Excellent quality food and great service in combination. I've been to two other Italians in town in the reasonably short time that I've lived in the area. One was part of a chain and was disappointing at best, the other which is an independent, was absolutely abysmal! Gino's is it the absolute polar opposite of these two. A beautifully presented dining room and great, attentive staff compliment and authentic Italian menu. I came with my partner and her mum and all three of us were served perfectly cooked and delicious Italian food. What more could you want! I'm currently booking a table for valentine's Day for myself and my partner. I think that's enough of a recommendation right there! Thank you so much guys and see you soon.

Visited last weekend with family and friends. Notes from our visit1. Please clean your toilets. Sinks flity...2. Chefs should be wearing hats and kitchen uniforms. They shouldn't be working with their Jean's...NOT HYGIENIC3. Menu is very good, but the execution of the dishes are horrible. Eg: brushetta should be on a toasted bread, tomatoes should be room temperature not ice cold from fridge...4. You shouldn't be serving food on a chipped plates.Such a shame as they have a lovely concept and menu but lack of care and management. We wont be returning.

Doesn't seem to have a physical location/restaurant anymore like the google photos and location data suggest. Circled the block twice in the pouring rain looking for it and it just wasn't there. Seems to be a private kitchen for delivery only now.

First time I have been for a meal here and won’t be back! Overpriced lasagna poorly presented - layers of fresh pasta topped with bolognaise sauce. Had difficulty finding the bechamel sauce. Meal not very warm.

My food was ok. My friends was cold and had a very strong aftertaste of what we think was olive oil. The music was very loud so it was not a relaxing atmosphere. The waiter took my friends dishes away before I had finished and then we realised he had taken our pot of tea as well. Won’t return.

Disappointing food, poorly seasoned and presented. Wouldn't rush back.

The food has no flavour what so ever and everything was dry! The main host stephano I think his name is? Was very touchy feely with all the women including his youg female waitress! Was extremely disturbing and off putting. I heard he hires young girls and acts very weird around them. So please don’t ever work there. Disgusting. Update for your reply, you think it’s okay to put your hands/arms around peoples waist etc…you know exactly what I mean. You touch female staff constantly & touch customers!

Last minute decision to pop in on a busy Friday night. We had dogs so sat in the covered outside space. Great wine. Great food. Great service.

We visited Bella Calabria as a family of five on a Friday evening whilst in the Portsmouth area. We found it on TripAdvisor originally and were unfortunately hugely disappointed. Firstly, we had such an issue parking- admittedly not the restaurants fault but was a real hassle. We arrived slightly late (they were fine about this, which was nice, but that was about where the nice customer service stopped). We were seated and a waiter promptly arrived to take drinks orders (different waiter to the one who took us to the table). The waiter who took our drinks order was very rude and just grunted at us- seemed as though he really didn't want to be there. Drinks arrived promptly but tasted awful- we ordered 2× diet pepsi's and 3× normal pepsi's- but they didn't taste like Pepsi at all- more like cheap knock off cola from Lidl- and for a steep £4.50 EACH. Food order was then taken by a politer waitress- and it arrived in good time, but all of us agreed that the food was unfortunately bland and relatively tasteless- just not upto scratch at all sadly. We also ordered sides of chips- which were frankly disgusting. They were soggy, greasy and barely warm with no taste whatsoever. Disappointing- as also £4.50 a serving! Recieved the bill and was asked by yet ANOTHER waiter- 'Do you want the change?' (he was more friendly though) Needless to say, we DID want the change after the appalling food and unwelcoming service. Will not be returning, left feeling hugely disappointed. Don't recommend.

Terrible customer service — would give zero stars if possible. Me and my partner have been at this place one time before when we had a good time and I left a good review although recently he called this pizza shop on Saturday night and greeted the staff by saying “hello brother.” Instead of a normal response, the person on the phone response was a shocking stream of all sorts of vulgar insults and then told him never to call again.Completely unprovoked and absolutely unacceptable.The person sounded drunk and unprofessional He went to the shop in person to get an explanation, but nobody there had the courage to speak up or take responsibility. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. We won’t be returning, and I suggest others avoid this place too
