Our experience here was not quite what we expected. For a high end restaurant I expected the service to be a bit more prompt. The waiters were not forthcoming and seemed a little snooty / inattentive. We had to prompt them whenever we needed anything. Husbands food was not good, he left his main as it was too chewy. Not sure I would visit here again.

Visited 8/9/2024. Was our tenth wedding anniversary. The service, food and the restaurant did not dissapoint! Fantastic service, food and drinks were amazing! Thank you guys you made our anniversary so special and we will be back the next time we're in Weston-super-Mare!

I was with friends for dinner, I was lucky enough to witness a beautiful wedding, the restaurant was full, but this did not affect the service, the food was delicious, I even took it with me because I couldn’t eat everything at once. It really wouldn't hurt to refresh or somehow change the interior, it looks a little tired. but overall we liked it and will definitely come back again.

Ordered on Uber eats and put in the description if they could add as much cheese as they could as I am having a bad day. Got the extra cheese and a lovely note to go with it. Really brightened up my day and I can't thank them enough.

Just popped in when walking down the front, good size portions. Husband said its the best bolgenese he's had yet. Lovely cheesecake too. Pizzas are big and children's portions are a good size too.

This place is a little gem! A must if you’re in Weston for a visit. Food was beautiful and service is second to none, all the staff are super friendly but the head waiter/manager maybe, was the nicest guy (unfortunately can’t remember his name) he was made for that role! They all go the extra mile. Well Done Guys. Keep up the good work.

This seemed like the place to be on a Saturday night in Weston. Highlights: Charcuteríe board starter 🤌🏼 , the presentation of the foods was beautiful. The monkfish was amazing.

We just happened upon this place as we were down in Western on holiday. We hadn’t booked but we were very Warmly welcomed by the amazing staff here. From Start to finish the service was 5 star plus and the food was excellent. Thank you for making a lovely memory to our trip to western. We’ll certainly be back again.

Authentic Italian food. My partner and I had Calamari Fritti, Orchidee all'aragosta, Burrata Pugliese, Tiramisu and a pizza Il Michelangelo to go. The food was delicious. Being Italian myself it's not easy to find some real good Italian meals. If you try it, and appreciate good Italian dinner this is the place to go to. Staff and service was top notch. Vincenzo

Yesterday (Saturday 17th August ), Myself, my daughter and her husband and my Grandaughter and her husband visited Michelangelo for a special lunch, to celebrate our getting together, as we all live fairly far apart. What a disappointment my lunch was. I chose ‘Catch of the day’ as I enjoy fish normally……. Your fish was absolutely disgusting, it was dried out and the smell of it was bad. The potato cake was runny and quite cold, the veg consisted of a few sticks of broccoli and green feathery pieces of fern like veg on top !! So sad. I really should have made a complaint, but couldn’t spoil our day, so I just left it. Very expensive and very disappointing. I have to mention that your waiting staff are brilliant …. We all agreed that we would not be visiting Michelangelo again in the future.

Great food and good service by efficient and friendly staff. Booked for my wife’s birthday. I advised them of the occasion on booking. On two occasions while we were there the waiting staff sang “Happy Birthday “ for other guests, unfortunately not for my wife.

Impressive from start to finish, this restaurant was a great experience. Service and food were prompt which we valued a lot with my toddler with us for this early evening dinner. Food was completely delicious, beautiful pizza, pasta and seafood dishes, and dessert a real treat. Impeccable service with a smile and a great location with a view out over the beach. A great choice for a special occasion.

Had the stroganoff and wife had the veal. Both were really tasty.

Lovely meal. Visited with Husband and son. Although they were extremely busy we were seated promptly, the meal and service were superb. Lots of choice and great specials. Staff were attentive and very friendly 10/10🌟

Table booked months ago for 11 people at 8pm for an 80th birthday meal. Arrived at 7.55pm to decorate the table only to find people on the table we had reserved had only just ordered dessert! Asked how long before we would be sat at a table (one person not long after major surgery) and nobody could tell us By 8.30 we managed to be seated- standing around for 30 minutes was not fun! If it hadn’t been a birthday meal we would have left and gone elsewhere! We were squashed in to a table that could only accommodate 8 or maybe 9 at a push. This meant our plates were touching and we frequently elbowed each other when eating. Food bland and inedible. Most food left on plates. Steak was ok but being an Italian restaurant you would think the pasta dishes would be their specialty. Next to no meat in the lasagne, pizza was worse than a supermarket bought one. Seafood pasta was dry. Didn’t have dessert as no point throwing away more money. Restaurant also very loud so you have to shout to have a conversation. Also have to ask numerous staff to chase drink orders. Not the experience we wanted for an 80th and definitely will not return!

Really good food. Fresh, tasty, well presented. The serving staff were brilliant too. Really attentive, worked hard, and really nice people. Lovely location too overlooking the sea but much quieter than further down the seafront. Would definitely recommend

Food is expensive for what you got. We have visited a number of times, even more unimpressed this time.

First time we have actually been into the restaurant (we normally have takeaway), so date night we knew it was a must. Beautifully decorated & clean. Lovely atmosphere for everyone there. We liked the fact the staff were Italian & were friendly and attentive to all customers needs. Service was incredibly efficient despite the restaurant being completely packed! We received our food without a long wait time. Food piping hot, freshly cooked, well presented and honestly the best Italian food we have ever tasted. Was lovely to sit where you can see the chefs cooking. Another observation was you can see the staff took pride in their jobs & always with a smile on their faces although they were zooming around serving everyone. I can honestly see why Michelangelo is highly rated & a favourite for locals. Thank you 🙏

Beautiful food, I had the prosciutto and fungi pizza, tasted lovely. The restaurant has an extremely authentic feeling well presented and welcoming. I'm afraid I ate everything before I remembered to take a picture.

We love this restaurant and go every time we're in Weston-super-Mare. Book in advance! Superb food and staff. It was the busiest we have ever seen it this visit, every table occupied, but standards and quality didn't slip. 100% recommend.

Having been to many Italian restaurants over the years I can honestly say this is the best one ever. Went there on Thursday with seven others on a recommendation and was blown away by the quality of the food service and atmosphere. As we live in Dartford and were there for a few days playing golf so unlikely to be back for a while but you have a hidden jem there!!

They advertise on Uber eats buy one get one free but don't actually deliver buy one get one free. Avoid

Great for allergies! If you are looking for amazing food, accommodating staff and great decor, this is your place. Every dish wowed my parter and I and the staff were knowledgable about every dish and how it was made. The staff were extremely authentic and friendly. If I didn’t live 3 hours away I would come back every day.

Special opera evening, had the set menu: Lobster ravioli Beef medallions with mushrooms in cream Lemon cheesecake with raspberry coulis Everything was delicious and excellently prepared. Definitely worth checking out the rest of the menu.

As always, Michelangelo's never disappoints. The food is great quality and beautifully presented. The staff are so smartly dressed and eager to please. All staff who served us were happy to engage in conversation and nothing felt too much trouble. A special place for special occasions. Thank you.

Would give the restaurant 5 stars as the food was really good, but when we came to pay the bill and had the tip option on the card reader machine, the waiter gestured to the 10% and stood over us watching. We were going to give a tip but feeling like we were being pressured into it, we pressed 'no tip'. The waiter then showed poor body language when taking the card reader back as though he was offended, didn't say thank you (or anything for that matter), then completely blanked us on the way out when we walked past him a few moments later despite not being busy with anything. We were quite shocked. It was a shame as it spoilt the experience a bit and the food was very nice and had been plated up pretty immaculately. Credits to the chefs - they deserve 5 stars. The pizza especially was great!

Good menu, delicious food all served hot and plenty of it. Good value for money we thought. Although not cheap. The garlic ‘pizza’ bread starter with cheese was plentiful for two and with generous garlic 😋We both had Fillet Steak, both cooker at different temperatures and both spot on. Hand cut chips were excellent, as was the zucchini fritti and spinach Was hoping to try the pistachio ice cream but was full. We will be back for sure 👍

Starters were really good but I ordered a well done steak and when it arrived it was medium and very fatty. I left half of it and when my plate was cleared the waiter did not ask if my meal was ok or why I had left half my steak. Did not bother to order a dessert as we felt like they just wanted the table freed up. Toilets were not clean and there were used toilet rolls everywhere. Will not be returning.

I am a delivery driver for deliveroo. The staff are courteous and pleasant to interact with, even if the wait times for getting food can be a bit long.

This was recommended by a friend who lives locally. Lived up to expectations and beyond. Food was excellent, the staff were friendly and engaging. There was a light and pleasant atmosphere. Lovely linen tablecloths and d napkins. Definitely worth a visit.

Came here with high expectations after seeing a 4.7 score. But the food is below par and expensive! Although the scallops were lovely, the sea bass was bland, no seasoning and cold and used the same sauce as starter (job lot). I think that score is high because peoples expectations must be low and just not foodies! Also the seating area maybe bright and clean, but waking towards the toilet was disgusting 🤢 the carpet was filthy the doors as well, it was smelly, and the kitchen area smelt of cigarette smoke!!! Would not visit here again!!!

Beautiful food, fantastic service. Decor is lovely and great location on the sea front. Only downfall was finding a foreign object in food. It was at the very end and I would still likely return due to it being a good experience overall.

This is our favourite restaurant in Weston. We went there for my birthday on a Magic Night. As always the service is above and beyond, and the food excellent. The attention to detail makes this the very best of venues to eat out at. Thank you once again for making a memorable birthday treat for me again

Food is good but for myself, the carbonara is very heavy and greasy. Will be back to try again.

Very disappointed, arrived at 7.30 and had to wait a very uncomfortable 40 minutes standing at the bar for our table. We then had to find someone to take our order, it was 9.10 before we got any food. The only good staff member was the young lady who took our drinks order. The food was good but we won’t be rushing back anytime soon. A really disappointingly evening to celebrate a birthday.

Just the best, we popped in last week had not made a reservation and were welcomed with a hello and smile, we had a couple of drinks and a couple of main courses, relaxed for a few hours with no pressure. Jimmy and the staff are amazing

Just enjoyed a lovely afternoon sitting outside at Michel Angelos in Wsm ..nice outlook ,great atmosphere ( obviously the weather was on our side) we could well have been dining out somewhere abroad . To top it off I had the best fillet steak that I have had for years . Compliments to the chef ,as it was cooked to perfection ,full of flavour / tender ….I did not want it to end . And we often dine at the Pastures in Bristol , so I have some idea of what a decent steak should be like , and this was a 10/10 Topped off by very friendly / helpful team , nothing is to much trouble for them to make your experience complete Thank you

Absolutely beautiful meal in a lovely atmosphere. We havent been to Michelangelo's for quite a few years. No particular reason but it was lovely to see all the improvements they've made to the restaurant. We ate in the conservatory which had spectacular views. We will definitely be coming again more regularly

Excellent service, good food, reasonable prices. Been there twice now on different months so it must be good.

We went here twice. At first time starter mix of seafood salad was soo fresh and delicious, something tomatoey on toast was also delicious. On the main menu steak was brilliant, baby cow meat totally waste of money. It comes huge looking coated batter piece, and then you slice it to eat there is nothing in there, you slice more and more and finally you find hair thing like meat in there. If taste was delicious it could be tolerable but taste wasnt also good. Also we had raviolle it was good, it comes 4 piece for £16. I loved the taste, it was beetrooty flaovur, It looks so small but at the end of 4 piece I can of had enough. For the second time we were 4 people, except one of us, who eat steak, was very not satisfied with the food. I had king prawns as a starter, was recommended by the waiter, he absolutely said this is the top quality have it…. Prawn wasnt fresh, it weirdly mushed crumbled in my mouth and zero taste. I gave it to friend to get the idea, aldo didnt taste anything. That was very sad. For main I had chicken something, chicken was very soft but there is no enough juice in the plate, I couldnt swallow. Sauce was tasty but needed more. Other one had Crap, very small and not very top quality. If you really want to go there have steak, both time that was brialliant. And ofcourse tiramisu was so good. Note: there is so limited car space, but there is car park near by( 6-7min by walk)

Great food, lovely atmosphere staff are wonderful. We had a lovely meal, real Italian food and pizza's are fantastic.

After a phone call we booked hear feeling confident I could eat here as a coeliac. They don't have allergens on the menu but all staff were knowledgeable and double checked I was not sharing starters with others that had gluten in their dishes . The food was delicious and they offered to adapt any dish I wanted to make it free from gluten . The only thing they could not offer was bread as it would have been baked in their pizza oven .

We came here for our wedding anniversary and was greeted by a warm and friendly staff who were helpful and polite. The food was exceptional and full of flavours. We will be going back with family and friends. Thanks to all of you for a lovely dining experience.

Disappointed. After our meal we tried to make a booking for my SiL special birthday in August, bearing in mind we are only just into April. A table for ten that we wanted in a particular location. Said they were unable to guarantee even though 4 months ahead! Guess we'll take our business elsewhere.
