Scoozi in North Somerset

The staff were great. Food great too, but I felt for the price the amount of vegetables underneath my sea bass was minimal. A few halved potatoes and a mixture of a few green beans, slices of pepper and aubergene was really poor. I must say each of the other guests had different meals all with much more salad and vegetables.

Exceptional service from Linda and the staff. Even though the restaurant was full, we did not have to wait very long to be served. Staff very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. It was my 50th wedding anniversary and they provided a free glass of prosecco for me and my family. Would strongly recommend. Thanks for making my celebration so special.

Hadn't been to Scoozi for a while and me and my wife decided to treat ourselves. Honestly wish we'd been back sooner! The service was impeccable, and the lady running front of house was just amazing from start to finish. Food was delivered efficiently and was to a very excellent standard. We both thought it was excellent value for money and we certainly weren't disappointed with the quality. We are very lucky to have a place like this in Clevedon where you can really go out and enjoy a nice civilised evening with great food and great company. Thank you to everyone at Scoozi who made it such a great night for us!

I have eaten here many times over the years it has been open. There was a time when I felt the service and the food just wasn’t quite as good, however, last evening from the moment we arrived the staff were all attentive and the service was spot on. It was a busy Friday evening and all tables were occupied. The food was absolutely delicious. The prawn and chilli linguine was the best I had ever eaten there and my friend enjoyed her risotto. We will be returning.

Having received many favourable comments about Scoozi's Sunday lunches we decided to give it a try. We were all delighted with the experience. A friendly welcome with busy and efficient staff at front of house. My mouth was watering as the early diners were served their meals. Beautifully presented and generous portions. I had the roast pork whilst my wife chose the beef. All of the usual trimmings were there in abundance, and I particularly enjoyed the fresh green vegetable selection. We will be returning.

Had a very good set lunch - thought I'd be adventurous and have the liver - well I'm not sure I'm a fan of that but I really didn't want to just have a pizza in this pretty Italian restaurant. Their swordfish was nice though - typical, always fancy what I didn't order...

After being let down by a local pub for a Sunday roast the fantastic Linda moved heaven and earth to fit us in, in her words "Ill make sure you dont go unfed today" brilliantly customer service. My first visit to Scoozi,to celebrate my daughter’s exam success- we did the lunchtime set menu, which was really good value. I had the Goats cheese mushrooms for starters followed by the Swordfish. Both courses were very tasty. The main menu looked very comprehensive too, with lots of fish and vegetarian options so we will definitely be back!

Stopped off in Clevedon en route from Devon to Pembroke last night. We had a fantastic meal in Scoozi. The steak was particularly delicious, as was the Amalfi risotto. Top marks, great service and very friendly staff. Thank you.

For the price you’re paying the food was incredibly sub-par. I’d go as far as saying it was the worst pasta dish I’ve ever had in a restaurant- the tagliatelle bolognese (sp). It was the pigling bland of bland dishes. It is useful that they have a kitchen where you can see what’s going on from your table, as the chefs did look clueless without much idea what they were doing. Only redeeming feature was the manager was friendly and tried (but failed) to create a nice atmosphere. Would not recommend.

Went for dinner with my best friend. The atmosphere was great and all staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Food was fabulous and Tom our waiter and manager was knowledgable and helpful for our food choices. Food and service were excellent. Would thoroughly recommend going for dinner here, you will not be disappointed.

Great two course set lunch. Great value and great service

Disgusting carbonara last night, it was brown and oily and pancetta certainly wasn’t crispy as described on the menu, it was large lumps of raw fat. I complained and after a second complaint was told the kitchen say sorry. It was expensive for a fatty plate of spaghetti and the restaurant needs to deal with its complaints in a better way. I was only visiting and don’t live locally but I couldn’t recommend it.

My daughter and I had lunch on 3/8/24. The special lunch menu was extensive and excellent value for money. Our food was delicious and it was one of the best meals we’ve had there.

My partner and I had a lunch on Friday from the set menu. Everything was perfectly cooked; staff were lovely and welcoming. Really enjoyed going there and will definitely go again when in the area

We’re just had a delicious two course dinner. Perfectly cooked and rested steak, tender fish. All for a very reasonable price, with great service. If you’re visiting Clevedon, it’s a great place to eat.

Scoozi offered a delightful pizza experience. The crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and generously portioned. Each bite was a delicious combination of textures and tastes, making it a thoroughly enjoyable meal. Highly recommended for pizza lovers!

For lunch we aimed for the Italian Restaurant I had read about on Hill Road. Here thankfully it was cooler and the little glass of cool Vino Frizzante was very welcome. We steered towards the set menu of two courses, and couldn't be happier with our choices. The only things we would have differently next time, would be that I would order extra vegetables and Mr M would ask for less tomato and cheese topping on his pizza. The base was thin and with a wonderful flavour but somewhat too much topping for his taste. His chocolate brownie was divine as was my ice creams. The music was muted but really lovely, just right to chat over but feel that you were in Italy. The service was excellent.

Walked past and took the plunge for an impromptu Sunday roast. It was well worth it - meals arrived fast via helpful, polite and cheerful staff. Meat was fantastic and portions were huge. Super value for money. We’ll be back.

Nice food, quick service and busy with locals

Great experience and really good quality food. The Vongole, seasonal veg, gamberi linguine and veal milanese were all delicious and big portions. Owner even provided extra cheese saying 'always happy to recheese' - my kind of place!! Deserts were okay but the service was impeccable. Had a nice family feel with the owners getting stuck in. It's clearly embedded as part of the community. Highly recommend.

In the area on holiday, Overpriced, Carbonara had a mushroom taste to the sauce, vegetarian risotto was lukewarm. Staff were friendly and service was fast although makes you wonder how fresh the food is, pasta wasn't al dente. Needs to up its food game to make it worth the price. We won't rush to return

Scooze is an Italian restaurant in a modern building. It's light and full of people. The food that I ordered, a rissotto, was delicious and so was the Tiramisu for pud. I loved it here and would go back again like a shot!

Fantastic meal. Friendly helpful staff (both waiting on table and in the kitchen). I have a mussel allergy and I really appreciated the care they took to make sure I could still have a fish dish but be safe. Every dish we had was delicious. The breads are huge as are the tiger prawns. When we visit Clevedon again we will definitely be back here.

Grandparents review; we were warmly welcomed on arrival & the two of us very much enjoyed the 2 course set lunch menu, very tasty salmon tagliatelle and chocolate brownie pudding, plus glass of fizz for the non-driver! Came here with wife, toddler, my sister and her partner. Staff were lovely and very accommodating of us with our little one. Even though it was peak lunch time, we didn't feel hidden to a side or anything, with staff making a point of interacting with our little one. The Pizza I had was absolutely brilliant, and all the other dishes on the table were highly praised! Lovely atmosphere, and wiukd definitely come back when in the area!

We visited yesterday, Easter Sunday with friends, and the Sunday lunch was the best I have ever had. The lamb was amazing, so tender and tasty, just fell apart, and everything else just excellent. Very friendly staff we will definitely return. Well done keep up the good work.

What a disappointment this proved to be. Having booked a table of six to celebrate my birthday and looking forward to an enjoyable dining experience, Scoozi let itself down badly. No greeting on arrival, what's the name of the booking? Shown to a table next to the kitchen, however, the waitress was polite and helpful! The meals served were of POOR quality, and I had to send my spaghetti carbonara back because it had a strange, unidentified taste. There appeared to be a general lack of hygiene from the kitchen staff.

A well worthy trip to Clevedon to visit this little gem of a place. I have been here on a few ocassions. We were made to feel very welcome from the time we arrived. The staff were polite, they were not looking over you waiting for you to finish or to hurry you out the door. The food is amazing. I am always spoilt for choice when I visit. I will be visiting again in the very near future.

Scoozi was a great spot for a family meal and were able to accommodate a large group and running separate tabs easily. Staff were very friendly, service was good, and the food was delicious, and vegetarians and gluten free diners were well catered for. Unfortunately, Scoozi did not seem to cater well for vegans, and so it would be great to see more plant based options added to the menu in the future.

Postively, we were welcomed with warmth. The food here was ok although there was confusion with the order. Our friend simply ordered roast potatoes with cauli cheese and her food came out on the collective platter with my own and my partner. My nut roast looked like two small chocolate browniess and were burnt. But edible. However, when I booked I asked for a table in a corner to reduce the noise around me due to my deafness (as a deaf person with hearing aids, I am challenged by background noise). Initally all was good as we had the perfect table. But in a short time tables around us were rearranged (we were politely told this woud happen). A group of eight people sat directly next to us and am pleassed were having a good time. But due to their noise level I was not able to hear my fellow diners. I politely raised this and was told that there really was nothing they could do as they were fully booked. I challenged them saying, there was no point in asking for accessibility needs if these needs coud not be met and informed beforehand. There was simply total lack of access needs or as a business, the Equalty Act, We didnt stay for dessert as I simply couldnt hear. Apologies were sincerely stated and a voucher to come back was issued. Thank you but we won't be coming back unless you reseach simple ways to reduce noise for deaf people.

Scoozi’s is a fantastic restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere and superb staff who are always working hard and trying their hardest to give you the best dining experience possible. Their food is always stunningly presented and fairly priced for what you get and they don’t shy on portion sizes either. They offer a unique dining experience not found often anymore and they certainly deliver quality food and service to your table every time without fail.

Great menu selection and food was excellent, portion sizes were also good. Service was really good. Lovely atmosphere and deco. Good mix of customers from romantic couples to family groups.

Wonderful food and fabulous service. The Panzanella Salad was absolutely delicious and my husband said the Carbonara was really lovely and creamy. The decadent sticky toffee pudding finished us off! 😊 Owen looked after us very well.

Absolutely cannot fault this establishment. The food is delightful, the pastas and puddings and peace dishes all being the best in my personal view - very authentic Italian. But it’s the staff that make it the joyous place it is - it’s relaxing, but also feels special. Can’t recommend enough.

This is the 3rd time going together and every time it has been wonderful. The staff has always been great. The food has been nothing but good. We have booked it for Valentine’s Day we loved it so much. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Originally booked a table for two, for Sunday lunch. Wanted to amend to four. Unable to but would let us know if cancellation. Cancellation.. 2 became 4. We had the most delicious Sunday lunch 1 x nut roast 2 x beef 1x well done beef. Asked for extra gravy. We all agreed it was the best roast dinner that we have eaten out, And we’ve tried a few. Service was great too, even though it was busy.

Even on a chilly Wednesday lunchtime in mid-January the team were warm & welcoming, the restaurant had a lovely buzz and the food, as always, was utterly delicious. I don’t know how they manage it, but it no matter the time of day or day of week, the energy, enthusiasm and exceptional standards remain the same. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

Visited for lunch on a wet Thursday in December. Enjoyed very nice food from a varied menu. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very busy and quite noisy thanks to a group of excitable women on the next table. On the whole, an enjoyable experience.

Had lunch here recently and the food, service and decor were fantastic I had the soup and calamari and both were excellent, especially the calamari as it was soft and flavoursome! Not many places can manage this and typically I get served rubber bands! 👍

We visited for the first time in Clevedon having regularly had Sunday lunch at Tiffin at Battens Farm.Our meal was superb, service was very quick but unhurried as we enjoyed the meal and dessert.Ruby our waitress was excellent and the cleanliness all round was also first class.Thoroughly recommend Scoozi in Clevedon !

Went for the pop up Sunday lunch. Booked very last minute and very accommodating regarding having a high chair, two adults and a 9 mth old. Food was fabulous we had beef and pork, lots of lovely veg and crispy roast potatoes, very cheesy cauliflower cheese . All the staff were very accommodating with the baby, manager brought us a croissant for him to nibble on whilst we were waiting for dad to get back from trying to park. They were all very attentive and spoke to him a lot. Checked we were ok and if needed anything. He shared our food and enjoyed his lunch as did we.

Sunday lunch today was the best anyone could wish for…..Master Chef Addy can’t be bettered…Restaurant Head lead (Jack) was so Welcoming and helpful. The waiting staff were outstanding. The restaurant was full. So a perfect lunch is a great setting. 100% satisfied.

I came here to celebrate my partners birthday, we were made to feel very welcome with excellent service by friendly staff! The management were also all very approachable and helpful. Such a nice place! A very tasty Italian pizzeria. I had penne arrabbiata and I could characterize it as a delicate plate. You will need to reserve a table though as it is a very busy place.

Really poor portion size - one sliced tomato and three sliced mozzarella pearl balls for £8.50 and after complaining, waiter wouldn’t remove from bill. Disappointed as used to be a fab place.

Had Sunday lunch here wow the beef was fantastic the vegetables were lovely and you get your own gravy boat .the staff were so friendly and polite and helpful. I would give the a 9 1/2 as the Yorkshire was slightly over cooked

Visited last year and had a great meal, decided to go back again today! We had the Fixed Price Menu, two course £16.95 with a small glass of Fizz. Excellent value, lovely food, friendly staff. Will go back again, but not leave it so long!
