The staff in Mamma Amelia were fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. The food and coffee is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this cafe.

We are staying locally and the hotel does not to breakfast so I did a recce for local cafes and found this one. Had a cuppa and a croissant, nice cafe and friendly, small but have a couple of tables outside. Lunch menu very reasonable as well.

Simply a gem of a neighbourhood meeting spot. Antonio's homemade desserts are to die for. His tiramisu should be banned for encouraging non-stop eating. In a world where we are blitzed by chain, chain, chain this is an oasis of individual baking genius. Everything is freshly made daily and it is showing...on my waistline! Meatballs? Oh wow! Spinach pie? Unreal! Apple strudel? Unbelievable! All served brilliantly by Antonio and his amazing staff. Luckily, when I've eaten everything on his menu, he has a shop down the road so I can stock up on supplies. Go....but leave some for me!!

We popped in for lunch after a walk and sat outside. The caprese salad was lovely and fresh, and all of the staff were friendly and efficient. Would definitely visit again!

What a delightful find! My wife and I popped in here while we charged our car at the Civic Centre and we're so glad we did. There's a great buzz about the place with locals popping in and chatting - we immediately felt at home, especially with such a genial, Italian owner. The panini (roasted veg, cheese & pesto) was to die for, a pot of Rooibos for just £2 and a cappuccino made a great snack. We'll definitely be coming back here before we leave! Bravissimo!

Fantastic authentic Italian addition to Kings Road. Warm welcome from the host/chef. Genuine care and outstanding customer service …and excellent coffee and delicious food!!! Our first visit after new management, we’ll definitely be regulars from now on!

16 Cheltenham CrescentSo glad we decided to check out Vivido on our recent visit to Harrogate. We were warmly greeted on entering the restaurant and promptly shown to our table. Had quite a laugh with our waitress when a member of our party decided he wanted his white wine glass changing to a red eine glass. Like the rest of our party, she quite rightly worked out he would never tell the difference. The food was amazing - lots of it, very tasty, and served piping hot. The portions are so large we couldn't fit desert in, which was a shame as I'd been looking forward to the tirramisu. And when the final bill came we were very pleasantly surprised to find that we weren't being ripped off. All in all a great place, great staff, great food. We will definitely be back next time we're in Harrogate.

33 KirkgateThis is an excellent restaurant with great service and fantastic food. We had the tagliatelle with truffle and steak one night, and the next night we had lamb chops. I highly recommend this restaurant.

27 KirkgateOnce again a large group of us enjoyed New Year's Eve in Mario's Restaurant. As usual, we could not have wished for a more enjoyable evening. The food was excellent and the service was great even though the restaurant was so busy. I would recommend you give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
