Best Italian restaurant in town, Alex the owner very kind and Sabita very friendly.

Freshly made pizza at its best! I brilliantly casual place to dine. Staff are friendly. Food and drink are great value. Our son if gluten free so it was a relief to learn how they take real care to keep it separate. We'll be going back!

I've been here before and the food was much better so it may be an off night. The drinks and service was excellent, so just one of those days I'm sure.

Absolutely loved our pre-theatre dinner at Franco Manca in Brighton! We didn’t have a reservation and thought we might be out of luck, but thanks to Maria’s excellent customer service, she managed to find us a spot just in time before our show. The food was exactly what we needed—fresh, piping hot, and full of flavour. The sourdough pizza bases were perfect, and everything came out quickly without compromising on quality. Great atmosphere, efficient service, and a smooth experience from start to finish. Huge thanks to Maria and the team. Franco Manca is now our go-to for a pre-theatre meal in Brighton! Hemos comido en este restaurante durante varios años, pero nos fuimos decepcionados después de nuestra visita del domingo. Después de pedir un gluten - entrante libre y principal, la ensalada de pimiento romano llegó sin pimientos. La primera razón aducida fue que había gluten en los pimientos (aunque pedido en el menú gluten - gratis) , y cuando se nos preguntó más, nos dijeron que los pimientos no estaban en temporada. Esto fue seguido por encontrar una etiqueta de plástico en su boca desde su inicio. El camarero dijo que probablemente era de un recipiente de queso... Luego, el lado de mi marido de "verduras de temporada" se olvidó y solo llegó después de que se le preguntó al camarero dónde estaban (y hacia el final de la comida) y resultó ser solo un plato de judías verdes, que estoy seguro de que no se ajustan a los criterios de temporada ... Realmente decepcionado 😞

Tasty, authentic food, pleasant atmosphere without being too noisy. Excellent service especially from Northey and Martina, who chatted and made us feel special. Thank you, you're both an asset to this restaurant!

Outstanding authentic food, with wonderful friendly service. This is by far the best Italian food I’ve had. Well worth a visit to anyone that enjoys genuine authentic Italian cooking.

Ambiente brillante y servicio fantástico y comida absolutamente genial. El servicio fue excelente y atento y muy amable. La comida vino perfectamente cocinada y súper sabrosa. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente si en la zona. Muy bien valorado por la calidad de la comida y no dudaría en volver.

Came here on a weekday lunchtime. It wasn’t very busy as we arrived at 12pm. The food was lovely, great vegan pizza. Unfortunately the service let the place down. The waiter looked like he wanted to be anywhere else but there. It took a long time for our bill to be presented to us when we really needed to leave. I would still return, for the food alone. But wouldn’t make plans to be anywhere quickly afterwards!

Good pizzeria with real Italian feel.

I stumbled into this pizzeria by accident, and honestly, it was the best mistake I’ve made all week! My pizza with rocket and Parma ham was so good, I almost asked for a second one. My fiancé had a curly unusual pasta with prawns and asparagus, and it was so tasty, I briefly considered trading some of my pizza for a bite. The service was friendly, the vibe was cosy, and I’m already planning my next accidental visit! Highly recommend!

Llegamos a las 9:30 y nos dijeron que habían dejado de servir a pesar de que cerraron a las 11. 30 . Totalmente inaceptable.

Authentic Italian food with a homely atmosphere and attentive service.

Visiting Oxford for a days with a group staying in Cowley and we got pizza and pasta to go and everything we got was fantastic. Highly recommended.
