert menu! Not only were my dietaries accommodated, without judgement, my meal was AMAZING! I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Hands down the best meal I’d had since arriving in the UK!

Had dinner on four succesive evenings during our recent little break in Harrogate. I enjoyed four different dishes, all were delicious: Pesce alla Griglia, Agnello al Rosemarino, Filletto di Maiale and Risotto Pollo Funghi. The staff are always most welcoming and the service excellent.

Called.for a pizza today and can't fault it. Very welcoming, pleasant staff and reasonably priced. We will be back soon.

Called for lunch, first visit and enjoyed it. The tomato bruschetta starters were lovely, possibly the best we have had! The pizza tasted nice but the base was a bit soggy and oily, the meatballs were in a rich sauce but they could be improved by adding more seasoning and herbs, oregano would be great. Service was good and prices reasonable.

Lovely relaxed and airy surroundings. The bonus is they really cater for gluten free ( Coeliac) diets, and understand the danger of cross contamination. Best menu choices we have seen anywhere. The staff are lovely!
