Lovely food. Been a few times now and had carbonara each time and every time I’m wanting more!

Popped in for a meal whilst working away. Nice food and staff.

Visited today ( sat 5th oct) and enjoyed good food and service. The young ladies who were serving were extremely polite, good knowledge of the food offered, and had a good sense of humour. Compliments to the kitchen staff as the food was great, and just enough for lunch. There is no doubt that my friends and I will be revisiting this lovely establishment.

I really wanted to like this restaurant as there is such an opportunity for a good place in Alton. However the experience didn’t live up to the menu which looks so good. The food lacked that something extra and the presentation was disappointing. The calamari was just presented as a row of beige rings on a plate. Pizza express do this better! The mains were OK but sadly not at the standard you would hope from a restaurant. Maybe we dined on a bad night for them and would love it if they improve the offering. The service was good and with a few tweaks this could be a great place.

I've recently moved to Alton and this restaurant has become my haven! The food is divine and the service and rapport absolutely first rate. I have eaten here 4 times and each time has been wonderful. Thank you to the staff for being so understanding today when my visitors were stuck in traffic en route from London which made us a bit later than planned. They, like me, were blown away by how good this restaurant is. I'm so grateful I found you!

If you are looking for delicious authentic Italian food, this is the place. We went there in a group of 32 people as a pre wedding dinner. Everyone got their food together it was hot and delicious. The staff were perfect, polite and very friendly. I would not think twice about going here to eat. Highly recommended.

The perfect meal, food and wine was delicious and the atmosphere was nice for a weekday dinner. The vegetarian mezze sharing platter was delicious. Very cozy.

Stayed in Alton for a wedding and called in here by chance for Lunch. Really nice staff and excellent service. Menu was lovely and both had a chicken pasta dish which was excellent. Nice atmosphere would thoroughly recommend.

Went couple of days ago with husband and a friend and had a lovely meal. Food was delicious, although the stuffing in my friends chicken breast had a strange taste. Portion size generous, Mia our waitress was fab! Just moved to the area so a nice find. Will definitely be back.

We absolutely Love @cucinadeisapori. The best restaurant in town, amazing cuisine and the best wine to complement the food. The outdoor garden makes you feel like you're in a Mediterranean setting. Such a welcoming and attentive team of people who want you to relax and enjoy your dining experience. X

I lived in Italy and visit often: I despair of finding decent Italian cuisine in England - needles in haystacks spring to mind though there are a few in London. And, now I discover after all these years there's one in Alton. What a clot! This was the real deal, beautifully cooked food, lovely friendly (but discreet) service and a terrific atmosphere also. It may have taken me 20 years but I know I'm goping to be a regular. Indeed, I've already made another booking.

A group of us from our football team went here for dinner. The food was excellent, fresh and a fantastic selection of red wine and of course some Lemonchello. Our waitress Mia looked after us and provided a great service. Would highly recommend this restaurant .

Marvellous place, had a salmon tortellini special that was otherworldly. Cheeseboard and antipasti platters very large and generous.

Went for dinner with my wife .lovely atmosphere. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, and the food was really tasty. We shareda bottle of wine too which was equally nice. The place was busy despite it being a Tuesday night which is always a good sign. Highly recommended.

My first visit and I could not have enjoyed it more, this is a restaurant that grows on you both the environment and the atmosphere. There was a lunch time easy menu but I decided to go off the specials board and the starter menu. The Funghi Al Forno was an indication of what was to come, BI had decided to choose from the specials board and the Salt Imbocca did not dissapiont, I chose a large glass of the Merlot Del Vene x 2 and finished off with a Latte coffee. The food and Service were both first class and the £41.50 was in my opinion was more than acceptable. This is first class restaurant and will return.

First time visiting. The food was lovely but the service was to quick could not finish our starter before they wanted to take it away Then the mains were there before we knew. Needs to be a bit more relaxed when spending good money on a poor service.

We've just had a lovely evening here. The Specials Board alone left us spoilt for choice before we even looked at the menu! Lovely starters, delicious mains. All the staff were lovely, and very friendly, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is cosy and comfortable. Can't fault anything! Thank you! 😁

Excellent new restaurant in town highly recommended. Gamberoni, rib eye and vegetable pasta all highly recommended. Wine also very good. We'll be back for sure!

This is a top little restaurant, Not pricy but sensible, the dishes are lovely and with good sized portions. The rosemary potato’s are the best , this venue was great and well patronised even on a Monday evening.

This is my favourite restaurant in Alton having been several times. Unfortunately last night was a disappointment. The waitresses did not seem to be on the ball in as much as having being offered fresh pasta but not being told that there was an extra charge of £5 per dish total main meal price £22.75. Requested water which was not chilled and not delivered on a tray. I would expect when paying a service charge that the service would be top notch! Understandably the restaurant was busy but we felt that we were being rushed. I may go back but not in the near future which is a shame as my partner was going to take me there fir my birthday.

Delicious food, excellent service and very good value for money. First visit to Alton so very pleased with selection of Cucina Dei Sapori for dinner. Highly recommended.

We booked this Italian for a long lunch and we were very pleasantly surprised. Whilst the menu is very good there was a large specials board too. Slow cooked baby octopus and whitebait starters were good sized portions and delicious. Mains of spinach and ricotta ravioli and veal escalope with rosemary potatoes. Great atmosphere, busy with several smaller interconnecting rooms. Food and wine was authentic. Engaging staff too. They had a Mon- fri lunchtime discount too which was a bonus. Finished with a great coffee. We will be back to try more!

Came here with my teenage son for an early midweek supper. This was the first time we have been to this restaurant. We were warmly greeted on arrival and quickly shown to our table. The decor is warm, inviting and stylish and despite being very early in the evening it had a welcoming atmosphere. The menu was authentic and varied and it is always a positive to be shown a ‘specials’ board. The food was very good indeed but unfortunately we couldn’t finish our meal (our eyes were too be big for our bellys) but were were offered a doggy bag however we declined. The price was very reasonable too and we will definitely be coming back here soon.

Agree completely with the other ‘excellent’ reviews for this great restuarant. Tried it last night after a particularly traumatic week and very pleased I did. Excellent greeting on arrival, pre dinner snifter delivered promptly and the following service was excellent. Price very reasonable (it’s not a pizzaria). I went early on a Saturday evening; by the time I left it was packed. Definitely go again.

Perfect for coffee and delicious cake. I had the carrot cake, which was the best I've tasted - it was so good. The food passing by our table to the other diners looked scrumptious. Will definitely return to have lunch or dinner. Service was excellent with friendly staff.

2 more fabulous evenings at Cucina Dei Sapori in Alton, Hants. Festive fun on both Christmas and New Years Eve. Superb atmosphere, service, food and wine. The festive menu provided yet more Italian culninary delights, with the additon of new starters, mains and desserts. The service is always top class in this stylish homage to Italy and The Med. Both evenings were very busy but this did not detract from the quality of food or service. Cannot recommend it enough....

Buon Giorno !! For the reader ..I am lucky enough to have had a 'mamma from Napoli' so I appreciate Italian food. I live in Alton and in recent times my partner and I have spent many an enjoyable meal at this 'gem' of a restaurant. Very recently 14 of us celebrated my partner's birthday at Cucina dei Sapori and ...the evening was 'fantastico'.Not only was the food excellent but the ambience and personal attention given to us was tip top too. We can not thank Amir and his crew enough ...our guests that evening were also full of praise....it was truly a night to remember. So ...what more can I say ...you must visit this wonderful restaurant ...you wont be disappointed Auguri Bernardo

Excellent Italian restaurant. My kids ate it all. We ordered a pasta bolognaise, pollo with chips, risoto ai fungi and Fettuccine with crab. All of them with layers of flavour. The panacota was delicious.

Our son home for Christmas from Canada so brought him here as a welcome home meal. Really enjoyed our 3 course meal. All beautifully cooked and fresh. Hope to return soon.

Last-minute booking this evening after a recommendation, Felt so welcome as soon we walked through the door. Menu, couldn't pick one item as they were all jumping out shouting pick me, pick me! Went for one of the specials and it was definitely a special to die for. I had already chosen my pudding when I over heard the waitress telling another table what there was, the menu for pudding came out and again it was very hard to choose, but nope, I stayed with my gut and and went with the profiteroles. Best ones I've ever had. We will definitely be coming back to this amazing jem of a place. Keep doing what you are doing.

Superb hidden gem, this was our first visit and certainly won't be our last. The service was welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed and the food was amazing.

Well, we're both very pleased to have tried this place. Apparently they've just celebrated their 1 year open and I can see why they're making a success. The service was kind, helpful and authentic whilst the food was full of real Italian flavours and ideas. Shall be returning!

Our first meal at Cucina Dei Sapori and it was fantastic. Starters and Mains were really good, with perfect timing between them. Staff were very attentive and knowledgeable and had a laid back friendly manner. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed but had a special spark to it so perfect. Try the octopus starter! Amazing.

Disappointing Customer Service I recently attempted to visit for a meal but was unfortunately turned away by the staff members. I was wearing my work gear at the time, and instead of being treated with respect and hospitality, I felt like an outsider. The staff members gave me unwelcoming looks and made me feel uncomfortable. As someone who values good customer service, I was highly disappointed with how I was treated. Regardless of one's attire, every customer deserves to be treated with kindness and respect. While I cannot comment on the food or overall dining experience, I wanted to share my encounter with the staff members. It is essential for any establishment to prioritize customer service, ensuring that all guests feel welcome and valued. I hope that this feedback can be taken constructively and work towards creating a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all customers.

Went here on Thursday, the place was buzzing, tables pretty near full - food was fantastic, the waiting staff were brilliant- sad for us they were off to Uni (Good luck) price was pretty reasonable. Will 100% visit again what a great place

They have a lovely garden which we hadn't expected. The service was very good and the lunch was tasty, the coffee was very good. Definitely worth a visit. You don't want to lose little gems like this

Daughter and I visited on Saturday evening. Went for slow cooked baby octopus and whitebait. Delicious! Spaghetti alle vongole, from the specials menu, and seafood spaghetti. Both were again delicious. Staff really friendly and attentive. Cibo favoloso, grazie

Lovely friendly place with the best Italian food I've ever had. The desserts are amazing, especially the tiramisu and the panna cotta.

Ambience and service were better than the food, which was average unfortunately. The garden at the rear is a lovely spot in the summer, just wish I could get more excited about the food

Great staff never let your glass get dry. The food was amazing. I had a seafood risotto the shell fish were cleaned and prepared perfectly thank you chef.

Lovely little gem, nestled away in the town. Only had morning coffee and cheesecake, sat out in the courtyard garden. Very nice. Will be sure to go again.
