The best restaurants serving Italian food in North Somerset South West

We enjoyed one of the best meals I have ever had! The tapas were outstanding. Fantastic range of foods. We chose about a dozen different ones which were delicious and large enough for 4 of us to share. An excellent range of wines, beers, ciders and soft drinks, as well as ice creams and macarons to finish made this meal, along with the helpful and attentive service. You need to book as there are only a few tables. The deli is equally good with home cooked pastries, great coffee and well sourced drinks,meats, cheeses etc Thanks!

Had a lovely meal with a little live opera. Food and service is great. Plenty of seafood if you wanted it.

These pizzas are incredible! At first glance, you might think £16 for a pizza is steep, until you see the size of it!! Leftovers for days!! The pizzas are so delicious, it's our go-to for pizza in Portishead. They're not thick or stodgy, and they don't leave a dry taste in your mouth in the middle of the night like a Dominos/Pizza Hut/Pizza Go Go would. Fresh ingredients and more authentic Italian pizzas. The staff are very friendly too! Would highly recommend the 'Vincenzo' if you're a fan of spice!

Popped in to ask about early deal. Was told you Cant have one course only. Unless you paid for two courses. Cant recommend. Avoid this place.

An elegantly decorated restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. The service was at just the right pace and the food delicious and at reasonable prices.

Great service, delicious food and drinks. Reccomend cod starter, pesto pasta and crumble. Tangerine and pickled pear juice. Fast friendly service. Clean and pleasant restaurant. Good for groups and couples. ☆☆☆☆☆

Really disappointing meal, when we arrived we were asked if we had booked we had but it wasn't there don't think it mattered though. We were sat by the window which was a little cold and we felt a bit forgotten about. I think we waited about 20 minutes to ask what drink we wanted they then came fairly quickly. Menu looked promising with lots of choice. Had garlic bread with cheese to start, didn't really taste of garlic and the base tasted cheap and premade. This came about 40 minutes into the meal This wasn't a good omen for the pizza we had a four cheese and a picante, the cheese tasted good on the four cheese but the tomato sauce was lacking in flavour and it had the same nasty base. The picante and a spicy chilli next to it on the menu but had some tiny flecks of chilli in it and a pathetic amount of pepperoni. Our friends had pasta and didn't enjoy that either. It took about an hour to get to the point when the mains came out and the restaurant was hardly full. When the owner took the plates we asked for the bill but 20 minutes later that hadn't come so we walked up ourselves and paid. Didn't tip which is the first time in ages. Would not return, felt abandoned in the conservatory area poor service and below average food.

Great food and the best table service I’ve experienced in a long time. The pork belly starter was delicious. I shall definitely come back.

We didn't book a table but it was very quiet as it was a weekday lunchtime so they seated us immediately. The chap who took our orders was brilliant, really friendly, helpful with our food allergy enquiries and also funny. The food was lovely, our group of 5 ordered 3 pasta dishes, 1 pizza and 1 fish main. It arrived fairly quickly. The bill included a 10% service charge which was fine and well deserved. The low rating for atmosphere was simply because there were only 3 tables in use but the views of the harbour made uo for that.

What a find I would give it more stars if I could. Excellent food not one thing we could fault and there were 4 of us. We all chose different starters, mains and shared a cheeseboard. Don’t drive by this little gem I highly recommend.

We usually enjoy our visits to this garden centre and we did appreciate the many plants and flowers on display as we strolled around. But then we decided to have some refreshments. There is inside and outside seating and we chose inside. My companion wanted a flat white coffee and I ordered tea. After about 20 minutes I enquired as to whether they had forgotten us. They quickly brought our order and my friend's coffee was just right. However my tea must have been left standing, waiting for the coffee to be made as it was very very strong and almost tepid! The Cafe assistants should be trained how to serve different drinks simultaneously without leaving one of them to be standing too long, especially tea! I cannot abide strong tea and neither can my stomach! Very disappointing!

Staff amazing. I visited tonight at 8.00 PM and our server was very kind and courteous. When food was delayed, Tash offered to discount our items then comped our meal.
