Tarantella Ristorante in North Somerset

Lovely food and great service. We popped in for a Saturday lunch and the pizza and pasta was really tasty and the almond pudding was lovely.

Absolutely stunning meal. Very reasonable and great service 👍 We had a divine aubergine starter which I would go back for but all the dishes were lovely.

We were a large party but we had pre ordered so was well organised. Food was nice ,but not spectacular. Everyone seemed to enjoy what they had chosen. All in all a nice experience.

Working away from home I thought I would try this restaurant as it is only across the road from the accommodation and the food smelt amazing.. Well it did not disappoint the fillet steak was one of the best I have had in a long time and came out on a skillet staff very friendly and attentive will definately be back

It is unfortunate that the service really let this place down, as the food was good. We waited forever for someone to come and take our order, yet couples that were seated after us were seen to before us. We then sat waiting for our drinks for ages, and the food arrived before the drinks! I was about a quarter of the way though my meal when the bottle of wine finally arrived. It would have been nice to have enjoyed a glass of wine whilst waiting for our meal. Food as I said was quite nice, and maybe we were just unlucky with the service the day we went, but I would think twice before returning.

Staff were friendly and helpful, service was excellent and the food absolutely divine. The garlic bread wasn't what you would usually get, bread spread with garlic butter, this was like a cross between flat bread and a pizza dough it was light and very garlicky, they say it's can be shared by two people, we shared ours and still took home half. But that's ok as we get to enjoy it another day. We both had pasta dishes which again was plentiful and tasty and yes again we ended up taken half home as a take away. Will definitely visit again next time we're in WSM.

Fantastic and authentic Italian restaurant. The lunch menu is exceptional value. The food was wonderful; plentiful and tasty. My fiorentina pizza was perfect, as was the rocket and walnut salad. The garlic bread starter is huge and delicious. Other members of our party very much enjoyed their pasta dishes. The service was spot on; attentive but not intrusive. We hadn’t booked this restaurant on a Friday evening but as we got there just as they opened I thought we’d be ok, pleased to say we were :-))) My husband and I both had a pizza and OMG they are huge!! We didn’t have to wait very long either, and the food was piping hot. I asked our waitress if it was possible to remove an item as it was hot peppers and replace with black olives. I was expecting to find the olives on our bill as an extra but no they weren’t which I thought was a very nice thing to do. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant and not to be disappointed BOOK.

I had dinner here with my wife a couple of weeks ago. It was a lovely meal with good service. We were on holiday in Weston for the first time and had no idea where to get a good meal. I love this spot! i had birthday meals here as a kid, my request, and it has never disappointed! whenever i have something to celebrate, Tarantella is where i come. I get quite nervous in more 'fancy' settings, but the staff here are so lovely and welcoming every time, it feels much less intimidating. They answer any complex questions my family have, and the food is just delicious. I've never ordered something i didn't like from this restaurant, i absolutely recommend to anyone who enjoys good food :)

I adore this restaurant. The quality of food is outstanding whether it is from the main menu or the cheaper lunch time menu. The value for money from the later is outstanding and on a Sunday lunch time too ! Three courses for 22 pounds ! The service is efficient and friendly and the portion sizes generous. This is my favourite to eat out restaurant in Weston. I highly recommend and the choice of wines suites all budgets and tastes. Mr Bishop, Weston Super Mare.

Had the steak 🥩 Scottish premium, on the hot stone, for the price is amazing. In other other places just the presentation costs and my husband had the calzone which was huge and filling. FYI He almost fell asleep after finishing it. Cocktails too, the blue Hawaii was my favourite and we will definitely be back for more! Love it, love it.

Ok so what first attracted us to this place was the Lunch menu that was on the website at £13.99 for 2 courses. Brilliant value and there were a couple of dishes on the mains that didn’t involve carbs, ie pasta/pizza which we were looking out for as dieting! Upon arrival the board outside stated that 2 courses were £18 from the lunch menu. Quite a hike. Deciding g tho to give it a go we went ahead with our reservation and I questioned the waiter about the price increase. He then proceeded to make up an excuse that the website had been hacked so therefore the prices were incorrect. If you actually go on the website tge first thing you see is the Festive Menu and then Valentines, all out of date which in itself is misleading and then the out of date lunch menu. This is very bad. Deciding not to walk away we gave it a try. Chose a nice bottle of Rose, which was a bit overpriced at £27. Starters were presented very nicely as a huge garlic bread, and Tempura Prawns. Mains were a Spaghetti Carbonara for me with overcooked pieces of bacon, and a Chicken in Buttermilk Coating with GRAVY AND MASHED POTATO WITH PEAS IN IT!) seriously is this an Italian dish? It I was deep fried in breadcrumbs to the extreme and very dry. Excuse by the waiter that they did not want it to resemble a KFC! Sorry but that that would have tasted better! She took most of the batter off and ate the still dry meat underneath. The waiter said we should have said we wanted the chicken softer and he DID take her main off the bill when he offered. Seriously tho guys, you really need to up your game when offering good value lunch menus as a few others in the town are doing better food at better prices.

This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. The service was excellent, staff are very friendly and portions are good. I had a lovely glass of house wine and consequently ordered a bottle. Unfortunately however, the wine was slightly different and I did not enjoy as much. I struggled to order a starter so asked for olives with bread and oils. The olives were excellent but the bread was a tiny portion and oils did not appear. However, I would return as the main course options were very good and we had a very enjoyable evening.

First time visited for quite a long time. Not disappointed… Excellent food, we all had something different. Excellent service, and even with today’s prices, reasonably priced. Absolutely return.
