Absolutely beautiful pizza and wine in a family run restaurant. We had a lovely meal, thanks so much!

Simply put; the best Pizza i've ever had. The dough has a slight bit of crunch and then pillow-soft and light & airy. Just perfection!

Cool little place. Lovely vegan pizza enjoyed by our group of 4 (3 are not vegan but loved it!). Sat outside as it was a sunny June evening, but glad we had blankets. Busy (popular) yet service was still great! Shame there weren’t vegan dessert options.

I've had Guido's many times with friends, family and colleagues. Whatever you decide to have, the restraunt offers a simple, but delicious menu; a must try.

Decided to have a pizza for the first time from here. It was nearly £30 for 2 pizzas to take away and they were average at best- disappointed considering cost. Sauce was thin and cheese was scarce and not cooked well. Base of pizza was so soft it stuck to the cardboard casing and wouldn’t come away so pizza was not cooked properly

The best pizza I have ever had, in or out of Italy!! We had the polenta chips and artichokes for starters, both cooked to absolute perfection. The pizza with goats cheese cream and broccoli rabe was to die for, and we finished with a lovely apple sponge. This place was understandably packed even on a weekday evening, but the service was so attentive and friendly. A special shout out to Elsie and Will who couldn't do enough for us. I live an hour away but will be making the trip back here for sure! Thanks guys!

Food was divine from starters to desserts. Every single morsel was a delicious delight! You could taste the amazing toppings on the pizza. If you like bitter cruciferous vegetables try the broccoli rabe. The goats cheese cream was beautifully drizzled on. The servers Elsie and Will were so charming. Probably the best pizza we've ever had. I wish we lived closer. You should book if you want to go, because its very popular. One of the nicest restaurants we've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Well done to the owners and wonderful staff which make your experience very special. Thank you guys.

Not very welcoming (if you don't want Customers at 4:30pm, why say you open at 4?). Pizza was undercooked in the middle.

Great food in a modern pizza oven, fair prices for area and really high quality interior design. Staff are the best for me though, genuine range of people just doing their job well, and that makes every visit of mine here really pleasant.

Great coffee too - like the pizza, everything it made with top quality ingredients and it shows. The pizzas are cooked in a proper pizza oven & so have the leopard spotting on the crust. Light dough, really tasty sauce & top quality mozzarella make a big difference. We had a Margherita and a Napoli - both excellent - followed by a cappuccino each and it was the best lunch we've had in a while. We'll be back with friends and if you're not from Liphook - as it's a small town - it's worth a trip there. Some other nice shops nearby too. Top quality food, excellent service from friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I wrote a review a few months ago saying how amazing the gluten free pizza is but I had a gluten free pizza tonight and they have changed it to what tasted like a bought in base. It was a very average pizza and not worth the extra £5 I had to pay for gluten free. The tiramasu wasn't great either.

Booked for a large group for a celebration meal, turned up and we were made to feel inconvenient & in the way. We were ignored by the male manager and he was clearly annoyed at us, he was very unprofessional and ended up walking off and hiding out back when we went up to pay the final bill, We spent over £400 there, the service was awful, didn’t get asked what drinks we would like for over 30 minutes, very poorly run that night and we were made to feel so unwelcome. We also got told the day before we were booked in to come that we would have to leave after 2 hours as they’d booked another lot of people on the same table. wouldn’t recommend

Great find very close to our airbnb. Managed to book a table outside the day before. All of our food was delicious. Great selection of starters and pizzas. Quality ingredients. Also nice selection of wines, we enjoyed a particularly good bottle of Italian white. Service was a little slow at times, we had to remind staff for menus etc but it was extremely busy. The bill arrived with a 10% service charge added (I don't remember seeing this noted on the menu). I asked the waitress to remove this which was no problem. She asked if there were any issues with the service to which we said no. I just prefer to tip as I feel necessary rather than it be automatically added. All in all, a delicious meal and we will definitely be back if in the area.

We were warmly welcomed to this attractive restaurant, with flowers on each table. The staff were very friendly and efficient. A nice wine list and very good beer. The pizzas are very large and delicious. A very nice evening meal.

THE BEST VEGAN PIZZA I’VE EVER HAD. My grandad lives in liphook and I go all the time for this pizza - absolutely wonderful dough, crust and toppings. Wow. Must visit!

Best pizza I've ever had. Calzone double decker! After much debate with my wife - we reckon this is better than we had in naples the home of pizza (apparently) - almost worth cycling or driving from Brighton for! Even more reason to arrange spa days at champneys forest mere.

Amazing pizzas, good beer, good wine. Fantastic service and lovely staff. We have been a few times now and every time we go it's fantastic. We love the "authentic" Italian feel. Their pizza dough is so good you even have to eat the crusts! The best place to eat in Liphook. Update: It's still amazing, the pizzas are just as good as ever, the service is still great. The only downside is that you really need to plan ahead, booking strongly recommend! We love it. Everyone who gives there with us loves it and wants to go back.

Great atmosphere, service, wine, and of course.....the pizza. Absolute gem. Worth booking, high tables are great.

After lots of recommendations I finally made it out to Guidos and it did not disappoint. The Fiorentina was perfection and so totally authentic. Sharing truffles with mum threw me back to family holidays in Tuscany bombing on bikes down the hillside having fun. While this was my first visit to Guido’s it will certainly not be my last.

What a lovely local find, ate here last Friday with my fiance and had such a lovely meal, amazing fresh pizzas with the most beautiful toppings was absolutely delicious. I had the best carbonarra I have ever eaten in my life, very simply done with the most gorgeous flavour. Beautiful tuscan wines to match I cannot wait to visit the family's vineyard in August. Do give this local business at try it will not disappoint. ❤️👏👏

We thought we’d try this place as where we intended to go was closed. WOW what a find. This place is the bees knees. We were so welcomed, all the staff very friendly and intensive. And the food… Amazing. It made us feel like we were in a little holiday. So happy to have stumbled upon Guidos.

Went to order pizza on Friday night around 7pm only to be told they'd run out of pizza dough! Obviously not home made then as sainsbury within walking distance where they could buy more flour. Considering they only do pizza we left very disappointed

Nice place to enjoy a really good pizza or salads. Recommended! I missed probably in the menu pasta options but the pizza was really well cooked and well made!

(Takeaway) Guido's pizza is fantastic definitely worth a try. It's better than something like Domino's because it does not leave a nasty aftertaste or feeling overwhelmed by the salt after. Definitely shall have again some time.

Best Italian in the area, we ordered from the lunch menu to collect and the portions are just incredible, the food is fresh and every mouthful is just a delight!

Delicious meal- easy dining! After our take away test in 2022, we decided to have a meal here and we’re delighted with the food and ambiance. Our reservation was noted on a white tile on the table (made in Spain lol!) and the place was already busy on a Thursday early evening (19:00). We had the surprising polenta chips (POLENTA FRITTA TARTUFATA, SALSA AL GORGONZOLA Fried truffled polenta chips, with grated parmesan and gorgonzola sauce) as a shared starter, followed by a FIORENTINA and CAPRICCIOSA with extra anchovies. Everything was delicious and more than a portion. The polenta chips were served wonderfully hot and the dipping sauce combined well. The pizzas were delicious and filling. The service was bright and friendly and relaxed, although the tables were pretty close to one another, so you could definitely listen in to next door’s conversation were you so inclined: but the food was much more interesting!!! There were specials but as it was our first time eating in, we chose from the main menu. The glass of wine was lovely (I don’t drink) and we came away paying under £50 for a delightful evening, lovely food and wonderful company!!

I’ve tried a number of times to book dinner a few days in advance but it is always fully booked. Finally visited a few weeks ago at lunchtime when, although not busy, still had a lovely cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. The pizzas were delicious.

I went to Guidos last Friday lunchtime for first time in a while. Still the best pizza i have ever had. Ab superb. Guido is also very friendly and fantastic host.

Thought we’d try collecting some pizzas as we fancied some proper pizzas.. so glad we did! From phoning and speaking with the lovely waitress, pizzas were ready in 20 mins, restaurant it self looks beautiful and the waitresses were both lovely and smiley 😊 Huge pizzas, generous amount of toppings and perfect dough 🤤 Definitely going to eat in too, we’d end up ordering once a week if lived closer! Absolutely delicious!!

As a couple who have spent a lot of holidays in Italy, we can confidently say that Guido's offers real Italian pizza and it's absolutely delicious. Proper Italian cooking, no compromise on quality of ingredients and a great wine list too. Along with a buzzing but not overly noisy or crowded atmosphere, Guido's exceeded all expectations and we will be back regularly. Thank you Guido's for bringing proper Italian food to Liphook!

Guido's is the best eatery in Liphook. The staff were friendly and welcoming, our waitress was a delight, and the food was delicious. The venue itself is cosy and classy.

Incredible this is in Liphook. My wife and I attended for lunch and were not disappointed. I had a deep fried calzone that was baked properly in the oven before frying and was served with an exemplary side salad. My wife had the Crab & Prawn linguine which was also fantastic. There is a clear passion for great ingredients and a Italian trattoria feel. Shocked that there was no queue outside with food this good. I had a glass of the red, and my wife the rosé, both tasted great - to the point where I had to purchase a bottle of the red for a reasonable price (from the family vineyard too!). Lunch was rounded of with my wife having a pistachio crème brûlée which she described as amazing; I saw Tiramisu and could not resist, the sponge was cloud like yet it tasted so boozy, the best tiramisu I have had in around 20 years. I only wish I hadn’t taken a photo of my calzone that makes it look beige as it was definitely anything but beige food. Not often I will write a review, but the service was friendly, the food sublime and the restaurant felt comfortable.

Came here for our Goddaughter’s 18th birthday. She is vegetarian and loves Italian food. We had heard Guidos was good and we wanted to support a local business. We had a brilliant evening. Greeted by friendly staff on arrival and we were served quickly and efficiently by the professional staff. Starters, mains and desserts were all top quality and couldn’t be faulted. And most importantly one happy Goddaughter. We will definitely return and will recommend to friends. Please keep up the high standard!

We went for a family night out and had a very friendly welcome. Starters were delicious and creative. We chose pizzas and a pasta special. Really good prawn and chilli tortellini. Wine was very good and reasonably priced. Delicious. Great to support a local independent business. We will definitely be back.

Guidos is noisy and crowded but given the dearth of other half decent restaurants in Liphook, is popular. However it's becoming the victim of its own success. Yesterday Guidos rang us in the morning and confirmed our booking but when we turned up there was...

Greatest pizza experience ever - book in advance. Beers and wines are a perfect match UPDATE: from a 5* to a3* Visited with as a family, with an 18 month old. We were rather disappointed with the service, although the pizzas and my starter was lovely, it was a shame to feel like we weren’t welcome. It must be noted that we were the only people in the restaurant. We were there for 20 mins before being asked for our drinks order. When we asked if we could have a smaller pizza made for our son we were told no. We had to buy a full size pizza, which I thought was ridiculous. My understanding of this place is that it is a family friendly restaurant especially opening from 4pm so I was shocked that they couldn’t make a smaller pizza for him. It would have been nice for the lady who works in there to have come over to see how everything was. Maybe a better experience next time

A friend who lives in Liphook and I had dinner here. The food is AMAZING, the atmosphere is vibrant, the service is spot on. All the wine is from Guido’s family vineyard in Italy and it’s amazing. Thank you for a wonderful evening

Visited Guido’s for the first time after hearing great things. My expresso martini was fabulous! The staff were very knowledgeable about the wines and very polite. My tomato, goats cheese, onion and crispy parma ham starter was delightful, some really great flavours and textures. And the pizza! The pizza was so delicious, perfect dough and cooked beautifully!!! We all had a amazing meal/experience and agreed we would definitely be back.

Authentic unique taste. Real taste of Italy. I find these days most restaurants are using so much salt and leaving the taste behind. Guido’s food is creative, delicious. It’s a hidden gem. Fantastic service. And if you’re vegan, staff is happy to accommodate. Special place....

They don't seem as good since the lockdown. Pizza thinner and less topping. They can do better.

Visited with family on a recent break in the area, selected due to glowing previous reviews. The atmosphere and vibe was great, the food delicious but the only issue we encountered was the inexperience of a number of the waiting staff, this was raised with the Manager prior to settling the bill. However this can be resolved with training and time on the job. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending.

Been to this restaurant and have ordered takeaway pizza a few times already. So far my favourite restaurant in UK. The pizzas are amazing and taste a lot like what I have had in Italy. Tried the risotto once and it was.also amazing. The deserts are also really good. Pizzas cost around £13. Defenitely would recommend anyone.

Great food, watch your pizza being made in the oven, delicious authentic dough. The Bar is limited on choices, Ok, we know it's Italian, wine and beer and cocktails, but no no sparkling ginger beer, no sparkling lemonade? and nothing on draft? - so no...

Ooh! Another fairly local place that's very good! Classic Italian style cooking, choose from excellent thin base pizzas as the name suggests but there are a few pasta and salad options. Very good service too. It just needs relocating to an older building in an Italianesque square 😉

Absolutely brilliant, authentic pizza experience. Though we didn’t have it, the pasta looked great too. Everything complemented by a good range of wines. Everything very reasonably priced. The atmosphere was great and the staff welcoming, friendly and efficient. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
