The best restaurants serving Italian food in North Somerset South West

We enjoyed one of the best meals I have ever had! The tapas were outstanding. Fantastic range of foods. We chose about a dozen different ones which were delicious and large enough for 4 of us to share. An excellent range of wines, beers, ciders and soft drinks, as well as ice creams and macarons to finish made this meal, along with the helpful and attentive service. You need to book as there are only a few tables. The deli is equally good with home cooked pastries, great coffee and well sourced drinks,meats, cheeses etc Thanks!

Came for Valentines night. The restaurant was beautifully decorated to add special touch. The set price Valentines menu was well thought out with a good variety of dishes to choose from. Good value for money for Valentines night when some restaurants might take advantage to charge a premuim. Excellent presentation of food which was tasty and generous in size. The service was excellent even though they were extremely busy. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable with recommendations.

We’ve used Antonio’s for years, the food and service is fantastic, such good value for the price. There are not many places like this around anymore - thoroughly recommend!

Amazing food! The early bird menu was just £19.95 for 3 courses! The food was absolutely delicious, big portions, super tasty and obviously homemade. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough….. Bellisimo!! 😘 Gracie millae!

Just absolutely outstanding!! Came tonight with my family for my sisters birthday The service was incredible The staff are so happy and friendly and extremely welcoming Every bit of food was so nice and fresh 😋 They even went out their way to make up a proper plate for my son who is autistic and doesn't like certain foods. Every single course was piping hot and so worth the money. Will definitely be returing for future birthdays and meal nights out

Not my first visit, and certainly not my last. The menu caters for vegetarians and vegans, the food is consistently brilliant and the service is excellent.

Good choice of Italian food. Very tasty and prepared well. We all had three courses and each was cooked, and very much as described. Staff were very helpful, courteous and attentive. We will certainly go again, maybe in the evening for the dinners.

Very expensive for what it was with. Vegetables were extra. Family lunch cost us £45-£50 a head with only one person drinking wine and two drinking beer. The place was very cold. Disappointing. However the staff were very good.

This was our first visit to Skoozi, with 4 friends and we probably won’t be rushing back. Nobody in the local area has been able to replace Il Giardino restaurant, which didn’t reopen after Covid, as our “go-to”, special occasion restaurant. Skoozi has a lot of work to do to get near that level. Welcome ok. Service ok. Food ok. Price expensive. If you’re there during the winter, ask for a table away from the front door, as there was a cold wind blowing in the night we were there.

Had a (not booked in advance), meal for two with my Dad on a Thursday night. Even though it was very quiet, the atmosphere was still nice, and everyone who served us in any way was very friendly. The food was nice, the portion sizes were generous, and the prices were more reasonable than I'd expected. The calamari was a tad chewy, and the pizza could have used a little longer for a crispier base, but everything tasted good, so no real complaints. (The automatically added 10% service charge is a bit irritating, it's not like we were a table of 6, and no-one likes to ask to have it removed..and neither did we). chances are we'll be back 🙂.

What a find I would give it more stars if I could. Excellent food not one thing we could fault and there were 4 of us. We all chose different starters, mains and shared a cheeseboard. Don’t drive by this little gem I highly recommend.

We usually enjoy our visits to this garden centre and we did appreciate the many plants and flowers on display as we strolled around. But then we decided to have some refreshments. There is inside and outside seating and we chose inside. My companion wanted a flat white coffee and I ordered tea. After about 20 minutes I enquired as to whether they had forgotten us. They quickly brought our order and my friend's coffee was just right. However my tea must have been left standing, waiting for the coffee to be made as it was very very strong and almost tepid! The Cafe assistants should be trained how to serve different drinks simultaneously without leaving one of them to be standing too long, especially tea! I cannot abide strong tea and neither can my stomach! Very disappointing!

I love this place! Great coffee, food and staff. It's where I go to do my admin!
