Il Paradiso in North Somerset

Good choice of Italian food. Very tasty and prepared well. We all had three courses and each was cooked, and very much as described. Staff were very helpful, courteous and attentive. We will certainly go again, maybe in the evening for the dinners.

We have been here a few times, and have been disappointed more than once with the reception we got. We were the first to arrive (me, partner and our 6yr old and 3 month old son's), they opened the door with no eye contact then proceeded to ask if we'd booked as if this would be an issue. At this point we are the first ones in the restaurant and the entire time we are there, plenty of available tables even when other people start arriving! So we started on an unwelcome note! The food is typical Italian fare and is generally nice, though is pretty expensive and if you order lasagne, there is no salad garnish or garlic bread, that all has to be ordered separately. It makes us not want to return, friendliness is usually what you expect at any place welcoming you as a paying customer, but especially as a family with young kids at an Italian! Really hope that they can improve this as it would make us want to go back, but our experience last night puts us off going, despite the lack of options of eateries in Nailsea.

M wife and I had fillet steaks in pepper corn sauce, the steaks were medium rare and superbly cooked. Unfortunately the small bowl of veg was very measly, we could have done with twice as much. The ceilings are low, the restaurant is very noisy when it's full, but worth it for the steaks :)

Fantastic food, service, staff etc. Great atmosphere, we shall definitely be going back again. My mum has dementia and can't always remember what she ordered, but tonight she loved every bit of it

we had a visitors so was looking for a table who would accommodate my daughter as a vegan. They were happy to do this, which was lovely. I booked based on all the other really good reviews, but to be honest I was disappointed with the overall quality, based on how much we paid. I really wish I had said something to the staff, but as I was taking my parents out and my adult children were visiting, I didn't want to make a fuss or cause embarrassment. My seafood risotto has not 1 mussel in it - even though it says fresh mussels in the description. Calamari, mushrooms and garlic bread starters were OK, but not great. Parents were really disappointed there was no lasagne, which you would have thought would be on the menu for an early Saturday evening. Service was lovely - lovely all round, which is why I felt awkward mentioning lack of seafood in the seafood risotto. to add £17 service charge felt like a sting in the tail. Maybe we just happened to go on an off night, but its very unlikely I will return. An expensive but disappointing night, sorry

Visited several times with my family. The lunch menu is very good value and the portions are generous. The staff are always friendly. My brother has dietary needs and the waiter went out of his way to make sure the dish that he ordered was safe for him. The menu has a lot of choice and the food is delicious, we have never had a bad meal here. I recommend the monkfish and the pizzas.

Bruchetta and garlic mushrooms for starter spot on, Blue cheese medium steak for me, Lasagna for she, very nice, nice wine and a limoncello, will be back

I really like this place, im not sure if it's family run but it has that feel about it, Very nicely priced quick service lovely food and drink, Seeing as there is hardly any competition I have 2 say 9/10, will be going v soon, no pics sorry

Went in with my Husband and we had an amazing time. Staff were very on hand with anything we needed and very friendly. I had scallops for starter which were perfectly cooked and presented...simply delicious. I had a pizza for main which by far beats any pizza i've ever had in my whole life. All in all it was perfect and we will be back.

I have been at this restaurant a few times with my 2 children the food was excellent my children felt very comfortable and the service was very good.The food came quickly even though it was very busy the service was very fast and we didnt have to wait too long.I will definitely go again and will recommend it to my friends and family.
