Great food and the best table service I’ve experienced in a long time. The pork belly starter was delicious. I shall definitely come back.

We are regulars at Aqua Portishead and keep coming back for family meals because of the consistently excellent food and service. The team always makes us feel welcome, and the quality never disappoints. Recently, we hired the outdoor space for a private function, and the experience was outstanding. Asia deserves a special mention—she catered to our every need, handled the group effortlessly, and ensured everything ran smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble, and her attention to detail was incredible. The food was fantastic, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. Shem, the operations director, can also be singled out for always adding a personal touch to every visit, making us feel like valued guests. Aqua Portishead is a true gem, and we highly recommend it for both casual dining and special occasions.

We ate at Aqua this evening as part of a birthday celebration in a party of 10. We arrived with 3 toddlers, two older children and a wheelchair, with gluten allergies, milk allergies and soya allergies! Ella our server could not have been more helpful and unlike in some places, never showed an ounce of irritation at our constant questions and requests! We had a great evening; thank you!

So for my birthday I met my mother (Marina resident) for breakfast at Aqua. We knew it wouldn’t disappoint. We were greeted and served by the lovely Asia (Asha). And when Mum mentioned it was my birthday, so Asia brought a complimentary glass of Prosecco to enjoy with my breakfast, and after she surprised me with a special dessert! Compliments to you Asia. You were very courteous and I’m glad you were at our service today.

Very expensive for what it was with. Vegetables were extra. Family lunch cost us £45-£50 a head with only one person drinking wine and two drinking beer. The place was very cold. Disappointing. However the staff were very good.

Met friends at this restaurant, they had been before and live locally, my first time I had travelled from London. Service and ambience very good, maybe a tad noisy, for some. Food was good, my wild mushroom tagliatelle was exceptional, rich, great flavours, it has Bath blue cheese and truffle oil. I’m not a vegetarian, but often have a dish that doesn’t contain meat. Would highly recommended this dish and it has locally sourced cheese.mmmmmm

A special Christmas lunch with friends, great food, excellent service by Daisy and in a lovely setting…

We had an excellent lunch here. There were 20 of us, ranging from 2-96 years and the staff coped admirably, especially Deya who smiled and catered for all our needs. Food was wonderful too.
