Wonderful village pub, very dog friendly. They have a freshly made pizza menu, including options for us coeliac and gluten free humans - and the GF pizza bases are excellent.

Disappointing service and food salty marked this down from previous visits. We preferred some olives and bread starters. When they were served the waitress spilt the olive oil dish all over the table. No offer to replenish the spilt oil and only wiped it up when we asked for it. The main courses were all v salty and the pulled chicken pizza was doughy with v little chicken. We’ve eaten here before but seems like standards have slipped.

Brought a party of eight - no better than an average experience - the garden tables (we had to have two (no 50)) were both in poor condition: one only had two rails to sit on both sides; the other was very low - not good having just had a hip replaced, and the central plank on the table was loose. Food was generally OK and enjoyed, but one of the pizzas was ordered with a soft egg which was left off, the pizza went back to have a fried egg added. When it was brought to the table, it was cold and the base had hardened and was like eating a cardboard box. Worse was that the menu said that it had a Roquefort base, but couldn’t taste that at all. Not sure that I will hurry back there - there is so much competition and choice, but, the QH is great if you have kids with you.

A lively local serving good food. It was a bank holiday weekend, so it was really busy with live music in the garden but plenty of room to sit inside or out. The service was great and the food.

Ordered food and after an hour and half we got told the Waitrose forgot to put the order through, after asking to re order we got told the kitchen was closed. Staff were rude and did not apologies

Lovely evening, the pub was lively and busy with families and people sitting in the sun (plenty of outside tables). The village of Sheet is beautiful and quirky. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Monday nights are Pizza only but this wasn't a problem, as we were served the best Pizza I have had in a long time. Decent choice of Real Ales also. We will be back!

A wonderful local pub with a great range of beers and food. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Well worth a visit when in the area

Cracking village community boozer just outside Petersfield (near the Shipwrights Way). Decent ale selection outside of the usual dreary chain brown garb. Super beer garden in what is a stunning village. This is what we want.

We enjoyed an impromptu early evening meal at this friendly, welcoming pub. We considered ourselves lucky to get a table - most were reserved - and luckier still to get attentive, considerate table service. It was a good meal and great value 😊

Was here for a family birthday party. Staff were friendly and checked when we'd be ready for food so it came out at the right time. Good was great, I had chicken wings followed by pulled pork sandwich, both treated delicious and portions were pretty good. Pub itself was nice, your typical English village pub.

This is a great English pub, good selection of ale and lager. The menu is good with a special board. We had a steak sandwich and chips, which were excellent, and a classic burger with chips was also very tasty. Highly recommended.

Very vibey establishment with a great selection of beers, tasty mulled wine, delicious food and a good atmosphere. A mix of families, old friends catching up, sports teams having a (respectful) festive drink and us, out-of-towners, feeling as welcome as the warmth when stepping in out of the cold. Great friendly staff too.

Lovely little village pub which serves food. Though we didn't try the food on this occasion, it looked tempting for our next visit. Great friendly welcome from the young man behind the bar as soon as I walked in, even though it was very busy at the bar. Staff were speedy in getting people served with polite efficiency. Great beer garden for sharing a bottle of bubbles in the evening sunshine. Would recommend.

Another reunion, a new venue, a BIG success ! This is the best pub for miles around, and so conveniently located for road connections when three old mates get together for a lunch and catch up!

We were a family group of 12 and thoroughly enjoyed a Birthday celebration at this great English pub. The gentlemen running the pub and staff were very friendly and attentive. We had their sharing menu for large groups which showcased their Italian dishes all of which were consumed with relish. As a bonus there is a good range of beers and cider.

We only had a quick drink whilst waiting for our takeaway pizzas (which were excellent), but the beer selection was great and it was a very friendly pub.

In the village of Sheet on the outskirts of Petersfield. We've been here three times recently for dinner, twice as a family group of eight plus two six-month-old retriever puppies and once just the two of us. It's always quite busy so essential to book in good time. They are definitely dog friendly despite the young puppies being rather boisterous! Thank you. The menu is extensive, focussing on pizzas (24 options) and burgers (7 options). That said, there are also 13 starters, salads, grills (including sea bass) and sides!! See their website. Our table had the olives and garlic pizza bread as starters - generous serving of lovely olives and very good bread. Followed by pizzas, burgers, salads; all were voted as very good. I had the Calamari, the Aubergine Parmigiana (twice) - both excellent - then a sirloin steak the third visit - OKish but rather chewey - not their speciality! Despite being busy the service was noticeably friendly, prompt and attentive; that's impessive! The important Food Standards Agency Hygiene Rating is a 5 - the top mark; excellent. Large car park behind plus on-street parking. Overall: well worth a visit.

The welcome and the service we received was very good but the food was not great, far too salty for my taste. In fact I was drinking water well into the night to compensate. My husband said that his meal was the same. The so called ‘white chocolate brownie’ was coated in brown chocolate sauce and contained the grand total of 2 white chocolate chips! Won’t be returning here again soon.

Popular pub serving Italian cuisine. I had a Pizza Calzone - Amalfi, which was tasty, followed by Sticky Toffee Pudding, which was very good. I had Meon Valley Amber Ale - well-kept and good.

They weren't serving food when we visited so unfortunately I can't speak to that. The bartender couldn't understand English so that was frustrating. Great outdoor area though.

During our stay in Sheetwe, we ate twice in the pub. Lovely staff and the food was good. Very busy on the first visit which was slightly off-putting as clearly some of the other guests seemed to like talking quite loudly !. Apart from that nice place to eat.

The pub is situated in the village of Sheet and has a nice beer garden as well as an outdoor marquee area to sit in (plus the tables inside). They have about 6 ales on tap and a few lagers/ciders. The food is centred around burgers, pizza and salads so no Sunday roasts. We thoroughly enjoyed all our meals. The portions were just right and prices aren’t bad. Service was quick and efficient. Will definitely return.

Superb outdoor space with different zones for shade, sun, dining, groups etc. with a lovely village view. Really friendly staff. Small bar but plenty to choose from particularly cask. Great for a walk from Petersfield town. Look forward to trying the food next time!

We had a lovely evening. Our second one here with different sets of friends. One couple who had never visited. The other hadn't been for years. All very impressed with the food, service and lovely set out. A lovely cosy traditional pub but with plenty of outside areas including lovely garden. The food is delicious and well priced. We live in nearby Petersfield but increasingly find it difficult to rely on getting a meal due to very random opening times and last minute changes to food service. Definitely worth a 25 minute walk to Sheet where The Queen's Head have nailed it.

We have had a few meals here in the last 18 months or so and been very impressed. Very good pizzas/burgers and excellent service. A lovely village pub with choices of inside or outside places to sit. It has become increasingly difficult to find places to eat in Petersfield with random opening hours and food availability but just a short walk to Sheet gives us everything we want. They really deserve to do well.

Decent pub. Clearly very popular with the locals as the main building was bursting at the seams. Had a delicious steak which was way better than I expected it to be.

This pub was rad. Great outdoor seating full of tables and people with their dogs! Cafe lights lit the area at night. We ordered at the bar and sat down, staff will bring your food out. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The food was great i was super excited about the vegan cheese on my pizza. They had many vegan as veggie options on their menu.

What a delightful cosy pub! Nice menu available, we chose a pizza and a calzone and weren't disappointed. Puddings were the white chocolate and Nutella cheesecake and the pecan pie and ice cream- really good. Drinks were Aspall Cider on draught, Absolute Citron and two shots of tequila. Had a really lovely evening spent outside as the football was on inside and was quite busy. Dog friendly pub which is always nice in my opinion. Two different rooms to sit in as well as under the canopy and garden. Toilets clean Great service Would definitely re visit if we were back round this way again.
