Wow. Definitely an Eastbourne hidden gem. From being warmly welcomed by Marina to experiencing the exquisite food prepared by Amy we were left not wanting for anything. The food was truly amazing and we will definitely return. Eastbourne has lacked on the fine dining front for many years but Journeys has filled that gap perfectly. Fabulous Sunday lunch here - a short menu of 5 mains, which I like. Tasty, hearty home cooked food and excellent service. Ancient Grains is a gem which we should treasure. If you want proper home cooked Sardinian food in charming surroundings at a very reasonable price, this is the place to go.

Gorgeous Italian restaurant located very close to the sea front. Came for a meal with my wife, first time visit. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Great choice of food on the menu at very reasonable prices. All the dishes tasted perfect. The house wine went down a treat too. Highly recommend a visit here, a solid 5 star restaurant.

The only place to eat pizza in Eastbourne.

I was tempted by the set menu price which seemed to represent very good value. The restaurant on a Thursday evening was very busy and now I know why. The starter of prawn salad was attractively presented, was a generous portion and very tasty. For main I had sea bass in a tomato and olive sauce on a bed of crushed new potatoes. The fish was perfectly cooked with a crispy skin and the dish served very hot. The only other thing I ordered was a mint tea, but even that was excellent being made from the fresh herb in a teapot. The service was completely faultless. Everyone I encountered was friendly and attentive. As a solo diner catching a train I was really pleased to be served with no delays. My main arrived only minutes after my starter was cleaned away. Astonishing with such a busy restaurant and a couple of birthdays. As I live near Brighton, Eastbourne seems a relatively sleepy place in the evening, but this restaurant had a vibrant atmosphere.

Last night I had an amazing dinner with my fiance, he choose the pizza that was so fresh and tasty🍕😋, I choose the gnocchi and was to die for🍝🤤. The service made our night! ✨🌟 We will be back! 🎉🥳

Excellent food and service, my wife and I ate here this evening, I had the Lasagna which was fabulous, one of the best I've had and my wife had a margarita pizza which had a thin base and a generous topping. Rossi offers great value for money and the service was first class, Nancy took great care of us and is very friendly and helpful!
